Very disappointing experience as an…

Very disappointing experience as an owner. Leasing was slow, work orders were left incomplete, and we were still charged.

On top of the management fee, we were billed for many extra add-ons (inspections, eviction protection, donations, etc.), and the costs quickly exceeded our rental income. We actually lost money.

When a tenant broke the lease, the lease break fee was kept entirely by the company instead of the owner.

Communication was slow and minimal. Would not recommend to other property owners.

If I could give zero star I would...

Despite establishing a good rapport ahead of the decision to rent a flat with Holland Properties, it appears that they quickly forget that relationship and I was left having to chase them constantly for remedial work, they seem to have no teeth with the landlord they represent..I was left with a bed I could not sleep in for weeks, which after much chasing they finally sorted out but I had to sleep on the floor during that time..., It has taken months to have a health hazard cleaning arrangement put in place, which was only after I threatened to complain to the Property Ombudsman and then I saw action. They did not communicate anything about an important utility requirement and now I am facing a bill I could have paid monthly over the course of 5 months this is very poor...if I could give them 0 out of 5 I would...

We love Dan! He's an amazing maintenance man, kind hearted and connected, always going above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly. And when he said he sent his crew to winterize windows below the apartments and faucets outside the next day, he did. His crew is lucky to have him, and we appreciate all his hard work!

Very positive experience

Gabriella was such a gem!

Gabriella was such a gem!! She pushed for us and made sure we got a nice property to move into and made any adjustments necessary! She was very attentive and kept us updated all the way through. We were very pleased with her, with Holland properties, and how much of a smooth process it was.

Had a great experience recently renting with Holland Properties, Gabi especially; what a great agent! She was really accommodating, genuine and helpful. Definitely one of the better experiences we’ve had with an estate agent. Highly recommend!

My experience was really great

My experience was really great. I had the pleasure of having gabi helping me. I was very impressed with her attention to detail, knowledge and tips on what I should do. She is the only person that id want to deal with next time!!! Made my process so easy. Thanks again gabi!!!

Gabi was a breath of fresh air

Gabi was a breath of fresh air! She made what’s usually a stressful process a great experience. You can tell she really cares and goes the extra mile. We had some issues along the way but she stuck with us and really fought to get everything sorted. We’re finally moved in and couldn’t be happier. Honestly, we weren’t sure about Holland Properties at first, but this has been our best renting experience by far.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR DEPOSIT. The company is very incompetent. They have been withholding my deposit for months now, I had to complain to TDS multiples times now and still they haven't returned me my money.

My experience so far since renting with this agency has been fantastic. Anthony my managing agent for the past 2 years has been wonderful. He is quick to respond to repair issues and communicates very clearly. Tenants satisfaction is of major priority for him. I highly recommend

Moving In Day

On Friday 24th January 2025, I moved into a new property let out by Holland Properties Ltd.

When I arrived there appeared to be a multitude of things still needing to be attended to and addressed.

Listed below where the issues I identified :-

1. Property needed cleaned
2. Some of the light bulbs in the living area and kitchen were not working
3. The living room blinds were broken and not fitted to the size of the window
4. The window door in the living room is damaged and does not seal shut when the window is closed. There remains a gap (where the door connects to the hinges) even when the window is closed.
5. The fire alarm in the hallway was beeping
4. The bathroom tap and sink tap were dripping water even when the taps were off.
5. The toilet seat was broken and need tightened along with the flush handle
6. The shower is not working properly in terms of realising an adequate water supply although the water pressure seems to be fine in the bathroom.
7. The mattress in the bedroom was stained and could not be used.

My initial experience in the property was not great or welcoming and I felt I had been let down.

On the same day, I contacted Holland Properties with much panic about what they had provided to me. I was advised to contact the Property Manager for the area and directed to Anthony.

Anthony patiently listened to all of my concerns and advised as it was so late in the day he could not get a cleaner and handy man to come to the property until the following day.

We addressed there had been a breakdown in communication as all these things should have been fixed before the 24th January.

I understand there may be some things that may not be noted until a tenant actually moves in and starts using the facilities in the property, however there appeared to be many things that could have been resolved before point of entry.

However, Anthony did act as fast as he could and as promised the handyman arrived at 8am the next morning and the cleaner at 2pm. Both of them were friendly and professional and improved the flats condition considerably.

The mattress arrived on the following Wednesday which meant I really had to persevere and be patient. Anthony did try to find the retailer who would deliver the quickest. On the day the mattress arrived, Anthony also arranged the old mattress to be collected, which cleared more space in the flat. He also arranged for another handyman to come and take a look at the shower and window which is now in hand, to be arranged for repair at a suitable time which is still to be set.

I feel so much better and relaxed and although it was a rocky start I do believe Anthony and Holland Properties are able to listen to their tenants, understand and act accordingly with professionalism.

Anthony has been consistent in his communications and had put my mind at ease and can be relied on as someone who takes his job seriously to deliver good outcomes and actually cares.

Thanks for Leo

From the very first day I met my leo at the property! He was very polite and professional. He was calm and respectful. He took his time to show us everything.
I was late for 10 to 15mins. When I explained about the heavy traffic, he said no problems that he understands.
We are on top of the world we finally got the place thanks to Leo for negotiating on our behalf.

New management recruited good new agents: Leo Poaty

I am a Holland Properties tenants for the last 7 years and I will be for at least one more year.

I am changing my review about the new management of HP to reflect satisfactory service received by Leo Poaty in particular.
Leo helped us secure a good deal for a new flat, he is polite and accommodating.

He is truly an asset to the team of the new management.

------review below reflects my experience under the new management in 2023, service received an agent who I believe they no longer work for HP.
