The car, a Mercedes CLK, was beautifully prepared for my test drive, then I had a second drive and an enjoyable buying experience. The car was MOT’d and serviced while I was away, ready for collection at the agreed time, and it’s gorgeous.

Mark was very helpful, was nervous about getting a new car as my one had just been written off. He wasn't pushy just let us take our time and suggested we could take the one we liked for a test drive and told us the best route to take. Mark understood our family needs when buying a car, he was very welcoming and approachable, he didn’t rush us on a sale. We were allowed to take the car we were interested in for a test drive and was very pleased that the car was perfect for us and all of our children to fit comfortably, low milage for it’s year, clean, well kept, over half a tank of diesel, Air con, Bluetooth, good tyres, great paint work and one previous lady owner. Mark understood the pressure of working for the NHS and discounted the car more, we ended up negotiating a price that was a little over our original budget but we couldn’t leave without the car that day! We have now driven the car to Hayling island, up and down the motorway on days out and it’s honestly so perfect and such a comfortable drive! I needed a replacement car, my previous one was scrapped. I had a look at all the used car websites and the more I looked the more I got confused. Fortunately I came across Mark Hopkins website and having read the many reviews and saw the excellent choice of cars in stock,I found two cars that would suitable. I phoned Mark Hopkins and explained my situation to him and together we decided which car would best meet my needs. My circumstances did not allow to travel to see the car at the showroom and it was necessary for me to trust Mr. Hopkins. The car was delivered to me, it was immaculate and was everything Mr.H.said it was. I am delighted with my purchase and I praise Mr.H.for his honesty and his understanding of my situation. Spoke to Mark over the phone regarding a mini convertible we liked online. We travelled down from south Wales to view the car. The car was as described by Mark and it was a stunner. Very happy with my Mercedes, the service is brilliant and I would highly recommend. I like that they don't buy cars from auction and get them from private sellers only which you can see in the quality of the cars they have for sale.

had to get the car scrapped within a couple months as it was faulty beyond belief, electrically, and deemed an extreme safety hazard by another mechanic.

wouldn’t advise shopping here if your a woman with little knowledge on cars, take someone who knows what they’re on about to spot faults.

car systems keyless fob was apparently draining the battery aswell, which lead to me actually getting locked inside the car for hours, resulting in the AA having to come break me out.

oh, and the AA coverage they promised on purchase wasn’t in affect, meaning the AA weren’t even going to come out to help me. their reason for coming to break me out this car was due to the freakishly hot weather we was experiencing at the time, and that i sounded in a panicked state.

From the moment I contacted Mark about a car I was VERY interested in, he went above and beyond for me.

He was friendly and down to earth while still remaining professional throughout my entire experience. He left me alone to inspect the car as much as I wanted, and allowed myself and my stepfather to test drive the vehicle around the local area to get an overall feel for the car, which I really appreciate.

The whole team were polite, kind and very generous. They don’t push a sale onto you, they let you take things at your own pace and essentially ‘put you in the drivers seat’

Such a friendly service but also professional. No pressure selling and we were left to check the vehicle over. We are over the moon with our purchase and would recommend these guys 100%.

My dealings with Mark and his son were nothing more than excellent. I mainly dealt with Mark. He was extremely helpful and nothing was a bother to him. Once I put down a deposit on the car it was plain sailing from then on. There was no rush for me to get down and purchase the car it was very much take my time and let him know when I planned to come down as the car was there ready and waiting for me. Mark worked around accommodating me. My sister and I travelled down from Edinburgh to Eastleigh to pick up the car and Mark very kindly offered to pick us up at train station. On arrival at garage we were offered a cup of tea or coffee. We were given the key to take the car for a test drive. The car was stunning. On test drive we noted that the water wasn't coming out to clean the windscreen. On returning I mentioned this to Mark. He had a look informed me that this had tested and had been working but that he would get it checked out. When we returned after having lunch the problem had been resolved with an explanation of what the issue had been. I found Mark to be a genuine businessman who wants his customers to have the best experience and give you the best quality car. I can't praise Mark highly enough for making my experience simple and straightforward. If I ever need another car I would have absolutely no hesitation in using Mark Hopkins Car Sales again even if I do have to travel nearly 500 miles to get there. Mark's inviting, friendly approach is very apparent. His customer care is unquestionably the best I have experienced. Mark asked me to call him when I arrived back in Edinburgh to let him know how the car performed and also how I found the car to drive. The whole experience was an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE. There was no hard push of sales of all the added extras that get thrown at you when buying from the larger dealers. Thank you so much Mark I cannot praise you and your business highly enough. Excellent service. Very happy with my new car

This guy stated how great his business was, how he always puts his customers 1st, well my daughter bought a car from him, it had nothing but problems. At one point she was locked in the car & had to get AA out to free her. The car was a death trap & was even told it was a fire hazard. If you want to waste money & risk your life, buy a car from here. Trust me, this man is a rip off & wont help you with anything that goes wrong with the car. He gets abusive towards you & NEVER helps you. Don’t be fooled by his spill that he gives you. This place is a glorified scrap yard!!!!!

yeah right.A trusted family business that sold me an £11000 car last February and I had to send for scrap this week because of gearbox failure. Four times the car went back during warranty and I was palmed off with garbage excuses and i am not the only one who has expereinced the devious ways of this company. Even using his wife's cancer as leverage. Avoid this company. I now have a lovely new MG so up yours Mark Hopkins.
