For your own sake, do not instruct this firm - Sacked Alisha Butler due to her…
Sacked Alisha Butler this year due to her unprofessional and misleading behaviour. This firm was contacted nearly 2 years ago and given a dropbox full of evidence to support my claim. I contacted them based on them advertising a 'no win no fee' for disrepair claims.
This can and will be proven as she well knows. She will probably respond to this review like she did the others, not honestly based on my own experience of her. I do believe the other negative reviews, having had the same experience myself.
I note Alisha doesn't tolerate bullying, yet she felt the need to threaten me over the phone because she believed I didn't answer a question when in fact I had several times. She rang me without arranging with myself first, yet Alisha wanted calls arranged. She was told to apologise and she refused. Zero accountability for her unprofessional behaviour. And who will stop her? Alisha investigates complaints into her firm herself, even if they are about her, as far as I am aware.
Alisha, members of the public do not tolerate bullying or being laughed at by your staff (as you know this can be proven, you record your calls right?). Our wellbeing is important, not your need to raise your voice. During one call with Alisha (which can be proven) she was told to stop with her unprofessional behaviour, yet she continued.
Alisha would demand that I arrange a time to speak with her, yet she fails to do this herself. Claims she cannot respond to emails straight away (never asked her to) yet responds within minutes with denial after her employees declared she was unavailable. On several occasions I gave Alisha 6 weeks to reply, 1 month to reply and so forth before chasing for a reply. Reasonable amount of time. On several occasions this was longer, respecting her time. Yet when she cancelled my arranged meeting, she failed to respect my time.
Yet when complaint made, Alisha acknowledged it within minutes, but declares she cannot respond to emails straight away. Complaint was in an email.
My last misleading conversation with Alisha she felt the need to circulate misleading information, (nothing to do with the disrepair claim) which as she knows has been reported to the police and they are awaiting to speak with her. I understand she has yet to speak with them. She is well within her rights to contact them too as she was advised that the matter was reported to the police.
This firm was contacted nearly 2 years ago and given a dropbox full of evidence to support my claim. I contacted them based on them advertising a 'no win no fee' for disrepair claims.
Fast forward 2023 and Alisha admits she has been unable to get insurance for no win no fee and this has been the case for 1 year. In that same year she advised that she was organising statement direct to take my witness statement for the claim. When I advised her I had yet to hear from them (over 6 week), she exclaimed she had not instructed them - yet. No mention of any issues with 'No win, no fee'. She failed to provide the inability to obtain insurance information for over a year to myself and later went on to not be able to give a figure of the claim worth and declared 'it did not meet the threshold' for no win no fee yet was unable to determine the value of the claim switching from 'could be 5% or....' When asked where was she getting this information from she resorted, 'the guidelines'. When she was asked, 'what guidelines?' she exclaimed, 'THE GUIDELINES!' Yet was unable to point to anything.
She alleged that her firm sent out letter before claim (11 months after being instructed), when I asked for an update to this, she blamed employee issues. Never advised myself of any issues before I asked her for an update. She declared she would send the Letter before claim again. These require a response within 20 days. Still no update until I asked and that was when Alisha cancelled an arranged meeting with myself (booked and confirmed based on her availability and mine - I put time aside for this) citing she had 'concerns'. When asked what they were, noting revealed and she later referred to these 'concerns' as not concerns'. She claimed she needed time to review my file but declared she had reviewed the file. When asked about this she declared 'she was reminding herself'.
Instructed another firm who was asked about these guidelines and there are no guidelines. This firm have been able to provide a value of the claim and made aware of the comments by Alisha and I was told 'nothing to do with your claim'. Agreed.
This firm asked me to sign paperwork again this year, when asked what this was for as there was no context, I was advised this was due to the previous paperwork signed being out of date. Well don't take nearly 2 years Alisha to deal with a claim that you had all the evidence for and don't mislead people, or threaten them on calls that prove.

The moment my case was accepted by the Phonenix Legal Solicitors team, I had a feeling that finally the greedy Landlord will understand what breaking the law means. And indeed my feelings were right. Great professional team. If you look for someone to help you don't look any further. This great team will be your answer. 100% satisfaction.

Amazing
Amazing, friendly, professional..........
Apologies to Chris for the delay in making this review and thank you for all your help in renewing my Will.
I contacted Phoenix after seeing many positive reviews on a Pensby website and after telephoning Pheonix, arrangements were made to meet with Chris very quickly to discuss renewing my Will via the fee Wills offer.
Chris was lovely, he listened to my wishes and made renewing my Will so easy. I couldn't believe how different my experience was from making my first Will, which didn't feel like I was the focal point, I felt lost and confused over the overwhelming 'Solicitor jargon'.
I felt so relaxed with Chris and the process of completing my Will was so quick and professional. Thank you again Chris, would recommend Pheonix 100%.

Dear Joe Iveson
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional service you provided to my family and me during a challenging time.
Your display of empathy and sympathy went beyond our expectations. It was evident that you genuinely cared about our situation and were dedicated to helping us navigate through it. Your professionalism shone through every step of the way, reassuring us that we were in capable hands.
I must commend you for your impeccable communication skills. Your prompt responses and clear explanations eased our worries and uncertainties. The attention you paid to the desperation we were experiencing demonstrated not only your expertise but also your genuine concern for our well-being.
It's no exaggeration to say that a mere 5-star review cannot adequately capture the extent of our appreciation. Your dedication, skill, and understanding have left an indelible mark on our family. We are truly grateful for your support during this trying time.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Joe. Your assistance has made a world of difference, and we will forever hold your kindness in high regard.
With sincere appreciation
Andrew and Isabelle Miller.

Advertising Dispute
Our business had an issue with an advertising company who claimed that they had publicised and advertised our business at Tranmere Rovers.
The dispute had been going on for over five years and they had instructed a debt collection company to recover the debt.
We instructed Alisha to help us with this matter and within four weeks, the company ceased and discontinued.
We cannot thank Alisha and the team enough for their help and support on this.

Unprofessional & Wasting Time
After wasting almost 1 year of time and energy and after multiple follow ups, they got back stating that since claim value is low, no win - no fee arrangement cannot be done and that I will have to pay the legal cost privately which was more than double the amount of the claim cost.
Weren't you aware of the claim cost £450 from the date you agreed to take up this case and sent out terms & Conditions for me to sign?
