3 Door Barcelona Wardrobe

Overall the product (in this case a wardrobe) looks good, however I had small issues involving the delivery, despite me changing the delivery date, the product was delivered on the original scheduled date when I wasn't at home, and left on my driveway on a blue palet which is difficult to dispose of.
The wardrobe is quite weighty, made from Melomine with a black finish. Building will need at least two people, the instructions could me made a lot simpler to follow, and I did encounter issues where the pilot holes for screws did not line up as required, meaning I needed to alter to assemble correctly.

Appalling Service..

Ordered a nest of tables to put a particular box on top based on the dimensions on website it would have fit the box however when the tables arrived it didn't so measured them and they were 2cm less on both width and depth. Contacted seller to advise this and ask if we can send them back they advised we would have to send via courier ourselves which we have had to pay for I didn't think this was fair as their description for sizes was wrong however just sent them back as had no space to hang on to them. I advised the seller the details and they said they would check them over once received and arrange refund. They received the goods on 16th August. Its now the 26th August. 10days later and we have not had a refund I have sent a few emails asking when we should receive the refund and have not had one single reply either via private email or fb messenger. Disgrace. The tables were actually lovely and seemed good quality but absolutely shocking service to not contact a customer when they have the product back that we have paid to send back and our money for the product still. Will be contacting trading standards if still no response from this review!

Awful customer service - all contact ignored

I ordered a tv stand order number 37742 on June 6th. It arrived with damage to 3 of the parts, these have been ordered as replacements, however it is over three months later and they have yet to arrive or I have yet to be given a date of when they will arrive.

Under the consumer rights act 2015 this is beyond a reasonable timescale, as such I am requesting a refund for this item.

I have tried continuously to contact My Furniture Direct - email, phone, messenger (I have now been blocked for posting the above message on Facebook).

Absolutely awful customer service.

Poor customer service

I ordered a Shankar Chenille Duck egg blue striped chair which arrived in a couple of days. However, when I unwrapped it, one of the wooden arms was scratched. I emailed MyFurnitureDirect and the reply said "apologies, we have contacted the supplier and will get back to you when we hear from them". A week later, after a couple of reminders, I'd had no further update. So I called Shankar myself, got straight through to sales and was told they knew about the scratch and had told MyFurnitureDirect that they would swap the chair for another one the following Tuesday. It arrived on time, scratch-free and I'm very pleased with it.
I'm less impressed with MyFurnitureDirect. The customer service was poor, there was no phone number to ring, no contact name on the email to me and when I finally heard back, they incorrectly said the chair would be replaced on a Monday. Would I use them again? No. I think they need some customer service training.
Update. Thank you for the speedy response to my review Amy. If you add a name when replying to emails from customers, it makes us feel like we are not talking to a robot.

We appreciate your feedback and take on board your comments. We received notification of the slight mark on the arm and got a replacement sent within 5 working days. We think that is brilliant service in comparison to some horror stories we hear about from competitors and feel a two star rating is very harsh.

We appreciate all feedback good and bad and have many many happy customers even when something goes wrong , normally out of our control, we ensure it is put right as quick as possible as we would expect ourselves.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service! We had a slight damage to one of the wardrobe doors, they arranged replacement immediately no quibble and were very friendly and efficient! Will definitely use them again

Solid unit

Quickly dispatched and delivered. Product as described. Its a flat pack so always gonna take a bit of time to put together but was all fine all parts included and no extra drilling required

Half of wardrobe / drawers didn’t arrive- bad customer service

I bought a wardrobe and set of drawers, in both boxes only half of the pieces arrived. The wardrobe didn’t even have instructions for how to build it or any screws. They also took a while to arrive. I then phoned and they asked me to email them with all of the missing pieces which is a very long list, I can’t even do this for the wardrobe as no instructions arrived. Wouldn’t recommend.

The best furniture company we have found !

We needed a console table in mango wood to coordinate with some other furniture we bought years ago. MyFurnitureDirect not only had exactly what we needed at the right price but also ensured it was delivered, with very little notice from the placing of the order, to get to us before our holiday !
Communication was excellent and we will definitely use them again. VERY highly recommended!!

Great quality great price great service

Used this company twice now and on both occasions the products those being a table and a bookcase arrived in about a week well packed when arrived and first class condition at great prices also received a call from delivery guys with a date and a call 30 mins before delivery although I was at work my wife took the delivery and said both guys were very polite and took great care in bringing it in What more can you want 100% would use again

The service is poor

The service is poor, no delivery date for my furniture and still no update. Nearly 10 days, goods paid for but received no notification of delivery

Great furniture

Great furniture, really good sale prices as well they have been in touch about delivery times with a tracking number as well, but I am writing this review before the desk actually arrives, so will see more once it arrives.

I was delighted to have found a piece…

I was delighted to have found a piece of furniture I was looking for and was initially really happy with my experience. This morning I received an invitation to review the service but my furniture has not been delivered. Was advised 3-7 days after placing order but 10 days later no sign of said furniture. Unable to speak to anyone as phones are offline. I’ve received prompt communication from the company to contact the courier company. Will make contact and, fingers crossed will organise delivery.
