It is our aim to create an inclusive and supportive environment for students to reach their full potential and eventually reach their study goals. Juggling work, family and studies can really be challenging, aside from our call booking system, course queries can be relayed to trainers and assessors through the student portal messaging system which is accessible 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This allows student more flexibility in their studies.
I’m really concerned to hear you have not been supported well, so I had a look into your account. I can see several support calls and hub messages with our trainers and admin staff. Please know that while our trainers and assessors and admin staff may provide guidance or assistance to our students, it remains our student's responsibility to know the course requirements and how to move forward with what is needed and complete the requirements to the satisfaction of the unit of competency. Cert IV in Disability
Inspire are a great RTO if you are organised and can self direct your own learning. The course material (learner workbooks) are suitable, however could use some updating with images, videos etc. The assessment workbook is a lot of work, which is to be expected. The placement skills workbook (for Certificate IV in Disability) is quite difficult if you do not work in the field. Inspire were good to deal with, the chat function was great and all the Trainers I dealt with were fantastic.

Great training and helpful teachers

I like your student centred approach
Trainers and assessors were student friendly and helpful. They are a phone call away, and I recommend new students, whenever you are in doubt or you have queries in completing an assessment, please seek help from the trainers at the earliest possible, that's the way you can manage your stress and timely completion.

The 3 day course was excellent
The 3 day course was excellent, the trainer did a great job, and that’s where it finished, weeks to get things marked then more time getting answers to questions, then more weeks to get confirmation of completion, and still no certificate, 4 months on. Constant phone calls and no result, there is no reason to delay this long to issue a certificate, I was told that the company only adds information to the USI register once a year in May, that’s a joke in its self.

Thank you for taking some time reaching out to us. I do see that you had concerns with your studies, and we like to offer some clarity on the matter.
We are very concerned about your comments as to the marking delays, so we had a look into your account. We have a queue system to ensure that assessments are marked in the order they are received. I can see that most of your assessments were marked within 2 weeks which is within the standard marking time frame of 6 weeks as published in our website and clearly stated in the student handbook. Extended marking time frame is not our normal standards in operation, and we do send notification in those very rare events.
As with the USI, all RTOs must collect a range of data from their students and report all their delivery activity (known as Total VET activity) to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER), at least annually. The annual submission is usually due by the 28th of February each year. From this submission, the Office of the Student Identifiers Registrar uses this training data to update USI transcripts no later than early May.

My intention for studying this to gain knowledge so I could best support men living with disabilities.
My intention for studying this Certificate in Individual Support was to learn about support for people with disabilities. I found the course rather focused on aged care, although a significant portion adapts across both sectors.
I found the role plays a bit pointless, and impinged on the lives of the other participants.
Feedback on the whole from trainers and markers was good, and results on the whole were fairly prompt.
The workbooks at the end, especially for my placement were old-fashioned and onerous to complete. More online capability instead of manually printing, hand writing, and rephotocopying should be the norm in this day and age.
Every spoken interaction was friendly and polite, and encouraging.
All up, I enjoyed the course. The knowledge gained gave me a little more confidence for entering the industry, and I still have my job from placement.

I signed up to do distance education
I signed up to do distance education. I found this to be a little difficult and ended up adding on two weeks of the online clusters. Wish I had done the whole course with the online trainer. Was a quicker way to get through it.
