I decided to undertake the online virtual classroom in order to complete my TAE it was four intensive weeks however with the help of a wonderful assessor Kenneth it was made enjoyable and fun.

Stressful
I found my studies with Inspire Education very stressful with the amount of content and size of the assessments.
The most stressful was trying to find somewhere to do my placement on my own, as I received feedback from a few places saying "that they don't take students unless is arranged from the Education Provider only, not from the students". The next major stress factor for not only myself but my placement supervisor was doing the paperwork and assessment book for the Practical, as some of the parts were out of my work responsibility/scope, and could not have access to due to Policy and Procedures, and the amount that had to be signed off was crazy. My supervisor has mentioned that they will not be taking on any more students from Inspire for this reason. Other students that were doing their practical at the same time as myself had no paperwork or assessments, they just needed to be signed off once the supervisor saw them complete the tasks.
I do feel the assessment book for the practical is way too much for both student and supervisor.

Inspire Education - A review for the TAE40116 course. 2021/2022…
My first experience with marking was the first lot of knowledge questions in the Design cluster.
After six weeks I contacted Inspire to see when the marking would be available .
The assessment came through the next day with no apology or explanation for the delay.
There were many spelling mistakes in the workbook and learner guide. I am a proof reader so most people would probably not notice these. I felt a thorough editing would be helpful . In one instance a reference to a particular case was incorrect, though I cannot remember the specific section .
After my first feedback to Inspire , I received no response , so felt that any more feedback was probably not of interest to the organisation.
Overall though , I think that the people I had contact with - student services, assessors etc were helpful, friendly and polite. This is a huge plus to Inspire.
In particular I would like to thank Steve Supel for overseeing week 4. He did a great job and worked very hard to see us all succeed.
Thank you all for seeing me through this process, I am grateful for the experience and the qualification.

I did the TAE upgrade as I needed it for work. I was not looking forward to it as I had to do it online. I much prefer class tuition.,
Once I finally started I found it easy to do.
I quickly realised the recordings of the classes were very useful.
I booked a booster pack that was very useful and confirmed that I was on the right track.
When I let my membership lapse JR was very helpful in sorting out access for me even after the dog ate my homework.
A very good learning experience

Great TAE
I really enjoyed studying the TAE course through Inspire. I completed the 4 week intensive workshops (over about 6months) and the trainer's were all amazing! Highly recommend!

Awful and painful
An awful experience and one that I would not recommend to anyone. This process was difficult from the onset with little to no communication about how to go about completing the TAE training and assessment course. Videos that were supposedly meant to “help” didn’t work, feedback was confusing and unclear and on some occasions I had to wait two weeks before I was even able to talk to anyone. Whilst you can call the 1800 number at anytime, you need to make an ‘appointment’ to speak to the trainers who are meant to help with the course. After being instructed by one of the trainers to request priority marking in order for my subjects to be marked quickly, on one occasion it still took 5 weeks to be marked. For the content of the course itself, I found it extremely repetitive and unhelpful. You are asked several times to do the exact same thing. The course is far too long and drags out unnecessarily, as if they are trying to make it long and painful. There was limited information given to my placement supervisor prior to taking the placement, however my placement was then marked unsatisfactory on three occasions for not for filling placement requirements (after these were not explained). I was then asked to have my supervisor signed off on by another supervisor (this was also never explained as something that would need to be done prior to commencing it). The entire experience start to finish was a painful one and I will never use this company again. Good riddance, I am glad it’s over.

Cert IV updgrade.
Cert IV updgrade.
Pre-course - The pre-course communication was excellent up until the point of payment. I had to send several emails in order to get a tax receipt sent to me as the course was work related.
Course/Training - Course information and login details etc. were not sent through until the day before the course commenced. This was a bit of a pain as you needed to download certificates etc. as a precursor to getting access to the course content.
The online training was very good, with a knowledgeable instructor who got through the required content quickly but it was not rushed. The in course communication was good and queries were replied to quickly. I can not really fault the trainer and content of the online component.
Post-course - This is where it really fell in a hole. I completed the initial first day post presentation subject (LLN) work that day. It was marked and returned prior to the end of the week. The remaining post presentation work was completed by Friday afternoon (the day the course finished). I was told that this would be marked and returned in two weeks. Two weeks later with no communication I contacted Inspire Education only to be told it would be much longer (about 6 weeks). Eventually after some more emails, the marks were completed and I had to correct a couple of minor issues and re-submit. Again an extremely long wait for marking, with poor or no communication from Inspire Education even after emailing numerous time. Eventually my marks were returned with a pass. I did at one time try to book in for a meeting with a trainer, but I would have had to wait for almost two weeks for a 15 minute appointment.....You can not book in for appointments longer than 15 minutes.
The course work book was poorly created in a format in which you could not use a search function. This causes you to manually scroll through each page in order to find what you are looking for. Further to this, the wording of the questions did not match the wording in the work book (different titles, abbreviations etc.).
If you are going to do something with Inspire, I'd suggest doing the online workshop and not the self paced learning. If you do the self paced learning I think you'll definitely have issues communicating with the course coordinators and finishing the course in the required time frame. Either way, be prepared for some frustrations after you've signed up and paid!

3.5 Stars - Great service, time not so
If I could put 3.5 stars I would. Customer Service and the support from the Trainers/Assessors was excellent. The TAE upgrade course was great with some really interesting tasks around the adult learning and assessment units.
The only thing and why it's not a higher review is the time. My course was initially for 3 months which is fine however, parts of the course require you to book in Trainer calls at certain stages and these could be in 2 - 3 weeks time which eats into the time frame you have to complete the course. Great service and work but it did at times feel like a way to get more money out of me.
Communication was also lacking here. If I'd have known what was required at the start I could have been able to plan more appropriately with the time and the calls. Bit to much waiting around and time wasted. Thanks for reading and if you do go with Inspire, be ready to book those calls in as soon as you can.

Don't study with Inspire ed Cert IV training and assessment
I am studying Certificate IV in training and assessment with inspire education. I think it was a worst decision I have made to do it with inspire. I am in my last subject and have submitted all the work. It is taking ages to get the result almost 2 months now, even though I have provided all the certificates of my supervisor whatever is needed to complete the subject. I did speak with trainers, and they said they will call me back after fixing, but I did not receive any call back, neither it got fixed. I am keep trying to talk with trainers but it is still not resolved all trainers say they will send email or call back but I did not receive anything.
I am not sure what to do, there is no place to complain regarding this matter, so I am posting it here. So at least students can see what service is provided by inspire education for the distance education students.

Thankyou
I studied the Training and Assessment course through distance learning. I enjoyed the course and appreciated the help provided by trainers. At one stage I worried that I would not be able to complete the course due to the pandemic. Inspire Education helped me cope with problems I encounted and I successfully completed the course with 2 extensions and a week long work shop.
Thankyou to the team at Inspire Education.
