Simple and easy
The bag delivery was simple and easy. I filled it and booked the collection. Hippo said it could be any time between 6am and 6pm. I was busy when the truck arrived so nearly missed it but spotted it and raced out expecting to have to direct and assist only to find the guy had collected the bag already no problem and also picked up a couple of extra small bags I had placed as I wasn't sure how full I was allowed to fill the main bag. I was super impressed and grateful.

First time using hippo bag as didn’t…
First time using hippo bag as didn’t want a skip on the drive in case it damaged it. Ordering online was simple. Bag arrived quickly and once full, booked the collection online. The collection lorry arrived a day or so later. We didn’t even need to move cars for him to crane it on. A brilliant service.

Very easy to order, I like the fact that you have 6 months to arrange collection unlike a skip. The bags are robust. Collection was easy to arrange and was swiftly picked up.

Hippo is a terrible company!! Both communication and service is dire. DO NOT USE!! We essentially paid £200 for a big yellow bag not to be collected. Save your money and use another company. Absolute con.

I have used Hippo many times now & i can't fault anything at all. Even when they eere really busy & couldn't pick up the bag within 5 days, they communicated that to me without me having to chase, it's just a really simple, effective service.

When I had not received my Hippo bag…
When I had not received my Hippo bag the call receiver handled it well, apologising as it had been a number of days, told me she would call back and did. Driver was polite and it was my first time use, a bit pricey but with the plasterboard separated in dumpy bags within the skip to prevent soiling old kitchen units it was an all round good experience.
