Professional, thorough and friendly service. Would strongly recommend.

I have been a patient at Leightons for 20+ years and in that time my eye sight and requirements have changed. I have been given superb advice as to which products to try and have always found the Wokingham team friendly, professional and patient.

It was easy to make an appointment - just phoned and spoke to a ‘real’ person. I felt very safe and at ease with the restrictions put in place regarding the measures for COVID. The hygiene measures couldn’t be faulted. The test was comprehensive and the results of the retinal images were explained clearly and questions answered clearly. I can recommend them.

I only went in for a frame repair; one of my arms had come adrift by “snapping off” half way down at a weld, I guess. Expecting this to have to await a replacement part from Italy, I was nonplussed that a whole new replacement arm was fixed within five minutes. What luck they had a spare pair of identical frames in their repair shop!

First rate service - but probably more by luck than anything else; but who cares; one very happy punter.

And a hearing test
I was under the impression that it would be a full hearing test for my £95
Your operative said as we had time she’d do a full hearing test meaning that it would not of been a full test normally
She then proceeded to sell me hearing aids even tho I had no decernable issues with my hearing
A bit disappointed as felt you were using my visit to sell me hearing aids I clearly didn’t need

My appointment was for a problem with Ear wax which was dealt with brilliantly and complemented with a hearing test which was conducted professionally and fully explained to make me aware of any issues now or what I should do for the future. I never felt under any pressure to spend money that was not appropriate and I would fully recommend the service provided by Olivia. (Wokingham branch.)

I have had 2 appointments with Olivia.
The first was for removal of wax. I have only had this done 3 times before. Each time the technology has been different. Olivia chose to use suction. She explained the procedure, performed the suction, and then performed a test and explained the results. She also identified a condition which needed to be referred to my GP. The whole experience was kind, well-explained and efficient. Thank you Olivia.
I was pleasantly surprised, and relieved, that Leightons offered this wax-removal service. My GP practice stopped doing this a few years ago, even before Covid19.

The second appointment was a follow-up exam, again well-explained and well-performed. I left with hearing aids to try out.....
I am currently trialling them. Further appointment next week.
