Was impressed with Novello. I don’t often like using a big company for a survey as I feel you are just another number and you can’t get the surveyors genuine thoughts on the property BUT that certainly wasn’t the case here.
My surveyor was Rafaquat Hussain and his communication was excellent. Discussed his genuine thoughts on the property and what was urgent and what would wait in terms of our renovation goals.
Must say, I am impressed with Novello from start to finish.

Fast service and excellent communication
We had a level 3 pro service done by Danny Price. He rang us before the survey started asking for any concerns. He called after the survey to give the update and later on the evening the full report was ready. The report was comprehensive and easy to follow.

Excellent service from start to finish. Nicholas carried out a thorough Level 3 building survey and produced a detailed, well-structured report. What particularly impressed me was his responsiveness afterwards. I had several follow-up technical questions, and he took the time to answer each of them clearly and in writing, distinguishing between theoretical possibilities and his professional assessment. This gave me real confidence in making an informed decision. Professional, knowledgeable and very helpful throughout. I would happily recommend Nicholas and Novello Surveyors.

Easy process to commission the level 3 survey with good follow up communication from Novello.

Steer clear
Rude and uncommunicative. Surveyor didn't properly introduce himself and declare what he would do and how long it would take. Didn't ask to view different parts of the house, just came in and went about his business as if he owned the house-only spoke to me if he couldn't find something he needed. Then I had to take a work call and he decided that was a good time to ask me a long list of questions about the property even though I kept telling him I had to take a call, he didn't leave my office. Eventually he did leave and then just left the house while I was on my 10 minute call without even saying goodbye.

Danny was excellent!!
Danny was super efficient and speedy when conducting his survey on our first home. He had the survey completed and report sent on the very same day. We were very pleased by how thorough and detailed the report was and it has helped us enormously with the knowledge of any works needed on our new home.

Simon was incredibly helpful and provided a very thorough report of his findings in the property. It was detailed and comprehensive, and he was always willing to engage over the phone where necessary to answer any follow-up questions I had and recommend contractors that might be able to help with repairs. It gave me a lot of peace of mind and a good understanding of what I needed to do in the property going forward.

We are very happy with the service Ian has done for us! We received a very in depth report with a lot of helpful tips on how to mend anything which wasn’t particularly great with the house!
