Slight scratch on wheel rim, and we had to pay 290€. Highway robbery.

I have done some research and read a lot of nightmare reviews about some car rental companies in Sicily. Locauto was the only company that I trusted to rent from.
Despite perhaps being a bit more expensive then other companies, I can only recommend them!
They were really attentive, communicative and even let me deliver the car at the airport without an extra cost.
Thank you and I’ll definitely opt for your company when I return to Italy.

Very easy to book. We were met by Gianluca at the site and he was very polite and helpful and gave us advice on driving around the city and sicily. The vehicle was in perfect condition and extremely clean inside and out. Gianlucca also helped with our suitcases and offered us a coffee while he completed the paperwork. We would highly recommend this Enterprise site and will use again. Well done to Gianluca and colleagues, you are a credit to Enterprise car rental!! Thank you!

Everything was great. The car was brand new. We didn't have any problem about the deposit, as it is said in their website, it was only 0.01€. The staff was friendly and explanatory.
The downtown location could be more convenient though.

We booked an Opel Corsa through Sunnycars and got a Skodia Fabia - which turned out to be a good choice. Brandnew car, well- equipped, sufficient power and sufficient room for our luggage. Pleasant and friendly handling by Loc Auto rent, both at picking up and handing in. To pick up the car from Catania center is easy as bus 524 stops almost in front of Loc Auto. Getting back by bus after handing in was cumbersome however, as bus 524 takes a different route towards the city, requiring a dangerous walk of you on the road, without sidewalks.

Nice car, in excellent condition. The man we returned the car to, was exceptional. Although we were late, he was very polite , professional and helpful.

I booked the car through Booking.com, which was very easy. Competitive price.
Then once on spot, I tried to contact them to confirm the adress of the rental agency because it was difficult to find. I had no answer from them. I finally found the place, the person was very nice and the check in was smooth. During the rental, I parked the car and when I got back it was damaged. When I gave the car back, it was noted on the inventory and I was told the damages will be paid by myself, after receiving the bill and doing what was necessary to pay (before getting reimbursed by the insurance). Well, they have actually taken the money directly on my bank account without any warning and without sending me the bill or any receipt for the payment, I discovered it only when opening my bank account app! It’s not very correct.
In short, the process is smooth when there is no question or problem, but once there is a difficulty, it’s more complicated to get an answer (and a bit of respect I guess?) and the people I met in person were friendly.

Would recommend this company to anyone, very professional and easy pick up and drop off. Guy even gave us a lift to the airport, what a legend. A++ service.

We had a problem but in order to fix the problem you wanted us to drive 150 km - so it is not a good service.
Fortunately, we solved the problem.
I want to emphasise that your people were all the time friendly and try to help.

Everything is fine. In the "Opel Corsa" category, they gave me a Seat Arona with 18,000 km. A roomy crossover, three suitcases fit in the trunk. I took the car with full insurance through an aggregator. The staff is adequate, everything is fast and clear. If only there was more information on the site with a diagram of the entrance to the parking lot at the Catania airport.

Car was in great condition, all small scratches already reported and information before handing out the vehicle was sufficient. Location is a bit difficult to access without car or by transport but is ok.

On the day I picked up the car, after less than an hour driving, I noticed a message on the dashboard saying that the motor oil level was low. I had to stop at a gas station to fill in the motor oil tank.
