Fantastic course
I started very nervous because I am a new in this environment. However as soon as I can feel comfortable and confident with my course. Trainer book call was smooth and give me a lot of information. Lovely trainers encourage and very polite guide line for me. Always consider student side, asked me more improve positively, I really satisfied this course. Trainers and accesser kindly fast response with easy to understand message. Also so many helpful tips with professional manners.
Now I just finished my course and consider to studying diploma soon. It was a fantastic supported education team.

I enrolled in an upgrade course and had to complete only a couple of units. The learning was on-line and the trainers were fantastic. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly, they made our learning fun and engaging.
The administration team were also very helpful and prompt in their responses.
You certainly get that feeling of a unified team who take pride in their work but also leaving you feeling valued.

My experience with Inspire was rather…
My experience with Inspire was rather frustrating. The virtual classroom environment is challenging and I found that a great deal of time was taken up simply filling in and saving documentation, rather than learning content. The focus becomes one of data management and organisational skills in computer filing rather than genuine subject content. The requirement for a 100% result is an exercise in futility (in my opinion) which drags the program on far too long.
Responses from the assessment team take far too long as well. If it takes me one day to rectify incorrect responses it surely should not take over ten days to assess and respond. Thank you, Craig Menzies

This comes as a surprise to us as Training and Assessment certainly is our flagship course and the course, we get most consistent positive feedback in. Clearly this has not been your personal experience.
Please know that assessment within competency-based approaches to learning, is criterion referenced. This means it identifies an individual’s achievements of defined outcomes, rather than relating their performance to that of other learners or trainees. In a competency-based training and assessment, percentile marking (30%, 50%, etc.) is not used. Students are required to demonstrate full competency in all elements of the unit they are undertaking.
We are also incredibly surprised by your comments on the marking time frame, so I had a look into your account. I can see that most of your assessments were marked within 1-2 weeks which is within the standard marking time frame of 6 weeks as published in our website and clearly stated in the student handbook. Extended marking time frame is not our normal standards in operation, and we do send notification in those very rare events.

I completed the Cert 1V TAE upgrade and…
I completed the Cert 1V TAE upgrade and found the overall course to be extremely difficult to complete via distant mode. My overall experience was very stressful despite being employed as a trainer.
I feel the 3 month timeframe to complete the course is very unrealistic, particular for those who work full time and not being able to have easy access to trainers
The trainers I did speak to were all very helpful, so i would like to thank those who did assist me, yet having access to trainers was not easy, often having to wait up to two weeks due to trainer calls already being booked in advance. Written correspondence equally took up to two days (sometimes even longer) to respond, and so you are pretty much on your own having to work things out with a limited timeframe to complete the required tasks.
I would like to be able to say something more positive, yet I would have to rate this experience as one of the most stressful courses I have ever completed.
I will not be recommending this course through inspire Education to anyone due to my own experience

Please know that with the TAE upgrade course, the 3 months duration is based on nominal hours as endorsed and developed by industry experts in conjunction with the VET industry. As a training organization we do not develop training packages; we instead have to adhere to any changes to scope and industry as mandated to us.

A mostly good experience
Most of the course was really good with supportive staff. However when trying to organise the vocational placement I asked the coordinator for help. They responded about how to dress professionally. I was asking help finding a RTO not about professional dress standards. I ended up contacting the service staff and they gave me the options I was after.

I am dumber for having done this course
Course was Cert IV in Office Admin, Correlation between "learner Guide" has about 10% of what you need to know for the assessments, the rest is up to google search.
Assessment's were confusing due to there being duplicate questions for parts of the assignments, eg Workplace pathway, Simulated pathway and Both together.
I can honestly say I did not learn a thing doing this course and feel sorry for anyone who does not already work in Admin who thinks this will teach them something about the role.
You would be better off going to Youtube or just using google to find instructional videos

TAE40116 - Review
Great facilitators and great coordination during the online sessions.
All course facilitators were extremely helpful in addressing our concerns and came well prepared.
Would have given 5 stars if the certificate of completion was put inside a 'Clear Bag' before sending through the post to avoid any damages to the certificate due to bad weather. Mine was slightly affected by water through the envelope.

Overall I would say Inspire Education…
The TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment Upgrade Course.
Overall I would say Inspire Education delivered well, all trainers were professional and very helpful. Chat through the hub was always well replied with minimal delays in getting answers to question.
The one frustrating point for me which cost a star in this review was not being aware early in commencing the online course that there were mandatory phone calls required with a trainer in the projects of the course after completing the knowledge workbook. On learning of these requirements, I realized that I should have been booking these calls weeks in advance so my progress in the course was not delayed by a two week delay in getting the trainer call bookings.
I found the recorded webinars very helpful and i would recommend all undertaking the course to take advantage of the webinars, they are very informative with good content very relevant to completing the course.
