Absolutely abhorrent behaviour. Called these amongst a bunch of others to enquire for a friend. Had yet to receive a postcode so the guy said call back when I had it. In this time another, cheaper loc... See more

SCAM ARTISTS - AVOID!!!
SCAM ARTISTS! Our front door mechanism was stuck and wouldn’t open and so I called this company to come out. Was charged £49 to be told it was broken and to get it to open they would need to drill in various points through the front door and then would need a new mechanism. Was told as an estimate that to do that would cost at least £700 on top
of the £49 and would be left with a damaged door. Went elsewhere, managed to get in through the door in under an hour without drilling and cost under £200 incl new parts. Told the other locksmith about Local Locksmith 24-7 saying that the door would have to be drilled and he laughed, saying he’d never had to drill through a door in the 20+ years he had been doing the job. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
Definitely avoid
Definitely avoid. one of their locksmiths came round and tried to quote me £500 for two new locks. When i said no i wasnt paying that, he came down to £300 (still extortionate) i told him no, to which he told me to f off and picked up his bag and went away. I then got another locksmith out who did entire job for £150.
AVOID! SCAMMERS!! AVOID!!
Forgot my keys at work and didn’t realise till I got home. Me being lazy I called a locksmith and the guy on the phone quoted £49 if it’s a simple job. The locksmith turns up and before he even attempts to open the door he says it’s a £50 call out fee, and £100 to open the door + VAT. I called back the helpline and the same guy picked up (I could tell by his lack of customer service it was the same guy) and he tried to pretend like it wasn’t him and refused to speak to me. I was so frustrated at this point that I agreed to £110 total and nothing more, no VAT. Locksmith agreed! Locksmith pretends to attempt to open the door.. and then tries to throw some technical lingo at me as if I understand the how locks work.. so I said to my dad who was there that it would cost cheaper to get a cab and go to work and pick up my keys and get a cab back than paying this guy… and then all of a sudden the door pops open. The reason I knew this was a simple job was because 5 months ago I locked myself out and I got a locksmith over and it took him 5 seconds to open the door, just put some thin piece of card down the side and door popped open and charged me £89. Avoid this company!!! They are a bunch of SCAMMERS!
Never, Never use this company-
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- THEY RIP YOU OFF
The problem with being locked out of your home is that you don't check Trustpilot before you call a locksmith. Because if my wife had, she would have never employed this company.
After driving me to the emergency room at St. George's hospital, my wife and son found they were locked out of our home.
With me being out of contact, she used GOOGLE to find an emergency locksmith and came across this company. She called them and a fitter turned up and quoted her £335 inc. vat. to gain entry but hey, your locked out so just pay it and move on.
The fitter then gain entry to our home
and he offered to replace the ERA night latch lock. As we had been burgled 18 months ago, my wife agreed without being told the costs. When the lock was fitted, he then charged £1,464 inc. vat. That's £1,129 to replace a lock that can be bought for £65 plus vat and fitted in 15 mins. No mention of the cost until the works were finished.
We only discovered that another company, UK Top Notch Services Ltd carried out the work on my return from hospital. If you go on the Companies House website, you can see the only Director and owner is Mr Ionut Gabriel Moisi.
This company is preying on the weak, scared and vulnerable customers in society and charging exorbitant amounts when more reputable companies wouldn't.
I have called them several times, and they have offered a refund, but nowhere near enough so I'll be carrying out a dispute claim with American Express (luckily my wife used her credit card), calling Trading Standards as others have, but also calling the Metropolitan Police who they name check on their website.
Very bad company making fool
I didn’t read the reviews for this company before calling them. I was stuck and need locksmith and they quoted me £45 and charged me £150 and then not answering the phone. They making fool and taking advantage.
Avoid at all costs, they use intimidation
Avoid avoid, they took advantage of our neighbour while we were away. She felt threatened and ended up paying them £1071 from her own money - she just wanted to get out of a vulnerable situation. The amount charged was for entry and entire new lock. We have returned to find he only replaced the barrel, very badly. Absolutely disgusting. We’re fighting to get our money back and will take it further than that. We all need to report them, so that they can no longer trade. Don’t go anywhere near them. Thanks to those who have already given good information about them, we are using this.
Completely unethical company
Completely unethical company using Google ads to get on top of the search.
They prey on people locked out to extort a thousand pound from them. They will tell you your door is a fire escape door and quote outrageous prices, and tell you they need to drill your security lock (security locks have anti drill protection, so that's a complete lie) and replace the lock with a very expensive one (that you can find for a bargain).
Avoid. At all cost.
Awful company
Awful company, quoted us £90 and then proceeded to charge £300, and screamed at us when we couldn’t afford it.Had to pay and now can’t afford a food shop this week. Horrific. Stay miles clear
PLEASE DO NOT USE!!!!
PLEASE DO NOT USE!!!!
They quoted me £45 on the phone and then proceeded to charge me over £200 inside my house for a 10 minute job. They completely manipulated the situation and took advantage of the fact I didn't know any better. I sought advice after and now know that this service should not have costed me more than £50. The man did not even fix the lock he only broke it to gain access, he then quoted me another £145 for a new lock (and told me to call him directly to avoid VAT charges through the company). I then called the company to complain and they blocked my number and have not replied to any of my emails.
Extremely unprofessional, please avoid at all costs to save yourself from a similar situation.
never call them, they are scammers, they don't know the job
hi, I had the misfortune of forgetting my key in the house, I called a specialist locksmith in Maidstone, I was told on the phone that it would cost around 49, a specialist came, told me that it would cost me 160, he broke the old lock, put a new one, I paid and left, after that I closed the door and the door I was stuck in after a few minutes, I was stuck, I was in. the guy came back i told him it was his fault he broke the lock again but this time the nightlatch which works perfectly also broke my door he put a very cheap nightlatch on me he asked me to pay 50 pounds in cash i paid he was very nasty he broke the lock and the mechanism now the door shakes me it helps me closes well i have a key price and proof, in the end I paid 210, I was left with a broken door,
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Local locallocksmiths-247. This locksmith service is nothing but a bunch of con artists who are trying to rip off unsuspecting customers for an exorbitant amount of money.
Firstly, their response time was ridiculously slow. We were locked out of our own office, desperate for assistance, and we called them help. They promised to be with us within 20 min and they showed up after 40 min.
Now, here comes the pricing. They suggested £300 for the job as its an emergency service. As soon as the technician suggested a lock replacement, added percentage for the job and the VAT he tried quoting us £5000!!!. they were trying to exploit our desperate situation to make a few extra grand for a 30 min job!!
Refusing to be taken advantage of, we checked the prices of the locks online which came down to £40 max and finally managed to talk down the price £800.
When we confronted the company about their outrageous quote, they claimed their prices were justified due to lock security and the fact the door serves as a fire escape. The reality is that they are just preying on vulnerable customers with their unethical tactics.
In conclusion, I urge everyone to avoid this company at all costs. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and their primary goal is to scam you out of your hard-earned money. There are plenty of honest and reliable locksmith services out there; this one is definitely not one of them. Spare yourself the headache and avoid this nightmare of a company!
Rip off pricing

Drilled through lock and replaced cylinder. £825!
Exploit people who are under pressure
they were late canceled and got charged…
they were late canceled and got charged
they were late by 10 mins no big deal called to cancel becuse instead of getting locks changed i woud keep my apointment i had planned for today and worry about my locks later but later just to then be told id have to contact the office and pay a fee
long story short be preared for them turning up late, agression, hearing about fees and charges out of the blue followed by bailiff threats and possibly being called the N word
SCAMMERS…..Don’t use this company
SCAMMERS…..Don’t use this company. Trading standard should stop this company operating in UK. Theirs they called locksmith arrived and said your your UPVC door lock-gear is faulty. He said no point to change because gear box will cost you £180 to £600. I ask him could you give me exact price of the lock-gear. He was very rude and raising his voice not to change it. He removed the slamming edge to lock from inside and outside with the key and charged me £59 in 5 minutes.
Later I checked online the prices for lock gear were £20 to £35 from Toolstation and Amazon. He didn’t solve the problem. All theirs website and customer service are fake and theirs own made up. I am regretting why I didn’t searched for Trustpilot reviews before calling them.
DELIBERATE SCAMMING
DELIBERATE SCAMMING ! BE CAREFUL! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I was told their services would cost 49 pounds TODAY (bank holiday) if they were to open a simple lock and there were no hidden charges. They claimed to have previously worked in my building and knowing there are simple locks there. I asked about there being any extra charges since it's Bank holiday TWICE, knowing that usually it is more expensive, but they said that 49 GBP is their flat rate, even today. Then they send out a locksmith, that first lies about how complex the lock is, saying he has to drill it and replace the entire lock because it is a high security lock and it will cost me 500 pounds. I then decline having him do anything, and he changes his mind, suggesting he can try to open it for 198 pounds. He then puts in a laminated card, wiggles it for 2 s and the door glides open - making it very obvious, it isn't a high security lock but a very simple one. I then refuse to pay for a high security lock and call the man I originally spoke too, he apparently orders the locksmith to charge me per the agreed amount, but the locksmith still isn't having it adding a 59 pound charge to the agreed amount, stating it's his call out fee. The fee I was told was not going to be charged. I pay it , as being alone with him in my apartment, I did not want to end up in too much of a dispute. After which I tell him that they shouldn't have lied to me on the phone, as if they told me about the additional fee, I would just have waited until tomorrow - but he said that if they told me the truth, I would have waited until tmr and it would have lost them money. Justifying scamming me! So not only could this have costed me the lock and 500 pounds. I then find out this company knows they are scamming people and do that deliberately.
Locksmith put glue inside Locks so we cannot get in
Locksmith put glue inside Locks
Locksmith attended the property on a Sunday evening and tried to overcharge for the service. I then cancelled the service and walked away from him as he was not leaving and he proceeded to put glue inside the keyhole of my apartment and inside the main door of our building so nobody could enter the building or our apartment from outside. I wish i was making this up, it was the most horrendous thing I've ever seen from a contractor. The company now neglecting responsibilities and claiming that the locksmith did not attend to the property even though we have him on CCTV and have recorded calls with the company and contractor on the day of the visit. Absolutely shocking and I urge you not to use this service, please. We have made a criminal damage police report to the contractor as well as to the company that refuses to take responsibility. Please avoid at all costs, I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone and the man that did this must be very sad to have to do something like this.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Wish I had read reviews first. Was quoted £59 (labour) plus price for the lock (when I asked what that might be was told they start from £35). No VAT according to person who quoted me.
The guy who came took 5mins to change the front door lock - and said as it is a high security British standard lock it's £210 + VAT. Charged me £322.80 in total and said something about 'I am not going to charge you for labour..' ?? When I googled high security locks I came across one that looks like mine for £41.99.
The new lock is not even like for like - the inside lock is missing, will have to use a key instead now.
DO NOT USE.
Absolute rip off!
Called for an emergency lock change and was totally ripped off. The woman I spoke to initially over the phone did not give me a quote, then when the locksmith arrived he charged us over £300 just to drill through the lock to let us in. We didn't get him to change the lock because he quoted us an extra £280 on top!! Clearly taking advantage of vulnerable people. Do not use this service!
Called their office before an engineer…
Called their office before an engineer arrived, they quoted me £45 incl. VAT for unlocking the door. An engineer arrived, he said it’d be £229 to install the new lock or £150 for drilling the lock to open the door. So gutted, I reminded him that I was quoted £45 over the phone, he said it’s only for easy doors. I refused to install the new lock, he charged me £69 for drilling the key lock out of my front door. Really gutted, avoid this company at all cost. Those five star reviews may not be 100% genuine.
DONT USE THIS SERVICE !Disgusting…
DONT USE THIS SERVICE !Disgusting service!! Took advantage of a vulnerable women alone. Money grabbers! Took a brand new lock that didn’t need replacing and changed us the most expensive one ! The man who fitted it was rude and was raising his voice at her making her upset, she had no choice to pay him the money so he would leave.
