Unfortunately I booked online and on arrival was advised the windscreen had not arrived. I rebooked at the unit and all went well.
The prediction of upto 4 hours was excessive. I was called back after 2.
Staff were very polite and helpful.

Pleasant and courteous fitters who took great care not to damage my car. It was a difficult fit out. I was kept informed as windscreen had to be ordered.

Failed to show up to 4 appointments!
Failed to show up to 4 appointments after confirming them.
Kept sending me text messages telling me that 'they are on the way and to expect a technician between 9am and 4:30pm.'
By so far have repeatedly failed to show with no update.
Then told they didn't have the windscreen after they had confirmed the appointment.
Then I was told the windscreen would 'be in after the weekend'.
So then a new appointment was booked.
Three more no-shows and a month later I'm told they still don't have the windscreen.
Left me without a car for a MONTH and still no windscreen.
Communication with them is impossible.
Avoid at all costs.

Awful to contact
Awful to contact! I tried 5 different numbers and over 13 times to call to find out what was happening with my car got a taxi there to find they hadn’t started my car 6 hours after it had been booked in. They sent me the payment link 2 weeks after it was done. Go else where the communication is horrid and there is no system or phone line.

Slight Improvement Needed for Customer Communication
This is my second time using National Windscreens and it wasn’t much better than the first experience! I booked the appointment because my window got smashed from a stone that got flicked up from our lawn mower! Managed to get a booking for 3 days time so wasn’t too bad. The day of my booking I got a phone call in the morning at about 9:30am from someone really miserably explaining that they had to go and collect the window to fit into my car and that ‘no one had bothered to tell him that’, his attitude sort of made out like it was my fault he had to do this! I asked for an afternoon appointment as I had preschool run twice in the morning but the guy on the phone said they’ll try and fit me in today but if not then maybe later on? I was told someone would contact me to confirm but after a few hours I called them at 3pm, no one answered the office phone after being on hold for 7 minutes. The chat service couldn’t get through to the technician either. After I tried again and again someone finally managed to get hold of them and apparently my technician was stuck in Winchester so wouldn’t be able to make it. They managed to send someone out at 5:30pm and fit it fine, this guy was very friendly so thank you to him!
