Went to have some rings made from my deceased sister’s jewellery,was taken care of by the lovely Emma couldn’t do enough to help us would recommend visiting this shop all the staff were extremely helpful ,it was the shop on Rochdale road ,

Visited mays pawnbrokers on Rochdale road collyhurst Manchester with a ring. Got a quote and went back with my I’d. Lovely lady called Pam served me who was very nice and efficient and paid me straight away. Will be using this branch again. Thx

I would like to say the level of service I have received from the Rochdale rd branch was phenomenal I put my chain in for a repair on Friday and it was done for Wednesday they have also cleaned and polished it it looks brand new even though it’s 25 years old so I would like to say a massive THANKYOU to all the team down there I would recommend this place definitely 👍

Visited the Rochdale Road Branch, Collyhurst yesterday and was served by a lovely helpful assistanct called Frankie. I called in again today and was served by another lovely helpful assistant called Laura. I can honestley say, the level of customer service I received from both these young ladies was brilliant. So helpful, friendly and very professional. I would highly recommended this branch.

I recently went to the branch on Rochdale rd collyhurst . Where I found a member of staff called frankie who helped me choose my purchase gave me advice , nothing was too much trouble for this lovely lady , who greeted us on arrival with a lovely smile , listened to what I required and even when I asked about other purchases for the future frankie was amazing with her advice .

Took my jewellery for repair to Mays Rochdale Road, great place, friendly and knowledgeable team, and great customer service! Pam the Manager runs a great team. Repaired my jewellery in super quick time.

The staff at your Rochdale Rd branch are so lovely and helpful I can’t thank them enough for the compassion they showed me when I took a chain in for repair that my deceased husband had bought for me to make sure I had it back to wear on the day of his funeral so thank you from the bottom of my heart

The Rochdale Road branch is just over the road from my home. I have visited them on numerous occasions and this time I had bought an antique pendant off eBay and a brand new single diamond earring stud from an independent American jeweller, both of which needed some attention. On my first visit I was served by Laura who was more than knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I needed an extra loop between the pendant and chain. She said one could be fitted. As for the earring, it was held by three claws which made it look awful and was a screw fitting at the back; far too fiddly for my fingers. I asked for it to be completely reset. A couple of weeks later I returned and was served by the Branch Manager, Sue who returned the items to me. Darren, the jeweller had made me a new "loop" for the pendant in Rose Gold to go with the locket FROM SCRATCH. I was blown away when I saw the locket, he had cleaned up the gold too and it looked as bright and shiny as if it were new. Nothing short of FABULOUS. As for the earring, he made me a completely new setting with four claws, again FROM SCRATCH, using white gold. Just PERFECTION. Thank you Darren. Sue was a delight to speak to and was more than professional throughout the whole return process. Thank you SO much to Laura, Darren and Sue for a perfect repair and remodel experience. Superior service on my doorstep. What could be better? Thank you all so very much.

We visited Rochdale Road after seeing a diamond ring on their web site, my wife had recently lost a ring and this one looked very similar. On arrival we were served by Jason who was knowledgeable about the ring he showed us. We took some jewellery to sell and he gave us a fair price. We bought the pre owned ring which was stunning. All in all a very good experience and would certainly return to Mays in the future.

Had a ring resized and the service from Frankie at the Rochdale Road store was great. Ring back within 3 days, fantastic price too.

I purchased a men’s gold bracelet from William May Jewellers in 2021 and the service was great.
Recently I sold an old necklace to Mays Pawnbrokers in the Royal Exchange, Manchester. I purchased another bracelet at the same time. The level of customer service in store was superb. Friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
