Extremely Disappointed After Spending Over £12,000
We booked our September 2025 Florida holiday through Holiday Floridas, spending over £12,000 on what was supposed to be a carefully planned, memory-filled family holiday. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by serious ticketing errors and extremely poor communication.
We had a split stay — 10 days at Disney and 7 days at Universal. Our Universal Orlando tickets were dated incorrectly, starting from our travel date while we were still staying at Disney. This meant they expired three days before the end of our Universal stay. You would expect these tickets to either start from your Universal hotel check-in date, or for the company to ask about your plans and set the dates accordingly. Instead, we were left without park access for the final part of our holiday, meaning we paid for 14-day tickets but only got 4 days’ use.
We also lost the included Express Pass benefits at our on-site Universal hotel — one of the main reasons we paid extra to stay there. So we essentially paid a higher hotel rate to use Express Passes we couldn’t use for three days.
Holiday Floridas admitted the tickets should have been issued later but then suggested it was my responsibility for not noticing sooner. As both my son and I are neurodivergent, our priority was to focus on making memories while away and address issues once home. I emailed them the day we flew back (20th September) and had to chase repeatedly for a response as I didn’t want to deal with then on holiday (neurodivergent child and myself so priority was to not stress), was told should have contacted and they’d issue new tickets, considering it took them 2 to 3 weeks to initially reply and they don’t answer the phone, could one explain how this would have been realistically possible? Trevor finally replied on 6th October, saying he’d been assigned the case as he’d previously spoken with me during the booking process, he was on holiday until the 8th and would review it properly then, and on 10th October he emailed to offer £58 per person (covering just two days). This was not proportionate to the value lost, given that we missed three full days, had to pay for alternative activities, and lost paid hotel benefits.
I replied with a detailed and reasonable proposal on 10th October, 3 days worth of holiday ticket costs per person (not the 2 offered) and 30% for 3 nights hotel cost to cover the loss of express passes hotel benefit and compensate us for booking that hotel without being able to use the benefits, I haven’t even pursued compensation for the extra costs to do other activities because we could not access the parks, and the embarrassment at being turned away at the gates but since then I’ve received no further communication despite multiple polite follow-ups. It’s now been weeks with no resolution. Emails go unanswered, and phone calls ring out with nobody picking up.
We had planned to rebook with Holiday Floridas for future trips and would have happily recommended them to friends and family — but after this experience, I wouldn’t book with them again. Once they have your money, it feels like customer care and communication stop completely.
I have now escalated the issue through the Travel Trust Association (TTA) and my bank, to pursue a chargeback for partial non-delivery of services due to the lack of support and resolution.
Holiday Floridas could have resolved this quickly and amicably, but instead their silence has turned what should have been a small, fixable issue into a major source of frustration. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their aftercare and communication for future customers.

Since posting my review, Holiday Floridas have now resolved my complaint and provided the agreed refund. Trevor took the time to work with me to reach a fair and amicable resolution that we were both happy with, bringing the matter to a close on 22nd October 2025, and the refund was received on 27th October 2025. I really appreciate the outcome and the effort made to handle things fairly in the end. Although the process was stressful and communication was at times difficult, I’m glad everything has now been fully resolved and closed on a positive note.

Perfect family holidays…
Second time of booking with Holiday Floridas. We dealt with Sofia again as she’d been so helpful first time around. Just like before, we gave her a date range, an idea of what sort of package we were after (split across 2 locations) and within 24hrs, she came back with the perfect package, which was priced as competitively as any other provider (if not a lot cheaper)… I don’t usually bother writing reviews, but I can’t sing their praises enough - they delivered the perfect family holiday for us and that’s why I went straight back to them…

Sending a massive thank you to Kelly for organising our holiday. She listened to our original request and came back with prices so much cheaper then anything else we had seen. Then after booking our requirements changed a bit, we added extra parks and asked for private transfers to be added and nothing was too much trouble. She was so helpful, understanding and the prices were still brilliant.
We had an amazing holiday, made some fantastic memories and everything went like clockwork from start to finish. This is the first holiday where we didn't stay at 1 resort, but moved mid holiday to a second (all organised by Kelly) this was our best family holiday ever!
We have already started working out where we want our next holiday, this will include several different locations and will be returning to Kelly to organise it all for us.

Attention to detail
The service I received from Sofia was very good, I told her what I wanted and although asked her to quote for a few different scenarios she did without a problem.
I was booking a group of 10 of my family for a once in a lifetime trip so wanted to make sure it was right. Sofia's patience was commendable.
