The worst website I have ever used. I made an order on the 24 of November, and it was sent really quick and that was nice so far. Then the DHL returned the parcel back to the warehouse because they couldn’t find the address. The parcel was delivered to the warehouse on the 27th of November. Then it came a nightmare. I kept sending contact form and contacted the online customer service that I wanted a refund for my order. I did it more than 10 times for the upcoming two weeks. NO ONE REPLIED. I lost my money and also my order. THEY EVEN DIDN'T REFUND, just kept saying we will deal with it and nothing changed. Now the order still shows it’s completed. Completed for what? Stealing my money? Then it works.

Ordered and paid a 77“ OLED TV including sound system during Black Friday week. Both items were confirmed for delivery during that week.
Received sound system but no TV. Two weeks later MM is still not able (or willing) to provide an updated delivery date.
What leaves a really bad taste is the fact that the TV model is still available on their website and can be delivered within 1 week. Of course, the price is different from the Black Friday week…

They messed up my shipping. They should be able to send a replacement product or allow me to pick the product up at the closest Mediamarkt.
I could only get a refund but I couldn't buy the product for the same price, which in the meantime increased a lot.
Plus, I didn't get back the voucher that I used, only the money.
I don't give 1 star as a token of appreciation because there is a chat, the customer support speaks English and the refund process was okay.

I mostly shop online, only when I travel to other cities and countries, I buy directly in store, things I need, and Mediamarkt was usually a place to go due to their large selection. For that reason, I opted to buy from them online, and it was the worst mistake of my life!
I have bought for 900e monitor, and due to my needs, I opted for 90minutes express delivery Mediamarkt offered for additional 5euros.
4h later NOTHING CHANGED!
I started contacting live chat hoping to see what is happening, as order was blocked in 'being prepared state' and got dissed by 1st employee. They literally ended the chat without anything being done.
2nd one after contacting them again, stated he wrote to store, as it already past 2pm, and nobody would be home to do delivery first thing in the morning, and that I would get confirmation e-mail. NO EMAIL HAS ARRIVED.
Today, I waited again until 10.30am, contacted them to see what is going on, as morning has passed (maybe we have different views of what's morning) and they stated in chat again that they can do nothing, they just wrote in their chat to the store, but that, "that's it, be patient" and they can't give me any phone number, even location in which store my product is stored and waiting for an employee to call a 90minute guaranteed service, which now takes 25h and counting.
- Customer service in live chat is awful. They simply either don't care, or are useless in the way Mediamarkt made their CS system, so why do they even exist, except to scam customer to think, they have someone to resolve their problems, but in reality, with their attitude they just stress people out, and make things worse.
- 90 minutes delivery is plain scam, they know it is, and when being asked how they can guarantee for a service, and then this happens, without any resolution, they just ignore it, and move on with the chat
- I have money blocked, I do not have enough money to cancel this, and buy it somewhere else, I need the monitor, and nobody from Mediamarkt cares about the false advertisement about the 90minute delivery, nor the problems they are causing to me, both as a customer, but also as a human being.
- You also cannot cancel online, although item was not shipped, but only open Paypal case, in case you were lucky enough to pay by Paypal.
I have all my chats saved, and in the end, all I want is to finally receive my item I ordered, but at this point, I am just stumped what to do, and I just want for others to be careful. This is really awful behavior from Mediamarkt, and I thought they were much more better and professional than this.

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my experience at Mediamarkt. I purchased a laptop for €1343.70 on October 27, 2024. Unfortunately, the color of the laptop did not meet my expectations, so I decided to return it. I initiated the return on October 31, and the package was signed for at Mediamarkt OEZ München on November 2, 2024.
Mediamarkt promises refunds within 14 days, but it’s now November 27, 2024, and I still haven’t received my refund, which is 25 days past the promised refund period. I’ve made numerous attempts to resolve this, but the customer service has been completely unhelpful:
- I emailed Mediamarkt’s customer service and only received an automated reply, with no follow-up or resolution.
- I called their customer service hotline and was assured that I would receive a call back, but no one ever contacted me.
- I visited the Mediamarkt OEZ München store in person, and the staff told me to be patient, but still no progress.
- I even reached out to Mediamarkt on Instagram, and all they said was to keep waiting.
As a student, €1343.70 is a significant amount of money for me, and the lack of communication or action from Mediamarkt has caused me a great deal of stress. I am extremely disappointed by their failure to honor their refund policy and provide basic customer support.
I strongly urge potential customers to reconsider purchasing from Mediamarkt, as their customer service and refund process have proven to be unprofessional and unreliable.

Never using MediaMarkt (MM) online store again!
Had issues 2 times in 2 purchases I did, so never again.
1st time MM mentioned they had stock for 2 battery packs for xbox controllers, took more than 6 months to arrive...
2nd time, I visited the shop in Alexa (Berlin) to buy a coffee machine, the lady said there is a stock of the desired product, asked me to wait, and took 20 minutes to return, just to say she couldn't find the product... I say I will buy online... After I purchased online, the delivery date was set, so perfect, I would get the product I needed. Just to get a message days after the supposed delivery date, saying that article is not available... MM improve your logistics cause it's shameful that such big organization can't function properly. I try to avoid amazon at all costs and support the local companies, but like this, is difficult to support someone.

Buy from anywhere else. I have lived in 7 countries, and I have never received such poor customer service from any company, including other Media Markts. I bought my Samsung TV in Berlin in early September, and within 2 weeks it started having issues. Mediamarkt refused to replace it until I have 2 full attempts with Samsung to repair it. That is understandable in theory, but in reality, it has become absurd. It is now late November, and I still do not have a functioning television. My TV has been with the repair company for weeks, but there is no movement. I have repeatedly asked for my money back, but they refuse until 2 attempts have been made to repair my device. So, I spent over 1400 EUR, and instead of a TV, I have to coordinate with repairmen, customer service. It is all just a headache that I want to end as soon as possible but it is interminable.

MacBook Pro.
I recently purchased a MacBook Pro from the MediaMarkt store in Wiesbaden. When I visited the store, the employee who assisted me informed me that the model I was looking for was not available. Instead, he recommended another model, which I agreed to purchase based on his advice.
Due to my work schedule, I was unable to unpack the laptop for three days. However, upon doing so, I discovered that the laptop was unsuitable for the purpose for which I had purchased it. When I attempted to return the device the following week, I was shocked to be informed by MediaMarkt that they could not accept the return because I had opened the package.
This is incredibly frustrating, as your website clearly states that items can be returned within 14 days. The fact that I financed this purchase, incurring significant interest, makes the situation even worse. Every time I see the laptop, I am reminded of this disappointing experience, which I cannot help but feel is unfair and exploitative.
I expect MediaMarkt to stand by its return policy and offer a resolution to this matter. Otherwise, this feels like a blatant disregard for consumer rights and a breach of trust.

I am using all sorts of online shops for the past 25 years, I've NEVER EVER had such a terrible experience so far. I try 5 times to order a scooter from their german site with delivery address in Germany. My orders goes through and then immediately got cancelled with the dull explanation "Jede Bestellung wird umfassend geprüft. Deine Bestellung (Bestellnummer: 234161734) hat eines der Prüfkriterien leider nicht erfüllt und wird daher aus Sicherheitsgründen automatisch storniert."
So I tried the support chat the entire morning, talked with 3 different agents, they were all clueless why this is happening and try to give me some dumb explanations like "try another card". For the record I tried both credit card and paypal. I also emailed the support team with the relevant order numbers etc. No reply what so ever. These are pure scammers.

I bought an item online through the website mediamarkt.nl and I didn't receive any confirmation of the order, but the money was deducted from my account, this is a disgrace, disrespectful to the customer, I feel robbed! I went to the store and they told me that I can only call by phone or email, I said that they don't answer me and he still didn't do anything to help me! If they don't look for me in the next few days I'll have to go to the police, because this is a crime!
I need the product at the price I paid (promotion), I await a solution as soon as possible!!!
