I will be purchasing the wild caught tiger prawns again
good size and taste great

I wanted some large frozen cod fillets.
These arrived beautifully packaged and still frozen within a few days of placing my order. The fish when cooked was delicious.
Will be using again.

I was about to order from this company, then read that the scallops were dredged. Very very eco-unfriendly. Then the first couple of reviews about the condition of the fish on delivery has sealed the no-deal for me.

Firstly when my order arrived there was not adequate ice with it . The order was cool but NOT cold. I put it all immediately into the freezer. Would it not be better to transport with dry ice to keep the fish at the correct temperature?
The prawns were delicious but I am afraid the green half shell mussels were not nice at all. They were very very dry and tough we ended up throwing them away which was a shame.

Fish good quality and prompt dispatch however the Anchovy, Sardines and squid arrived nearly completely thawed out. I wrote and told the company but have, to date, had no response! Such a shame if only there had been more ice in the packaging and packed tighter instead of in a box that was far too big for the quantity. :-(

I especially recommend the king prawns, sauced from South America.

Ordered silver pomfret, good quality and great communication from the team at Jackhook seafood on the delivery of my order.

The fish and prawns were fresh and packed well.

Maybe it was no ones fault but, I placed my order 28th Jan, when I hadn't received it or any email indicating when my order would arrive, I contacted them. I received an apologetic email saying they could not send my order of cod and haddock and would send a refund.

I have now received my full refund..I just wish they would have contacted me sooner and not wait until I contacted them.

I still didn’t receive my order it’s been more than seven days

I placed an order. Never delivered although payment was refunded. No explanation given

Orders some soft shell crab from the site as always been intrigued, Jack hooks site is nice and very easy to navigate, placed my order and waited for delivery unfortunately the deliver company was pretty awful, didn't get my delivery and had to ring to find out the van driver "couldn't fit the package on the van" bearing in mind it's 4 crabs ... I asked for it to be stored in a cold place as the package was frozen sea food but it was left in the wear house and delivered the next day complety ruined ... Jack hooks sea food was very good when I rang and emailed answering me very quickly and offering a refund I asked for another order instead and it arrived perfectly with an extra crab !! Got to say the help they provided considering it was there fault the package didn't arrive was brilliant and I highly recommend them . Ps the crabs tasted amazing

I hadnt realised the fish were not descaled or gutted and there was no help forthcoming in resolving this.
