Good bank app
Good bank app, looks a bit old fashioned but works OK.

Works fine but room for improvement
Money Jar works fine for receiving salary and online payments and I like the jars, I'd like to be able to apply for loans or an overdraft.

Excellent App
Excellent app that is extremely user friendly. Took no more than 5 minutes to sign up. The Jars are a great way for saving money. I am also saving money on my Bord Gáis Energy bills as Money Jar customers get discounts.

I had the unfortunate experience of…
I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with MoneyJar, and I must say it was a complete nightmare. I made a payment of €154 on October 5th, and since that day, my life has been filled with frustration and disappointment. MoneyJar not only failed to refund my money as promised, but their customer service has been utterly unhelpful and downright frustrating.
From the moment I realized that my money was not refunded, I attempted to reach out to their customer service for assistance. To my dismay, it quickly became apparent that their customer service team was nothing short of a disaster. I was met with indifference, unresponsiveness, and a complete lack of empathy.
I've spent countless hours on hold, waiting to speak to a representative who seemed more interested in brushing me off than actually addressing my issue. When I did manage to get through, I was met with vague promises and empty reassurances, but no concrete action was taken to resolve my problem.
It's been over a month, and my €154 is still missing, thanks to MoneyJar's incompetence and lack of integrity. They have proven themselves to be untrustworthy and unscrupulous, leaving me feeling frustrated and ripped off. I have not encountered such a lackluster and unhelpful customer service experience in my life.
I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with MoneyJar to think twice. They have no respect for their customers, and they are more than willing to take your money and run. This experience has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth and a warning to others: steer clear of MoneyJar at all costs.

Worst bank experience …
Worst bank experience …
They set up random maximum amounts from one day to another and send back my salary to my employer.
This is very unprofessional. They created issues that they are not fixing themselves making their customer solve their incompetence.

I received your mail request for a call…
I received your mail request for a call on September 13th and haven't heard from moneyjar.
I confirmed my availability on the same day and have been waiting since then without a call, or follow up email from moneyJar team.
This is not the professional support I was expecting from Money Jar team for the following reasons:
1. Losing all my money through moneyJar without notifying the account holder about the unauthorized transactions.
2. A week later a moneyJar support personnel concludes that I won't be getting my money back without proper investigation.
3. Requests account holder for a call and never call them back.
Please understand and empathize the issue I am going through and return my funds. It's been a horrible experience with the moneyJar support team without knowing status of my complaint my head is bursting here.
Please respond at the earliest.
Regards
Meghana

Money went missing
Money went missing, has been missing for several weeks now and absolute no communication from the "company".
This is an absolute scam app with a customer service that is overly friendly however far from actionable.
I am busy talking to my lawer to see how I can best claim my money back for fraudulent activity as well as misappropriation of funds.

160 eur disappeared from my account
On march 2023 160 eur disappeared from my account. They lied to me and changed my bank statements to get away with it. Luckily I was able to download the original version of the bank statement before they changed it - this is my proof that 160 eur disappeared and they never refunded me. I will go to Garda with these bank statements to let them decide if this was a crime.
Recently they had a huge f*** up with incoming bank transfers and all customers didn't receive incoming transfers to their MoneyJar account that exceeded the amonut of 5400 eur. They never sent any apologies, none.
I only know the details of this situation because my friend, who also got impacted, had a chat with them via WhatsApp.
Me on the other hand, I had an e-mail conversation with Ronan from customer support and he never came back to share any information of what happed to my incoming transfer.
Shame on you!!!!!

This happened in the last week. I was looking for an alternative to AIB, a second account, and was directed to ccpc.ie where I found them. Central bank told me they are not regulated, and don't know them. A guy answered, and said it was easy to get started with them, The documents did not upload with a message saying "system hiccups". Technical support was provided by a lady who was not comfortable with concepts like logging into email. She could not make it upload after which they were not available. Maybe their system has crashed or this is a company running out of someones backyard, I think better not to trust your money with them. I'll stick to regulated from now, its safer CENTRAL BANK OF IE - OR WAS IT CPCC.IE TOLD ME YOU WERE NOT REGULATED SO MAYBE YOU HAVE UPGRADED SINCE THEN.

Money lost
I have done a transfer to a friend - the money has never arrived and after 3 months moneyjar is still not able to track the money.
I had done several transfers to this recipient with moneyjar - so the details were saved and we are sure the details are correct.
I can’t do anything so I might have lost the money…
I don’t recommend this bank. I have heard other bad experiences with it.
