Called the office which claims to be local to the area but didn’t know how to spell the town name.

Have an ETA of 30 mins. 45 mins later I called the office to see if there was an ETA, immediately I was told “oh he’s close”. I asked “oh so you’ve spoken to him have you?” He replies “yeh I have” - obvious lie.

One hour later locksmith hadn’t arrived. Called the office back who then got the locksmith to call me. Locksmith stated he was on another job and would be about 1 hr 20 mins.

Tried to call office back a number of times to cancel booking - didn’t answer. Just generally bad customer service and wouldn’t recommend.

Quick response, terrible service. Called to fix lock on postbox. Attempted to turn the key once (the wrong way) before immediately drilling through the lock. Had to ask 3 times for him to not install a new lock before telling me the price. New lock would have been too expensive, had to send him away with £45 call-out charge for wrecking my postbox. Full focus was on his phone the entire time. Terrible experience, avoid.

Do not use this company, they are SCAMMERS!

I was locked in my flat and needed someone to come and let me out from the other side. I passed the key through the letterbox to the gentleman who was sent (wearing branded company clothing) and he said it would not go in the lock. He didn't even attempt it. When I asked him to please try again, he refused. He then proceeded to tell me he would need to bust the lock from the other side and that it would cost around £200, which I agreed to. Once the door was open, he proceeded to tally up various charges with came to over £700!!!! For 5 mins labour and replacing my lock with a shoddy cheap version that wasn't even properly installed. These people prey on vulnerable people and should not be trusted.

Local Locksmith-247 surprised me with very good and professional service after I had a very bad previous experience with another locksmith company two months ago. Local Locksmith-247 arrived in less than 20 min, they unlocked my door in less than 10 min and charged me a very decent price for their services. I have to mention that it was 2 AM and I was amazed that they work in those hours on such quick notice.

This company was very convenient to my needs because I got locked out of my apartment and as soon as I called Local Locksmith-247, they arrived within 15-20 which was outstanding. The job they did was very professional and It was not long until I got into my apartment. I recommend Local Locksmith-247 to anybody that gets locked out of their apartment. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

The person who visited quoted me £1000 to fit a door locking mechanism for upvc back door. I have since found the part on Amazon for £20. Total rip off I would not recommend. Unable to speak to anyone on phone and was charged £70 call out. Do not use.

I called Lockfit, Rochester, Kent, UK and Jay Northfield came to carry out the work I required. He was very friendly, efficient and did an excellent work and I very highly recommend him to anyone who requires a locksmith's service in the area.

I accidentally locked myself out when I went to get a package. He came within 15 minutes and got me back in my flat in another 5 minutes. He was very professional and courteous about my situation. The price was reasonable . I very much appreciate his help and the service.

The locksmith was punctual and changed my locks efficiently. Gave me detailed quotes on the price and also extra advice on what locks would be better suited to my door. He even helped make my door close easier by shaving off extra wood which was a nice touch. Great service!

To be fair they did arrive very quick on a Sunday evening, late but they did charge us for it over £250. They then said they'd replace and fit lock. 15 mins work and £250 for 15 mins work to fit a £80 lock. Would never use again as others have said ridiculously expensive and prey on people

Avoid this company completely, they did a very bad job for me and charge extortionate amount. The name of the locksmith is George. Don’t trust him with any job.

£162 for the price of a new lock he said.. absolutely not.
Con artists. AVOID THIS COMPANY COMPLETELY! i learned the hard way. I am never calling them in my life and would actually tell people to avoid this company.
They don't come in a company car, they want the money directly to their bank account not the company account.
I regret this so much, i am mad at myself for this. They were also 2 hours late. I am reporting them to trading standards and the police

Classic Bait and Switch technique. I was quoted £55 and when they arrived and couldn’t pick the lock open they asked for £150. Even then they didn’t clarify “plus VAT” so I ended up paying £180!!!!
And they broke the lock and drilled the door, however I think it may have been justified in this case as the lock was completely malfunctioning.
My complaints were simply met with “I can leave and you can call someone else” but mostly in these situations you need someone fast.
I then complained formally via email to the company and of course no one acknowledged or replied to my email.
Never again. Avoid at all costs. Too bad there isn’t a “zero star” category!

When I called, they told me locksmith will come in 30 minutes but he arrived after 90 minutes.
The locksmith told me that it is not possible to open the door without breaking the lock. I told him that I can break my lock and I call him to open it without breaking the lock. He still charged me £50 for just visiting (not fixing).
Later I called a local locksmith and he opened the door without breaking the lock in 5 minutes.
