Fast and easy to set up
Fast and easy to set up. Provided additional cover that I didn't think of. Very reasonable.
Good, but could be better.
One one hand I did get my insurance payout which is pleasing to know, but on the other hand it did take from date of theft, it took just under 3 weeks to recieve my payout, which meant I was without a bike for a while. I found the communication could be drastically improved. It took them nearly 2 weeks to respond after submitting my claim and evidence, in which time you cannot speak to anyone as they don't answer the phone, you don't receive any status updates or estimated timeframes so its an awful period of uncertainty. Then when you do get the decision, they say it can take up to 11 working days for them to payout... thankfully it got paid in 6 working days but still very long.
My recommendations if they listen:
- improve the communication, if you are not willing to speak to customers, remove the phone number and go to an app based solution which allows customers to track their insurance contract/claim process, somewhere they can receive updates on the process.
- 11 working days to then payout when approved isn't good enough either, even if its a worst case.
So overall, a good experience, but it could be a lot better. I wanted to rate them 3.5 so rounded up to 4.0

Loyal No More.
After years of being a loyal customer to Pedalsure they failed to notify of a renewal quote.
I enquired about my circumstances. I even stated that if they no longer wanted my custom then please let me know.
No reply.............
Finally I received a response. They apologised and would let the I.T. department know of the glitch. There has been no further communication. What I find more angst is that the customer service contact didn't ask for details, previous policies etc. This brings me back to if they didn't want my custom then they should have notified me so I could get immediate cover elsewhere.
Secondly whilst employed I had a policy where I paid for loss of earnings. Unfortunately I had an accident tried to claim but was informed that I wasn't covered. I was continually charged for loss of earning & medical cover etc even when THEY informed me that I wasn't covered. Pedalsure had been updated.I informed them of my circumstances but yet they continued to charge me for cover for a claim they refused
On the plus side, the Customer Service contact that I previously engaged with was so Professional, empathic and tried to resolve things.

Only had this insurance 2 months and my bike got stolen,the claims team where really good and had my claim within 4 working days. Amber who dealt with my claim was really helpful. Thanks and will definitely be using again when my new bike arrives.
Easy claim process
My bike was stolen from the bike store at my property. They reviewed and accepted my claim within 48 hours. The whole process of claiming was much easier than expected.
Great experience
I'm having a great experience with them for many years now and when things really go wrong and I had an accident with my bike or when it was stolen sadly they helped me incredibly quick.
Fantastic company and Amber was amazing.
The level of service I got from Amber during my claim was amazing, the response time was great, from the start to end of claim was super fast 4 days. The only negative was up to 11 days wait time on settlement however speaking to Amber and explaining my circumstances I am hopeful that it will not take that long.
