do not use - awful experience.

London city airport to London Gatwick airport
App did not take payment then would not work. Person on phone did not answer questions, did not understand and was rude. Took 40 mins when said straight away. Driver did not understand and drove very badly. Would not use again.

I have never had this experience before…

I have never had this experience before and I always recommend Minicabs but after this i might not be able to. My friend booked a taxi for me, i arrived early but immigration took very long.I received news tht i had lost my brother just before my flight took off from Dubai.When i arrived at Heathrow, I called the operators number from a payphone and begged for the driver not to leave. The driver left and when i begged for them to meet me in the arrival hall so we would not miss each other as they've always done this for my friend: the service guy I spoke with said he didnt know why I was acting so stressed and said i should go to terminal 2(a different terminal from where i landed) to short stay and look for silver Citroen blah blah. I said give me drivers name and number but he refused. Here i was distraught with two kids and suitcases and they refused to help me an said i didn't pay for a service where the driver would stand in arrivals with a sign!!!! I couldn't believe this! My friend completely vouches for minicabster and says they meet you, its easy, they are helpful and i experienced NONE of this. I would never recommend this to anyone ever again.

Good over the phone

My booking didn't go through. The Gentleman on the phone was very helpful and negotiated a price for me for a Cab.
Unfortunately it was not clear why my online booking hadn't worked as it all looked fibe on the App.

Awful service

Awful service. Said they had booked my cab through an external company. When it was time for the car to arrive, nothing. I called the external company and no car had been booked.

Poor experience, wrong operator details provided.

I booked a service from Standsted airport for my wife whose phone had ran out of battery after 9 hours of delayed in Naples. On arrival there was no taxi and when I called the details of the operator, which I received on the booking confirmation from MINICABSTER, they said they had not agreed the service because they didn't have drivers around. This was 30 mins after the booking time! This is unacceptable as I would've expected to have an update from MINICABSTER.
I will not be using this company again!

Dreadful

The app said he would be there in 40 minutes, not ideal but I decided to wait. When it was time I got a call saying there was a mistake of pick up location and it would be a further 40 minutes at which point I cancellekd. Uber was there in 6 minutes and the journey cost me less. Poor show. Won’t be using Minicabster again

Paid more than arranged

Arrived on time, driver put destination into his sat nav, traffic as expected in London. Arrived at our destination and our £12 fare turned to £16 and the driver claimed not to know about the arranged fee. I just paid as I had children with me, and took it as a lesson learned with this company.

Rubbish experience

Rubbish experience! Booked the cab for 6:25- driver reached for pickup at 7:40! And the operator was absolutely no help at all!!! Never book!

Probably I have just been unlucky

Probably I have just been unlucky, but had a very bad experience. Booked asap when arriving in Gatwick with my 7 year old son. The app said the taxi would arrive in 20 mins which suited me fine. Ten minutes later I get a call saying that unfortunately it was going to be 30-40 mins.
I wanted to go Uber but thought I could wait a bit... but after another 20 mins I get an email saying that my taxi was booked another 15 mins later than planned. I waited again, but at the time I rang the operator saying that the taxi was 20 mins away.
Turned out to be incorrect as it was indeed 5 mins away, but by that time i lost patience and I got an Uber in 3 mins since booking, I could see where it was and I knew it was not an excuse after the other. I used Minicabster before and worked nearly always fine, but this time was a real problem, especially as I had my son along and it was getting very late for him

Bad experience , will never recommmend to anyone !

Bad experience , Skycars ( Big time Liars)called his driver who was taking us to the airport , to throw us on M4 and not to take us to the airport , I heard it myself , because the driver put his phone speaker On ,so I told the driver I will pay you £5 extra , forget about your controller n he said to me ok , And Minicabster have sent us 2 booking invoices for the same journey and for the same detail , with 2 different prices , first was £36 estate car , and then for £40 estate car ,check it out , We have paid the driver £40+5 tip £45 , we will never use you again .....! Very disappointed n not happy at all ....! Next time definitely Uber , cheaper n very very Reliable ...!

Waited 1 hour - didn't allow to speak to operator

The worst journey. We have waited for a cab for 3 hours, I was cancelled 3 times. The driver hardly spoke English. Minicabster has blocked his phone number to prevent me from speaking to operator after the cab was not arriving. I do not recommend this company to anyone.
