Been with them for almost 10 years. And can not get approved for anything. This bank sucks, i cant beleive i wasted so much time with them.

they sell gift cards thru retails that are paper rather than plastic and purposely scratch off the pin code so you cant use and then when you try and get ahold of anyone all you get is some answering service. Beware

Worst company to bank with. They don't protect you as a customer. Don't sent money to them or save with them if you don't want to lose the money you are sending. They don't take responsibility for the money you sent if a mistake is make or transfer and they don't honor the 30 minutes window to cancel and got refund until arbitrator on my DP stepped in to sort out my refund.

I received a Visa Reward Card distributed by MetaBank on behalf of Hain Celestial. When the card arrived on August 30, 2024 I wanted to confirm the available balance and it was missing $5.00 even though the card displayed the correct amount on the front. I called MetaBank to ask why and Briana informed me that the card had actually been activated in July 2023, and MetaBank charged a $2.50 Monthly Fee starting on the 13th Month since Activation (July 2024, August 2024 etc...) regardless of the actual Year that MetaBank mailed out the card. Apparently that is their Policy and they refused to do anything about it. So I called Hain Celestial and Cristiana said they were not aware that MetaBank was sending Old Pre-Activated cards but she would forward the issue to her Management Team for further investigation.

It is clear that this organization, 70 MetaBank, is taking advantage of the public and causing harm to innocent individuals. I am seeking advice on how to take action against this company and hold them accountable for their actions because they are awful. My photo !s áll you něęď

My Husband and I had our check for our 3 Autistic Daughters in our Care STOLEN the Culprit was traced back to Metabank/Person that stole the money and we have not recieved any type of Settlement. I Need a Lawyer for Interest since it was Stolen 2021/2022 Filing Year. I'm not Happy. 😞

They are with Net Spend, a company that is easy to hack. I had many problems with them. Now they won't let me have service. I was not my fault. They liked about being able lock the card until you need to use it. I went on Google and YouTube and couldn't find instructions

Received 2, $50 gift cards in Jan 2024 as longevity award but balance remaining was only $2.80 on each card. My employer had bought these in the year prior but never activated or registered them, expiration date is 2028. Apparently there is an inactivity fee of $2.95 a month which drained the cards even though they were never activated. Little wonder why their rating is so very, very low.

They will keep running tricks on you , better to stop now before they take all your funds. Get help now...

Used this prepaid card spendwell which is a card provided by metabank. I had money being taken from my account and when I would call spendwell i was told the money wasn't actually taken from my account. And that was a lie cause who don't keep track of there money. This has happened on several occasions and my money was never returned to my account. I don't recommend this company to anyone. Liars and thieves is all they are

they called my son and my sister trying to say I owe money to they i called the umber that was given to me and it a firm stating that I owed this company money I was a prepaid card the people that I talk to said they was going to take me to court. this is a scam and some way they got ahold to my contact somehow please leave me alone I don't owe you nothing

I bought a visa gift card at target then when I tried to use it for a purchase at a store the magnetic strip on the back was scratched. And the store was giving me a hassle about typing the card in. So I figured I could just reorder a new card that had a working strip on the back. So when I called the card had approximately $35 still on it. The card shows up to my house and has a $5.49 balance. Like what t f is this???? They just helped their self to my $30 bucks. Scam!!!!!

first of all, after a purchase, the pre-paid stop working. like what the hell.

Complete garbage card. It give an expiration date for April 2030 but uses up the entire balance ($40 from a rebate or promo) in fees.
I'm annoyed that I have to give 1 star just to write a review, it deserves zero stars.

Don't trust Spendwell cards,I ended up loosing a card and I tried getting a new card.But Metabank is refusing to use my right address or refusing to ship me the card.Giving them one more chance,if the card doesn't come through USPS then I will be canceling my account with this bank.

I was given a card, put it in my wallet and forgot about it. Almost a year later I try to use it and it had 0 balance. Someone?? had the number. Phony.

I got gifted a visa gift card and noticed it didnt work online, and you could associate a zip code or address to it. I contact support, they dont help and are trashy. I contact visa support as well, and they just tell me to go to METABANK support, which i already did. This card is so ASS and unusable to me basically. 0/10 if i could.

I am very pleased with MetaBank. I have been ripped off to the tune of USD$200K by UpTrendCenter and I am extremely cautious after that experience. MetaBank has NEVER pressed me to make more deposits (unlike UpTrend that constantly pressured me for more money). The staff at MetaBank (particularly Jeremy Northwood and Ken Robertson) have been friendly, professional and fully engaged in me as a customer. I tested them for ease of withdrawal (again unlike UpTrend which NEVER made withdrawals possible) and was completely satisfied with the ease and speed that the withdrawal process happened. MetaBank uses AI technology and I'm amazed at the way this tool works. As with any investment company - check them out for yourself before making a small investment to make sure you're safe. I don't have all my eggs in the MetaBank basket, I also deal with Fortrade and SimpleWealthFX. I'm satisfied with both of those other alternate platforms. But I think I'm going to move all my trading to MetaBank at some point. Their platform is easy to navigate. It's fast and accurate. But do yourself a favor and RUN AWAY FROM UPTREND AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!

They are the bank that work alone with NetSpend. They will close your account for anything. No warning no nothing. You will no longer have access to your information nor bank statements. That's not good business. You will try to log in and it states there is a problem with your account and give you a number to call. Then they will say your account has been closed. I've been with them for over 7 years.
