Dealing with Andrew Murphy, very professional with a lovely friendly manner that immediately puts you at ease.
Very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Worked to a tight deadline for a pension transfer and kept us fully informed at all stages meaning the deadline was met.

Having attempted to engage 3 different IFAs over 18 months to evaluate the option of transferring out of a DB scheme, Pension Works were the only one who were able to undertake the work and then the transfer process.
I was very happy with their objective, comprehensive and unbiased approach.

We are now at the final stages to transfer out which was agreed due to my ill health and at no time was I put under pressure. If anything he explained the pitfalls of transferring out but did agree that it was the best thing to do due to my short life span and this way it ensured my husband then had financial security

My financial adviser referred me to Pension Works for advice pertaining to transferring out of my DB pension after other companies let me down. The abridge advice was completely free and as it came out as unclear I opted to go for full advice. Alastair Milner kept in touch with me at all times and there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever from Pension Works all the decisions were left up to me as when I felt ready. He talked me through the whole process and when the ultimate advice was to transfer set everything in motion. I am currently just receiving scheme to acknowledge receipt of the transfer. The mantle was passed over to Angela Phillips who was equally helpful and always happy to answer any questions. To date everything has proceeded smoothly and eventually my own IFA will take over but I would not hesitate to choose Pension Works and they have been nothing but professional and always contactable by either telephone or email. Well done and thank you.

The experience was very straight forward, everybody was very helpful. I liked the way my interests were their main concern, making sure my future was as secure as it could be when investing your money. Thanks to everyone concerned.

I didn't have high expectations of speed of service yet it was efficient and timely, the trustees will probably take longer. Andrew Murphy was friendly and informative and I realize the importance of ensuring each individual client gets the correct advice for their financial circumstances which may not always be the advice the client wants to hear. My overall experience with Pension Works has been a positive one coupled with detailed financial analysis and reports.

The process from start to finish is far too slow and there is no sense of urgency either obtaining information or processing appointments. Delays will inevitably result in additional charges from the pension trustees. I'm actually seriously considering looking for an alternative company to deal with or just leave my pension where it is.

Paul Chester made what can be a difficult process as easy as possible. He made a clear case for both the pros and cons of transferring out of a defined benefit scheme whilst listening to and understanding my needs.
