I telephoned with a query prior to ordering and the information provided ( by Jade I think ?) was very helpful.

True Origin is a very impressive, ethical company, which sources the food it sells from a range of suppliers, with whom they establish a relationship. A large proportion of their stock is Fairtrade and /or with sustainable and ethical credentials, which really matters to me. I also love the fact that much of what they sell is different to the tins and jars you can buy at any supermarket- being able to buy really delicious pineapple or apple jams, for example at a reasonable price and with the awareness that the producers have received a fair wage and have good working conditions is wonderful!

Absolutely loved the product launch Live Tasting event, was so good to hear directly from the two featured producer groups about their story and impact, as well as showcasing some of the products themselves. Couldn't help but immediately order caseloads of our favourites, which arrived rapidly in great condition. We've already enjoyed more of the Basil Cayenne Pesto, which has a lovely balance of flavours with just the right amount [and duration!] of heat to it. Trying to make it last, but that could be rather a challenge. Looking forward to finding many partners for the Spicy Mango Chutney too, and that's as a not-usually-chutney-fans household. The fruity spicy sweetness of this one is great though.
