Very friendly staff and a painless procedure

Seen on time. Listened to concerns and took into account recent health issues.
Audiologist fully explained the testing procedure and what is being tested.
Clear explanation of the outcome of the test with hard copy of results provided. Agreed next steps and follow up appointment.

My husband attended a diagnostic hearing appointment at Hearology to ascertain how much hearing loss there was after a recent stroke. He has asphasia and is finding some speech and understanding challenging. He felt his hearing was only very slightly different however the tests undertaken showed a significant hearing loss on one side. Michael was not only gentle and mindful he was also extremely helpful in explaining exactly how the stroke had caused hearing loss and what range was affected before going on to fit him with temporary hearing aids, my husbands reaction to hearing clearly brought tears to my eyes and completely blew his mind an absolute lightbulb moment. It immediately made a difference to his speech and understanding and with constant wear will only improve more.
Hearology will guide you every step of the way to hearing clearly now and for the future with constant check up and tweaks to the aids ensuring you’re getting the best possible.
Hearing loss if left undetected can cause memory loss as the brain shuts off what it can no longer hear.
I cannot recommend Hearology enough.

Easy to book online, next day appointment too. When you have a blocked ear, you don't want to be waiting too long. Stephen was welcoming, thorough and made me feel at ease. Would definitely recommend and use again

My treatment (micro suction) was painless and successful and Stephen was very friendly and put me at my ease.

Lovely receptionist, who was very welcoming. Procedure was explained clearly by Stephen before and during the microsuction to remove hardened wax. He was very reassuring and informative. Wax was totally cleared and Stephen was careful to explain about the ears' aftercare. Not painful, just a bit noisy, but always felt I was in good hands. Can thoroughly recommend.

I was slightly apprehensive about what was to come - I needn't have been! The atmosphere was at the same time relaxed and professional. Stephen, who undertook the procedure, explained exactly what he was going to do and described the sensations I would experience. He had an air of complete confidence, and so it proved. He was also responsive to my sense of humour, always a gold star in my estimation. I can now hear again, and it's a real pleasure, as was attending Hearology's clinic.

From start to finish, a lovely experience...warm welcome, caring receptionist, brilliant audiologist who put me at ease immediately Everything thought of. I highly recommend this practice in Forest Row.
