Returns aren't refunded

I used to be a loyal customer because of the quality of the bathing suits, but not any more. The customer service is so terrible, it's not worth the trouble! I sent a return for a refund (in the original packaging, as requested), and 6 weeks after their warehouse received it I still haven't been refunded. Completely unacceptable!

Same story different customer

Same story different customer! I ordered a swimsuit form Jolyn in mid July 2022. The suit was to small. I initiated a return, sent my item back on 8/11/2022 to which they received my return on 8/13/2022. It’s been so long I turned to USPS to make sure the package was delivered. Also after numerous emails and the same lame reply’s back from Jolyn I’m no closer to a refund 75.00 dollars and no merchandise. Over 6weeks, Sounds like a good scam for their business.

Returns are a scam

I made a purchase from Jolyn on 7/4/22 for $158.04. This order, #JOLYN114529 arrived on 7/12/22 and I tried on the items. The sizing was very off based on the measurements on their website so I decided to return most of the items, since they had a return policy listed. My return credits came out to $124.50, minus $10.85 shipping label fee, resulting in an expected refund of $113.90. Accepting that my action of returning the items I had purchased would result in a refund, I chose to proceed with the return. I was under the expectation that doing so would happen on a reasonable timeline. My package was listed as delivered on July 27th, well within the 30 day return window. I communicated with Jolyn customer service about the return on 8/4/22, 8/16/22, 8/18/22, 9/1/22, and 9/11/22 and have seen no progress. I was first told to wait 1-3 weeks. I’ve since been told they have changed their return process and are processing all returns manually in the order they were received. I have been given no specific timeline of when to expect my return, and it has now been two months. I would either like for my return to be processed, or for the items to be sent back to me so I can sell them secondhand myself since this is ridiculous.

Waiting for Two Suits

Hi, my 16yr old daughter spend her birthday money purchasing two suits from Jolyn. We are trying to contact the company to find out where the package is, as she place the order on 9/4 and it is now 9/21. I have communicated via customer email and have received two emails asking if we had the correct address. And I have messaged on FB and received no communication. I cannot believe this level of customer service is deemed acceptable by this company.

Like many others the returns are an absolute joke. It’s not surprising you can’t call to talk to anybody. I mailed back an order on 8/12/22. My order was delivered to the company on 8/19/22. Today is 9/20/22 and my return still hasn’t been processed. This isn’t my first negative return experience but it’s by far the worst. I absolutely will never buy anything directly from Jolyn again. Ever. Seriously, ever.

Never in my life have I ever seen so…

Never in my life have I ever seen so many people write in for the EXACT SAME REASON AS ME!! I reached out to customer service and got a response saying “Once delivered to our Returns department, please allow an additional 1-3 weeks for your return to be processed and refunded. We receive hundreds of returns daily and our Returns department does their best to sort through them as quickly as possible.” That I’ll receive an email notification when that occurs.
They claimed I would receive a refund within 1-3 business days… it’s now been 4 weeks and nothing! So that’s a lie, and feels like a scam! My refund needs to be processed now, or I have no other choice than to report this as FRAUD.

UPDATE: Sept. 15th - a rep, Jay, reached out to manually process my refund.
Sept 17th - the original CS rep, Mae, replied back to me saying she “was gone, but now back & ready to help. But I see your refund has already been processed.”
Sept 18th - refund officially hits my bank

I’d give no stars if I could

I’d give no stars if I could. I am currently experiencing the same issue tons of other customers are experiencing with the refund “delay”. PLEASE do better, Jolyn. Your swimsuits are great quality but your accounting department is severely lacking. I am also short of at least $75 in my bank because of you guys. Please do better, please.

Return system is "down" is an excuse they've been using for a while now

First they said their return system was down, then it was back up, now they are saying this:

"We appreciate your patience, and our team is aware of the issue. We are currently working through processing all returns manually in the order that they were received, and are doing our best to process these as efficiently and timely as possible. Once your return is processed, you’ll receive a detailed email with your refund details."

They've had the returned suit since July 30.
And their website states: The refund will be processed within 2-3 business days and the original form of payment will be refunded.

Debating legal action. This is not ok.

UPDATE TO REPLY BELOW: I can reply to your request for information via Trustpilot's request. Better yet, feel free to respond to PayPal's request for information regarding my claim. Even better, make good on all your emails to me promising a refund. If you really want more information about the situation per your reply, feel free to check in with your customer service department instead of requesting information from Trustpilot.

I would rate a 0 if I had the option: Scammers

I would rate a 0 if I had the option. This company has written fraud all over it.

I purchased one bathing suit based on my measurements and when I received it, the bathing suit was too small. They don’t have an exchange option only returns (which charges you a lot to return). I decided to reorder another bathing suit and decided I no longer wanted to deal with the hassle so I emailed them to cancel my order. Following the instructions they state via website about canceling orders, they still charged my card. I have returned all bathing suits and only received $22 back. I purchased a total of 5 bathing suits and that is all I received back from this POS of a company. Where is the integrity of companies now a days!? Absolutely absurd. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BUYING, POOR QUALITY, SCAMMERS!

This company is a total scam

This company is a total scam. I sent back two returns, one of them over 6 weeks ago, the other a month ago and I have yet to receive a refund. I am currently out $250 that I am extreme stressed I will never get back at this point. Their customer service is the absolute worst I have ever experienced in my life. I had a question recently that I sent 3 follow up emails about and they still never responded. They say to be patient because they are a small company, but being a small company does not mean it is okay for you to steal money from your customers by not honoring the return policy stated on the website. I genuinely would not be surprised if they are intentionally difficult about returns in order to steal money from their customers. I like their products but I am NEVER spending another dollar at Jolyn. Please save yourself time, stress, and money, and do not buy anything from them. It is not worth it.

Jolyn received my return SIX weeks ago

Jolyn received my return SIX weeks ago. I have yet to be refunded for my return. I contacted the company via email, apparently the only way to get a hold of anybody, and was told this is due to a “system change.” Their website clearly states refunds are processed within 1 to 3 business days. Never buying from this company again.

I'VE HAD IT!

I have spent so much time, money and effort trying to get one top and one bottom that fit. After finding out how the return policy works with my first return of a pair of way too small bottoms (I normally wear an xs/s and ended up wearing a LARGE)...the next order I placed to get bottoms that fit included THREE bottoms (one M and two L in different styles...the L's fit completely different size-wise...the inconsistency is insane). BUT I ordered three at once hoping ONE would fit. It did, but then the first time I wore the top and bottom at a pool party I was kinda resting my arms on a boogie board and the whole front of my bikini top is RUINED (I thought this stuff was made for water sports anyway!). It picked like crazy. I used a fuzz eater and it put a hole in the top it was so bad. SO I just ordered a new top and I'm just going to be extra careful with what I do in it. I felt so invested after purchasing one top that is ruined and a total of FOUR bottoms that I just want to be able to wear it at this point. UGH. I will NEVER buy anything from this company again. Not to mention you can't even search all of the colors in the filter. I got strawberry and it's not even listed. So you have to look at EACH one to see if it's available in that color. I'm beyond annoyed. I never really write reviews like this either. I'd rather spend more money somewhere else.

Customer service is Horrific-- LIES

Customer service is extremely disappointing. I have been a customer with Jolyn for years and have bought many suits for the swim team but I have been lucky that they always fit, the return process is very inconvenient and having the customer pay for the shipping label discourages me from wanting to place another order. The fact that you don't do exchanges also does the same thing. As a customer, it feels like you don't want to sell us products. The customer service email is trash, they are very unhelpful and are not willing to allow you to exchange anything for another size if it doesn't fit. you have to buy it again (if you got it on sale now you have to pay full price, and pay the 8$ shipping fee for the first order 6$ fee for the return, and AGAIN 8$ for the new item. I have always supported the brand but after this experience, I can no longer say that I would recommend buying from them again.

UPDATE
After writing this review they decided to reach out to me and give me a refund for the return shipping and allow me to re-purchase at the same price. However, it has now been over a month since I returned this item and no refund has reached my account. The website says it will take 2-3 days and when I emailed after that they said 1-3 weeks. It has now been well past both of those deadlines. I had hoped after they reached out to me, but once again I am very disappointed.

Pro Surfing Community Help

You have to hit one star to make a review.
This company is a scam. There is no customer service phone number.
The only way to communicate is via an email with customer service in the same country where Jolyn is located. When you send an email to customer service the response sends you back to the Jolyn website.
Buyer beware
If your a Pro Surfer why would you want to be involved with a company that has no care,respect, nor customer support for its customers??

Dumb business model

The measurement guide on the website is off. They don't do exchanges. Getting store credit offers no benefits. One of the worst spammers I've ever encountered in email. But they can't answer your emails, I'm guessing they get a lot since their business model doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Had I been able to get an exchange, they'd have gotten my sale. Since it was a whole dam process they wanted to drag out til the end of summer and their price increase they lost my sale and I spent double elsewhere.

Scam Artists

Horrific experience with this company. It is a scam and they have been purposely stealing money from customers for years now under the guise of “problems with their refund system.” They have literally said this to customers since at least 2020 and it’s still happening. You follow their return policy, the email you informing you they will refund to your original form of payment, then wait a few months (so that you can’t dispute it with your credit card company), then claim they had some issue and insist you accept store credit, then refer to the store credit as a refund which it is not. Then they condescend you and say that you’re “frustrated” because “things didn’t work out as you expected.” They could simply mail a check or do a PayPal transfer, and if they were an honest company that’s what they’d do. They get bad reviews taken down by claiming their review site is only for their flagship store and that all bad reviews are for their online company.

This is the worst experience dealing with an online retailer.
I try to cancel order within minutes and there is no way for me to do that, I asked to change the order, there is no way, I emailed to cancel the order, sorry it’s too late..
And now Jolyn has audacity to tell me that I can return but I will have to pay the return shipping.
Why this business is so arrogant? Do they have any place for customer service?
