Do not look any further than this team in my opinion. Very professional at every stage. A very tightly run business who value their customers, workmanship and their reputation. They replaced an old boiler. Rob, our engineer was excellent. I would recommend without a second thought

Highly recommend HOCU. We had an issue with our heating/hot water and they responded quickly and were persistent in getting to the bottom of the fault with Grace in the office being super helpful with updates. Very reasonable charges and very friendly and professional too.

Recently had a new ideal combi boiler + hive thermostat installed by Hocu to replace old existing combi. Couldn’t be happier with the service - Vince came around and did a really thorough inspection and talked me through various options/solutions - completely honest and transparent. Took the time to come in the evening too as I work late which was appreciated. Really competitive price, and quick turnaround (installed within a week) Robert did most of the work on the day - also put in some new plumbing for a washing machine, and outside tap + TRV on upstairs radiator. Thanks guys, will definitely use you again for any future plumbing jobs.

We have used HOCU before in emergencies and just had a planned service on our boiler today. Helpful and friendly staff from booking through to completion of work. Will definitely use again.

Came out straight away. Identified the issue and was back within a few days to complete the work. Very friendly guys, kept me updated with the issues and fixes all the way through.

Quick response to enquiry and plumber was able to call the same day to fix a slow fill cistern and leaking pipe. Work was completed efficiently. Office admin kept me updated with arrival time etc. It is good to find a company that will attend as promised and get the job done proficiently.

The HOCU team were great from start to finish - phone staff responding quickly to my initial enquiry - providing information about my appointment and trying to accomodate my time needs as well as clearly pointing out all costs - engineers arrived on time and were very polite. They carried out the work as requested, were professional and tidy and did a good job!

Having an engineer named Rob who was courteous, confident and new his job inside and out. So with that in mind left him to it and gave me regular updates when required.
My existing thermostat wasn’t fit for purpose and advised me to use the Hive technology as this was very reliable. The office gave me a price and decided to accept this and work commenced. Within 1 hour the thermostat was up and running and Rob explained fully the workings of it.
A very happy customer and from now will be using this company

We needed our boiler serviced as a matter of urgency and Grace arranged for an engineer to come round within 48 hrs of our request.

When Rob serviced our boiler, we was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and his work was first class.

I wouldn't hesitate to use HOCU again and I would thoroughly recommend them..... 5 stars all round!!

We have had problems with our central heating system for a while; slow to respond, and not holding pressure. Neighbours recommended HOCU. They were quick to respond. After discussions with Vince, I decided to pay for a leak survey. That showed up a leak in the coil within the hot water cylinder, and also a probable leak in pipework in the ground floor screed. HOCU replaced the HW cylinder, then flushed the system and suggested putting in valves to isolate the suspect section of pipework, which proved that it had indeed been leaking. Vince and Martin then worked out a plan to relocate and re-pipe a radiator to eliminate the section of pipe in the screed. This was a difficult job, on pipes in a confined space, but the result is neater than I thought possible, and although it is early days we now finally have a system which responds quickly and holds pressure. Vince, Martin and James have been helpful, courteous and efficient throughout, and admin, billing and communications have been excellent.

Hocu have always attended promptly and professionally. Martin was very professional and knowledgable. He carried out the work required to a high standard and is always polite and respectful. Another wonderful job completed.

I had a leaking tap in my boiler. Rob was very helpful and got it fixed in no time. Excellent service!

I decided to have a new radiator fitter.phoned HOCU,(who I've used before) .I got a swift reply ,came out that day and priced the job.Two days later new radiator was fitted. So very pleased with the work(thank you Martin).No fuss,no mess and brilliant job done.you wouldn't have known they been. Punctual and helpful.best plumbers in town .

I have used HOCU a number of times over the past few years and each time the service has been excellent. The admin team are friendly, helpful and efficient and the engineers are punctual, knowledgeable and professional. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

What a professional job new boiler fitted plus power flush, all explained as work carried out. Will totaly recommend hocu what a bonus to have such a professional clean and tiny workers.
