JD have taken 20 pounds off me instead of the 10 pounds for signing up, I have messaged the gym explaining the issue and have been completely ignored days later. Please send me my money back.
RESPONSE to REPLY FROM JD GYMS
I emailed the Wythenshawe gym on 26 August and have had no reply in nine days. I've also left a voicemail with no callback. This is the first response I've had from JD Gyms through any channel.
For accuracy: I was charged £10 twice on sign-up, not £20 as a single payment. One charge was authorised, the second was not.
I've now raised a dispute with my credit card provider for the duplicate charge.
I will update this review with the outcome.

Lunch time 12.30 burn followed by Abs
Good day 12.30 burn followed by Abs , taken by Jen ,the usual guy Dylan is away this week , chose a good coach willing to do Tuesday and Thursday .Dylan , is good so hard to think someone could keep up with his humour and personality , Jen was great, made sure we were all doing her workout right , Abs was also good , she told us about things to come from 14th this month so hoping it includes lunchtime Monday and Wednesday ( not spin ) . Looks like we have Friday circuit training with , Helen ,on a regular basis . I know this lady from past body pump classes .so know she is good .
Well done Chris ( manager ) you came at a tough time , let’s hope this is a new start getting Preston back on track to how it used to be ,

jd gym thornton stopping boxing padwork
I was happily using the gym with my friend for 15 months every week doing boxing padwork and weights 2 areas we are qualified in. then one day a member of staff came up to me and said you are not allowed to do padwork in the gym despite google actually stating the opposite which I showed him, I was told you are not allowed to bring in your own equipment to as we used to bring in our own gloves and pads due to the box of gloves jd supplied being a health hazard with so many people using them and the padding falling out, I have asked for them to send me the policies on what they are reffering to and got no reply

Give us new weighted machines/equipment
Im writing this review to see if the owners or management actually care about our gym? ive been a member of this gym since they took it over from exercise 4 less, its a great gym, staff are always friendly and helpful, however I think its time to actually replace the equipment. Do i need to start log dates and what machines have been broken/out of order? machines have rust/sweat built up on them, broken leather, Im sure your going to ask for a list of machines/equipment that are out of order?:
Upstairs: seating lat flys, arm has been broken and replaced, out of action for a couple of days, seated law row, cable broken, fixed but again (machines are old) seat chest press (cable was broken) fixed now.
Downstairs: belted hipthrust (broken then fixed), stand preacher curls machine, handle broken and still broken, large cable machines close to deadlift area, sometimes one side is out of action as the cable has snapped!
Its soul destroying to see all these new JD gyms opening up with brand new machines (weighted), we did have new cardio machines, NOW its time for new weighted machines like they have in Cwmbran and Cardiff, why are you leaving out Newport?
its disheartening that your opening brand new gyms instead of taking care of this one.

Great gym very spacious
Great gym very spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good price and great 24hr access. Good parking and great location. The only downside is dealing with the central office for freezing fees when on holiday etc - just dire slow customer service

Good gym great equipment only thing that’s not good is you can’t get in changing rooms in certain hours for some who does late shifts it’s not the most helpful thing but apart from that no faults

Our Warrington gym is open 24hours and throughout the night, our accessible changing room is open should you need to get changed or grab a shower. We do close some areas (i.e the main changing rooms and saunas) for the safety of our members but our accessible facilities offer complete privacy!

There is a good amount of equipment in the gym, including the sauna. Can get pretty busy at times or even if it's not it can be hard to get on equipment sometimes, but thats just gyms I guess. Staff and PTs are always really friendly and ready to help, good crack as well. Decent atmosphere, music etc

Only joined a week ago, but impressed with the amount of equipment available, even when it's busy there is plenty to use. The gym itself is clean and airy (although, as always in any gym, the free weights are often in disarray - but this is down to members!). Haven't used the toilet or changing facilities yet so can't comment. Occasionally the door doesn't open when scanning the QR code and it can take a while, but other than that, everything is great.

Best gym in West London
I've been going to this gym for 7 or so years, and it's been amazing since, especially since it transitioned into jd gyms, the atmosphere is amazing, aesthetic is cleannn, and the staff and pts are wonderful.

Overpriced and basic
The equipment is the oldest I’ve ever seen and I’ve been using gyms for the past 25 years. I’ve never seen a member off staff, machines don’t get cleaned and the benches are far too close together to be able to workout without avoiding the person next to you. This is not worth £30 a month

Dim lights and changing rooms timing
I don’t agree with the dim light theme also why the changing rooms are locked during night time?? These two things irritates me a lot and I might not consider another month
