I was delighted by the support I got from the Belfast office (Emma) in sorting out the restriction on my EV Charger power supply.
The fix involved a number of system setting changes which I was walked through in a very professional manner. I felt very well supported throughout.

Excellent service
We required a replacement Zappi. From describing the initial fault and getting a replacement, all emails with several representatives were answered promptly. Following the installation of the new charger the myenergi system needed a reset. I am very grateful to Emma who spoke to me over the phone and guided me patiently and clearly through all the necessary steps. Thank you Emma.

Zappi issue resolved quickly
I had an issue with my Zappi charger which I tried to resolve myself unsuccessfully. I logged a ticket and Emma rang me the next working day. Within 10 minutes the issue was resolved and the charger was working again.

I recently had an excellent experience with myenergi Ireland customer support. Clodagh, who assisted me with a technical issue, demonstrated remarkable patience and expertise throughout the process. Despite several email exchanges, the problem remained unresolved, so Clodagh arranged a direct call to address the issue.
During our conversation, Clodagh guided me through a complex troubleshooting process with clear and concise explanations, making everything easy to understand. Their patience and professionalism gave me real confidence in the solution provided.
Additionally, I spoke with Clodagh's colleague, Michael, who also worked to resolve the issue. Ultimately, it was determined that the problem was not with the myenergi Ireland Zappi device, but rather with my EV, which was not charging during the night.

On board faulty EV charger
I had a issue with the on board charger in my Citroen EV C4 .initially I thought it was my Zappi charger that was not allowing my car to charge past 77% I contacted Energi and got speaking a very helpful man called Tony,who calmed me down and assured me he would find the cause of the problem after numerous tests remotely on my Zappi which did not have a fault he suggested I go back to citroen who eventually discovered the on board charger in my car was faulty on my new car .Thank you Tony for your help and patience .Oliver Conyard

Worst experiance
Why is Zappi delivered separately? Why can't the installation team bring it along? The installer did the most terrible job, instead of pulling cable under ground like I asked, he fitted the most basic white plastic tube on the house facade. After 2 months I start getting 4217 on the Zappi, it took another 2 months before unit was replaced. And a cherry on top, installer did not pick old unit, I had to ship it back myself. Worst user experience, avoid.

Frustrating customer service
I engaged to purchase a Zappi home charger. After numerous attempts to submit the documents for the installation, I was told that the portal isn't working. After continuous back and forth, I ended up having to request a refund and purchase the charger from another installer.
Just to be absolutely clear, I have an Earth rod as made out on numerous occasions but it was housed behind box and I couldn't get a picture of it without moving cables. It was not safe for me to do this. They refused to believe me and told me that my system doesn't have a basic fundamental system element which was factually incorrect. They refused to come out and test the rod and they refused to find a solution. Just shocking service all around.
UPDATE: I had a Hypervolt installed today. The rod was found and clearly visible under the ESB meter as I had said. If there is one view I am sure of, it is far more pleasant going with a competitor. It is incredibly frustrating having "experts" like Simon sitting behind some desk telling you what your system has and doesn't have when in reality what comes from them is factually incorrect.

The support team at Energia are simply the best. I have had a few issues ( my own fault ) in the past but thanks to both Emma and Clodagh they dealt with those issues in such a professional manner. Their calming manner made you feel at ease ( and in my case not feel stupid) . I also had a problem with my zappi yesterday- it just ceased working ! 🤨- but I was lucky again to speak to a very helpful gentleman Liam who was more had a very calming presence as I was not a very happy individual due to the challenges I faced in getting through to a human voice. Thank you 🙏 to all 3 of you for your patience and your professionalism in dealing with me.
However I do have a major issue with trying to get in contact with a person in your support division. Please remember not of all us are in the technological age and it would be great if you had an age friendly ph number that people in “ our golden years” ie over 65 could make contact with you. I’m thinking of Eir who has this service and it’s a great service. Thank you Emma, Clodagh and Liam for your support once more.i hope Energia realise what great staff the company has.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
