I have ordered several times from this company in the past and at first they didn't seem too bad. Delivery times were 2-3 weeks and the goods I got were acceptable. However, my latest order was placed on 31st August and it is now 2nd October and I have received nothing, although they took my payment on 31st August. I phoned Customer Services last week and although the lady I spoke to was not rude, she told me that the order had been delayed because, you guessed it, one item was not in stock and should have been in their warehouse on 13th September. At my request she removed this item from my order and said that the payment would be refunded to PayPal. She said that the rest of the order would now be despatched and should be with me in 3-4 working days. So far, nothing received and no refund. It's a pity that the goods aren't delivered as quickly as the three catalogues per week that come through my letterbox, most of them offering me a chance in a prize draw that probably doesn't exist. If this order ever arrives it will be the last one I place with this company.
Pity you cannot give a minus rating. This company should be avoided at all costs. They are keen to take your money but very slow at sending orders out and then claim items are out of stock (but do not tell you).
Customer relations are worse than pitiful. They do not answer e-mails or enquiries through ther own website and then claim returned goods cannot be traced. They refuse to refund money due on returns, blame Hermes and generally present a dispicable picture of incompetance.
The only thing they are good at is bombarding you with tacky catalogues containing tacky goods and ask you to enter prize draws that probably do not exist. If any one won they would no doubt after wait for payment longer than you have to wait for a refund.
I ordered from them on 3 September. It is now 21 September and nothing received. I can't be bothered to phone them. I shall be very surprised if I ever receive anything.

It has been nearly 7 weeks now since I ordered items from them. I have been trying to get through them for over a week.
I too have sent them a 'no punches pulled' email and if I do not receive my goods within the next few days I will report them to trading standards for investigation. I suggest that all those who have left bad reviews here should do the same.
I'm not happy, I'm disabled and have to rely so much on the internet ordering sites for clothes etc and this company is obviously targeting much of its wares at the disabled and elderly, the vulnerable. I'm guessing that some may even order and forget that they have. This company needs sorting or closing.
The whole experience with them has been bad. They overcharged me the P and P because it was supposed to be free, they said they would refund it to me but instead of refunding my card they sent me a cheque!!! It still sits in my purse and I wonder if it will bounce?
I would NOT recommend anyone use them.

Won't be using this company again.😫 Can't even answer an email (sent via their "contact us" link) about my order not being received yet. Another 5 days, and I rang them (not on the expensive order line number!) After waiting 16 minutes for a customer services person to answer, they knew immediately what I was ringing for. (Either they read my email, or this is a common enquiry 🤔🙁 Low and behold, my order was delayed at the warehouse, but would be sent out via Hermes today. 🤐 Hmm, we'll see.
After reading the other reviews, I'm wondering how they can operate at all with such poor service. Note to self - find reviews online before ordering from a company I don't know. I only placed an order as the soap was on offer, and I'd not seen it anywhere else.

Ordered an item for my wife and still waiting for delivery over a month later with no communications until I initiated a dispute via Paypal. Now claim item is being despatched, but if it doesn't turn up in next few days I shall ask Paypal for money back.
I've never bought anything from this company - just enquired on behalf of my elderly mother. But ever since I've been bombarded with promotional magazines intended to exploit the elderly and vulnerable. Also prize draws with a premium phone line to contact.
This company is a scandal and should be exposed for their shameless attempt to exploit the vulnerable. Shame on them.
My complaint is that these tacky little magazines are stapled into some TV guides, and the stuff they sell is junk. The prize draws are not worth looking at, let alone entering. They are put into our TV guides by whom? Not all the advertised goods in the TV guides are bad, but these are tat. I have come to recognise this type of cheap, but not cheerful merchandise from many of these little mags, and I think they should not be put in publications in a sneaky way to con the public. Who does this, and how can it be stopped? They used to fall through our letterboxes, but so many people had them blocked that they are trying a different way!
Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. HLD took payment as soon as order was received. One month later I contacted Customer Services to enquire when my order would be dispatched. They informed me item was currently out of stock and no idea of when it would be available. I requested a refund - only to be told item was back in stock and had been dispatched. 8 days later item arrived, poorly packed with lots of horrible little brochures advertising goods from different companies but with same address as HLD. Amazingly item was not broken can only imagine that it was handled with care by the carrier HERMES. Will not be ordering from them again. Should have stuck to Lakeland or John Lewis!
My husband purchased a so called lap desk from Healthy Living Direct web site.. Firstly it took ages to arrive. Secondly it's made of such cheap plastic that it almost broke when assembled. Definitely not easy to use.
I strongly recommend you do not buy it.
It's not even worth the cost of returning.
This company should not be allowed to trade I placed 1 order with them some time ago which arrived damaged due to being poorly packaged and my order contained lots of junk mail ,catalogues etc which I did not want nor opt in to receive.Months later I am still being bombarded with marketing mail packages by post of at least 4 a week.I emailed them and told them ages ago to stop sending me this marketing junk mail and that I never opted in to receive any postal or other marketing mail from them.They just put my details on their data base without my knowledge or permission I have reported them to the ICO and am very disturbed at the copious amounts of marketing mail they are still sending me and harassing me. They are pests basically and their marketing mail includes scam free cash prize draws offers urging me to respond without delay etc which I don't.I am very concerned that vulnerable people will and do respond to their scam offers of free cash prizes etc and am again contacting the ICO about them and would ask other people who are being harassed like this by them to also report them to the ICO (Information Commissioners Office ).
When I received my order, one of the items I had ordered was missing, and I was sent something I did not order. Since then I have emailed about five times and got no response. This is the worst after-sales service I have ever encountered.
You may be OK using this company if you get sent what you ordered. But if there are any problems with your order you may find it difficult or even impossible to resolve these.
I placed an order on 29 January 2018 and Healthy Living took my money straight away. As I had not received my goods I telephoned them on 8/2 only to be told they would not ship any of my order until all items were in stock, which one item would be 26/2 and another 15/3. I told them to cancel the whole order and issue a refund back to Paypal, I was told on the phone that this had been done, and my order cancelled. Several days later this had still not been done and I had to ask Paypal to recover the funds for me, which they have now done.

I needed to return items ordered that were to small. TRY AND FIND A RETURNS ADDRESS ON THE WEBSITE? GOOD LUCK WITH THAT, despite having a "returns and refund policy" THERE IS NO ADDRESS SUPPLIED TO RETURN ITEMS. the Customer service is..... well there isn't any, 3 emails asking for a returns address and NOT ONE SINGLE REPLY. No doubt they will reply AFTER the time for returns has expired.
i have ordred from HLD in the passed and have been happy, but trying to return items is a waste of time.
best advice i can give is if you get faulty, or goods that don't fit AVOID as much use as a chocolate fireguard
What a load of crap quick to take payment then when not delivered one phones to askwhy all you get is its out of stock and will be in later. Finished up asking for my money back. Waiting now to see how long that takes. Whatever the outcome for God's sake avoid this company like the plague
Placed order and after no updates I emailed this company 2x with no response at all. Went through PayPal to get refund. Got refund from HLD but still no apology or explanation. Shouldn’t be allow to advertise in magazines. Hope people research before placing any orders with this company
I had waited almost a month for my order and my patience waned so I rang customer services and was told that because one item on my order was not in stock HLD were withholding dispatch until the following month (NOV).
I was gob smacked to say the least, so I said your performance has not improved since the last time I used your services a couple of years ago. I am ordering these items from you against my better judgement in view of my previous order with yourselves. I hoped you had upped your game. My friend asked me to use you as she was in urgent need, but you have let me down again. Cancel the item that is causing the hold up and send the remainder of my order please. Customer service agreed to this and said they were making a refund for the item they were unable to send and refunding the cost to PayPal. The delivery would take a further seven days! I did get delivery yesterday - a month after ordering but no refund to PayPal account. I have just 'phoned HLD and was told we are having a little difficulty with PayPal at the moment so you should receive it in a couple of days ! I will NEVER shop with this company again.
I ordered from this company for the first time recently, I wasn’t happy with the item I ordered so enquired about returning it, not much help at all as was told to return it by Royal Mail at my own expense, then it would be refunded into my account. Well I got the refund but not the full amount paid so I phoned them up,not a good customer service manner by the advisor,very blunt & said they hadn’t refunded the postage of £4.99 so as it was my first order they would send me a cheque as though they were doing me a big favour. I would most definitely never use this company again & would seriously advise nobody else to use them either,I wouldn’t recommend them.

I have tried to order a product advertised in a pamphlet enclosed in a TV mag. NO way can I do it online, after about twenty times of searching for the item, giving precise details and item number I got no-where, save your energy.
