It was our first experience getting a mortgage and we had no clue what to expect. Ryan Waters was recommended by a friend. He is an absolute star. He was able to explain everything in a simple but comprehensive way to help us choose the best option. Later on we had a rocky road with our purchase with 8 months between our offer being accepted and completion. Ryan was there for us at every stage and was able to make time to speak to us and provide guidance and reassurance when we needed it. He was also able to refer us to other specialized services as needed which was really helpful. We will definitely use JLM services again and we can't recommend it highly enough.

I can’t recommend JLM highly enough. From the get go my advisor Gareth was brilliant to work with. His knowledge and ability to articulate said knowledge in a clear way meant that I felt at ease the whole time. Anything I wasn’t sure about he was always there to help and answer. I was given consistent updates and everything was professionally handled.

As a first-time buyer and quite niave about the process, there seemed to be everyone trying to offer mortgages for you after every viewing and made me not want to use them as they all seemed to give the same sales pitch. I am a solo buyer looking to purchase my first home, and a friend recommended JLM Mortgages to me. I sent an initial enquiry email and received a response that night, with an appointment booked for the next morning! In the first appointment with Gareth, I had my financial review and we talked about my goals now and any potential future plans. This gave me the confidence that Gareth really wanted me to make the best decisions for me now but that would also set me up perfectly for the near future. No time was wasted and we began the process there and then!

I really enjoyed working with Gareth, he took the time to explain things to me and broke down the future projections and consequences of the decisions to be made. Dan was brilliant! He really helped with our remortgage. This was our first one so didn’t really know how it all worked. Dan found the best deals at the time and gave us all the options we’d asked for. Never put any pressure on us and answered every question we had throughout. Dan Eastoe was great! He was incredibly knowledgable about the market and the process, and also easy to get hold of. We applied for our mortgage at a time of turbulence in the market, where lenders were pulling their products as a result of the governments mini budget in September, and Dan acted at pace to get our mortgage application submitted before the product was pulled, securing us a lower rate, of which we are very grateful. He also recommended us a brilliant solicitor.
