I wish I had read reviews before…

I wish I had read reviews of the company before buying. Their size chart is way off. Suits run 1-2 sizes smaller than the measurements listed on the chart. Customer service is inane, refusing to acknowledge the deep problems in their deceptive sizing. Even though too-small suits are their fault, and even though customer service eventually admitted that the chart is wrong, they will not refund shipping to you, or return shipping. They do not facilitate exchanges at their expense. They call themselves a small athlete-owned business. It seems more like an experienced shyster-run racket. These problems have been going on for a while.

terrible.

I ordered a suit on September 27th 2021, it first did not ship when I was told it was going to ship. Then once I received it, it was far too small. I have shopped their many times in the past and I bought the same size and it was just far too small. So i returned it. I placed it in the mail October 11th. I was told 2 weeks before I would see my return (store credit, because at the time I was planning to get the next size-maybe 2 sizes more). I emailed several times over the course of 2 months. Each time the same person saying the same thing. Sorry! Give us 2 weeks! Nope!!! I just got my return DECEMBER 9th 2021. And to compensate for their mistake they sent me 15% off coupon in november but that expired December 1st, what was the point? I couldn’t even use it. Never ever shopping here again. Sold the gift card to a friend in discount because I didn’t want it anymore. Done with this company.

Terrible return policy, do not recommend

They have a terrible return policy and their sizing guide is not accurate. The return window begins from day of purchase rather than day of delivery, and with a short return window of 30 days and frequent shipping delays due to covid the window is significantly shorter or possibly non-existent if your delivery is delayed (mine was two weeks). The worst part is that they won't even let me exchange the suits for the correct size so I am stuck paying for two bikinis that don't fit me. I would never order from this company ever again and I do not recommend them to others.

Like the quality but not sure if I can order again

A friend who I surf with told me about Jolyn bcuz I asked how she kept her bottom on when we have bigger waves..lol. I was sold on their bottoms has a "DRAWSTRING"
I placed my order July 16 (if over $75 is free shipping) I received order July 26.
My order was three items (2 bottoms size S n 1 top size M) based on their model size.
My Andy bottom size small fit but the Moonlight bikini size small was more like a little girl's bottom.
I reached out to them about returning the Moonlight bottom and also let them know that the bottom they send was not only too small but it didn't have the DRAWSTRING! I have to pay to return which they less it from the price of the item also My bad I didn't read the return policy which "YOU GET UR STORE CREDIT IN 45 DAYS!

Beware of Jolyn's advertisement of UPS…

Beware of Jolyn's advertisement of UPS 2nd Day Air shipping for which you will pay an extra $21.40 and that is actually NOT 2nd day shipping. After letting Jolyn know that my package had not been delivered in 2 days (after shipping), I was simply told that their 2nd Day Air delivery takes anywhere from 2 - 4 days. All in all, I placed my order very early in the morning on Friday, July 16 and I finally received my package on July 26 - 10 days later - even after paying $21.40 for express 2nd day shipping.

You don't get the full price of a return item…

You don't get the full price of an item when you return your item. They charge $10 for your return label fee saying this is their return policy. This policy isn't show clearly in their website or in a return information card that comes with purchase. While all companies are extending their return policy in COVID19 environment with full return, JOLYN has this policy which is a huge disappointment!

The suits are great but the shipping sucks

The suits are great and are long-lasting but you are better off purchasing off of amazon or in person at a store that sells the suits. Ordering them directly from their website is a hassle - they use UPS for the initial portion of deliver and then opt for USPS to deliver their products to the final destination which then results in your order getting significantly delayed or lost. They are unwilling to use UPS solely to ship their product and tell you to just keep waiting.

Suit is bright and colourful, but TINY

Suit is bright and colourful, came in a good amount of time. Shipping a bit pricey.

But the SIZE. Woo boy, these suits are made for children. The sizing chart is confusing, but consulted it, looked at the model’s dimensions and sizes and order what I thought might be close to an XL? I wear a size 12, typically. It is TINY. Very high cut in the hips, very low cut in the bust. I don’t think I would be able to wear this in public. Also, while lap swimming, it felt so tight. And then it weirdly bunches and is loose in the waist.

Would not recommend.

I have never written a review for anyone…

I have never written a review for anyone much less a bad review. I have a competitive swimmer, with tens of bathing-suits that do not fit. We signed up for this new company, and been told about a rare sale. Unfortunately that evening I fell asleep, but as I woke up I have seen an e-mail the sale was extended, so I went online, and spent 30 minutes shopping I had two bathing-suits in my cart the kids were around me happy and yelling, we put the sale promo in "jobogo", and took $30 dollars off my order. I have put my address, and refreshed to put the payment info my total was $90 some for two suits, free shipping!!. When I refreshed the page, the code was gone, and I was charging now $128 plus shipping $7. Somehow the website refreshed at 0900 am EST! right in the middle of my purchase. The girls were so disappointed! I said I would buy only one bathing-suit. But now only one, would cost over $70!!! and that within just minutes.
I looked at the coupon and it said 12pm. I am thinking they must have left it on for few more hours? Not sure what happened... so I looked for a phone number- nothing. I sent two e-mails, no response... no customer service!!!
It is false advertising! and truly this mirage of coupons that tricks us in following them all the time is so against our busy life.
Now I have a choice, disappoint my girls(now it is fashion to buy JOLYN on the pool deck) or do not buy from a company that is so misleading in its promotional practices. Such a bitter story... so useless.. for $40 to leave an otherwise easy customer with such a bad taste. If I had it all in my cart, why don't you let me purchase it? Was it such a big deal? And if I wasn't supposed to buy it in the first place at that price, why don't you take the sale down when you said you would, so I do not spend my time shopping when it expired? Why do you lead me into spending my time on something that doesn't exist?

Bad return and shipping policy

My complaint is about the return and shipping policies.

We bought a bikini based on the size charts provided on the site. We paid for shipping.

They did not fit. On the return, we have to pay for return shipping and if we want a replacement we have to pay for shipping again. That is $17 in just shipping.

Get the sizing right on the web site to begin with and we would not face this problem.

I ordered Jolyn for the first time…and it was terrible

I ordered Jolyn for the first time after thinking about it for awhile, and I have had a terrible experience with their customer service. They don't even have a phone line to speak to anyone on- how can that be? What kind of company doesn't have a phone line?

The girl I have gone back and forth with via email doesn't answer my questions and only gives me robotic generic feedback. Then when I asked for a manager she kept asking if she could help and I repeatedly asked for a manager and have not ever been put in touch with one. Very bad service. At this point I would never order from them again. I'm very disappointed.

In response to a bad review on Facebook, they told me my items were not returnable. One of my items is in fact returnable, however, and in any case, I'd still like to speak to a manager and have never been connected with one, to this day.
