No warning that items are final sale

I tried to return multiple items from my order. I was not able to return many of them. It said “final sale” on the return page. I thought I made a mistake but Even looking at the website now it says the items are on sale but nothing about final sale. It lists the return policy but doesn’t mention the fee charged or that sale items are final. I even added the items to my cart again to see if it would warn me about final sale and nothing came up. Websites who have a good reputation and get repeat customers do not trick you into owning items you have no use for.

Bad quality and overpriced

Quality of material has changed massively. Patterned suits wear quickly and stretch which is not advertised. material has faded and does not retain size. Customer service it bad. Have previously brought suits from them and been extremely happy with them but recently repurchased two and quality is awful. Have had one suit for 5 years with minimal stretching and wear but now looking to replace my new costumes 4 months after purchase due to stretching. Customer service admitted that patterned material wears faster which is not disclosed on website. Quality of costume used to match the price paid, which is no longer the case. Will not be buying from them again.

Size charts are awful, no exchanges, return policy is bad.

The size charts do not produce the proper results. I ordered for my daughter’s swim team based on the chart and it was way off. They offer no exchanges, returns only, and charge an exorbitant return shipping fee with no option other than to pay their crazy fee. I would never shop here willingly and hopefully our swim coach will be wiser and choose another shop next year. I do not ant all recommend.

Inaccurate sizing, terrible return policy

This company does not make swim suits for women with large bust sizes. Their sizing guidelines are way off, they take a long time to process an order and ship and then penalize you for returning anything that does not fit. I lost $15 on a return that I did not wear, shipped back immediately and now have to buy the top in another size hoping it fits so I have a matching top to my bottom. I will do this once and then never buy from this company again. So disappointing.

There is no customer service telephone…

There is no customer service telephone number. You can contact Jolyn via email only. Shop app took over the payment with my old address when I clicked to purchase. There is only an email address under Contact on Jolyn's website.. I sent an email and I sent a message via Instagram for delivery address to be changed immediately. . I got an email after five days that the swimsuit was shipped already. No logistics, no customer service! Poorly run business!!! I wish I could review the swimsuit. I never received it.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service


I am extremely disappointed with the customer support I received from Jolyn. Initially, they agreed to provide me with a refund for a damaged product, which gave me some hope that the issue would be resolved promptly. The bathing suit top had a hole right in the center of the suit seam. However, after that initial agreement, the company completely ghosted me.

Despite numerous follow-up emails and attempts to contact them, I have received no response. It has been 2 months, and I am still waiting for any acknowledgment or resolution. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable and incredibly frustrating.

I expected better service and professionalism from Jolyn. This experience has been highly disappointing, and I would caution others to be wary of their customer support. I hope this review helps others make informed decisions before purchasing from this company.

Too small and shipping takes too long

Our local junior lifeguard program orders team suits through this company. This is the second season we ordered through them and both experiences have been poor. Last year the sizing was way off - too small for my tiny 9 year old. This year I took a chance with the sizing but I still haven't received any information on the shipping despite ordering almost 3 weeks ago. I can't seem to track the order without shipping info. The tournament season has started already and I fear it will be over by the time the suit arrives. I doubt I will order from them again next year. Will just buy a plain suit and the logo added locally.

They charge for returning items

This company charges you money just to return an item, PLUS the shipping back to them (not an option to do your own postage). With so so many companies out there that have quality products that DON'T charge for returning and make it much easier, I wouldn't buy from this one ever again. Customer service is bad and I should have done more homework before I ordered. We will see how long it takes to get my refund.

I ordered suits on March 3

I ordered suits on March 3, 2024...never received them but the full amount $158.08 was taken out of my account. I have emailed customer service SEVERAL times with the order number and NO REPLY. This is bad customer service, and I am ready to go one step further to get my money back.

Great suits and customer service.

I love these suits! They are cute, comfortable, and can be worn for any event. One of my suits did get damaged, and so I emailed Jolyn...They responded within a few days and sent another suit of my choice free of charges! I highly recomend Jolyn swimwear because they are suitable for both racing and everyday swimming! Thank you Jolyn!

Yet Again, Terrible Customer Service

I ordered a suit back in April, to which I exchanged for a larger size because their size guide was wildly inaccurate. Upon receiving the newly sized suit in May, I decided to return it for a partial refund but the refund never showed. I'm out $53 bucks and have nothing to so for it. I'm really disappointed in the way the business has been handling these situations and it's clearly been an issue for years.

Jolyn swimwear rocks!

Jolyn swimwear rocks! Their suits fit great, last long, and look awesome. They've got tons of cool designs, and colours. Plus, their customer service is top-notch. I recently mixed up my ordered and their team got it sorted out within a couple of minutes. If you want great swim gear, go for Jolyn!

No full refund

The sizing was completely off. I should have bought a swimsuit 3 sizes up. I returned it hoping I could exchange it or get a FULL refund, but that is not possible. I lost $14 returning it, which made me not want to buy another suit. They need to figure out an exchange policy or just give the full refund.

Bad quality

The bottom of my daughter’s bikini got pill in only after 5 wears, she didn’t sit on concrete/rocky pool, rubbing against lane dividers, leaning against the internal surface of the pool or anything like that!

Pretty disappointed as they are very expensive so you will expect good quality

Poor fitting and not quality

UK purchase. Ordered 2 costumes with different fabrics. Also bought two different sizes as never purchased from Jolyn before. Paid £11 per costume in shipping. No choice in delivery just a very expensive
delivery cost.
Both costumes are poor fitting and fabric does not feel nearly as good quality of some of the other brands. Every other of the many costumes my daughter has is one or other of the sizes I ordered so it’s not like I don’t know what they should fit like!
As stated by another reviewer, I then had to pay £9 per costume to return.
All in all a very expensive mistake and I will not be ordering from Jolyn again.

Totally Untrustworthy

I placed 2 orders and was waiting for my suits. Nothing from the company - I then contacted customer service - such strange timing...as I was chatting with customer service, both of my orders were cancelled 10 days after having placed them. How can you accept an order if you can't fulfill it? This is the SECOND time this has happened. Buyer beware...just because you place an order, like one does with normal companies, there is NO guarantee that it will arrive. Totally untrustworthy.

Wish I had read this review before I…

Wish I had read this review before I ordered my Jolyns.
I have been a loyal customer for the last 15 years, but the last time I ordered something was about 5 years ago, and it lasted me this entire time. I needed an upgrade so while I was home in Canada for the summer I ordered some new suits from the US. Not only was it incredibly expensive, I then got charged almost an extra $100 for duty fees. Now I shook it off and said whatever, Jolyn is awesome, i'll have these suits for the next 5 years...2 months later, after wearing it maybe 10 times, the stitching came out. And i'm not even saying it ripped, because the thread is still attached, literally the thread just came out of it's stitches and I now have a loop of thread hanging off my suit. Clearly something has happened to Jolyn in the last few years, but their fabric is terrible and their customer service is even worse, i've sent several emails which have all gone unanswered.
Best advice is to go with another brand that is way cheaper, because at least you won't be paying an arm and a leg for something that lasts two months.

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE. I ordered two Jolyn bathing suits to Canada and it cost me over $200 CND. I payed shipping on the website as well. When they arrived, I was forced to pay an additional $30 to receive my item as it was NOT dropped off at my house!!! The bathing suits are poor quality and the size is not accurate! I even sized up!!! The bathing suit was so small it did not cover my entire chest! I even tried pulling it past my hips and it was too short! The material feels so cheap and the stitching was already coming off before trying it on! This is a scam.
