Honest opinion about PodsBay PRODUCTS

My i500 Pro - Review

So, I’m going to divide this review / opinion in two parts.

Let’s start with the good ones?
1. The sound is VERY good, the bass is obviously more present, this is not a problem to me, but you might consider this;
2. The case is good quality, same size and with 120o opening, plastic.

And, unfortunately, that’s it for the good part :/

1. The Noise cancelation they say on the website, it’s a lie — and, before they say “please, note that noise cancelation chip effect is not like OEM”, it didn’t even work, when you try to activate on the iPhone asks to plug both pods on ears, and with the touch option direct on the buds, nothing happens;
2. The ear tip is the same as the original, but don’t expect the extra ones, its that size, and that’s it;
3. Ear test doesn’t work;
4. The transparency mode doesn’t change anything too;
5. The LED on the case is different from the OEM edition;
6. The icons on iPhone show the Airpods 2nd gen, not pro;
7. The battery percentage on system its a lie too;
8. Took me 2 hours to connect them to my phone (it kept loosing connection);
9. The ear sensor doesn’t work;
10. The battery drains ULTRA fast, don’t think it will play for more then 2 hours;
11. QI Charging takes 6 hours to charge them (0 to 100%), it’s a Baseus Original charging pad, and charges my XS Max in 4 hours;
12. And last, but not least, when ship it they didn’t send as a sample or gift, as they say on advertising, so, I’ve got to pay almost another pair in taxes.

I’m not a 100% unsatisfied, but people really need to know that what they say it’s not 100% true… This same AirPods on other sites are sold at MAXIMUM 50 bucks.. so, pay double will not guarantee you have something better, but something as the same as other Chinese stores.

Other thing that I really need to add it’s that they delete bad reviews from the website, so, you’ll only see the good ones.

To clear it up, if you want to buy this, go to Ali or something like this and buy the EXACTLY same pair of buds for 1/4 the price.

PS: after 8 days the right side doesn’t charge anymore. Tried to contact them by the return option but never got a reply.

Undelivered purchase...crooks!

I purchased some pods in January and supplied the correct address as stated on all my utility bills. Podsbay told me Spanish post could not deliver and the address was incorrect and had called me multiple times. All not true. I have been following up for 3 months now asking them to send me my pods again even willing to pay the additional postage charge. They have gone silent. These people are not to be trusted. They are thieves and crooks and their first replies were aggressive to me. Unbelievable. (and thanks China, for the corona virus....)

My i500 pro were working for like 5 min…

My i500 pro were working for like 5 min then I put them in the case when I took it out it wasn’t working and there’s no explanation it doesn’t turn on no lights even if I charge it. Plus I never recall getting my order number so I can’t even request a refund and I have proof of purchase from my PayPal and arrive so they can’t say I didn’t buy from them I need help

If I could give a 0 stars I would

If I could give a 0 stars I would. Had to wait almost 3 months to get earbuds from them, and when I do finally get them they stop charging after a week, and they look real until the stickers on the sides of the earbuds start peeling. Not to mention their support it horrible and I even tried to write a review on their website and it blaintly wouldnt let me. Dont waste your money.

Don't buy and waste your time and money.

Bought the black pods thinking that it was pretty much the same as the "apple" ones based on the stats and reviews. After using it the first day the microphone dosnt seem to work. Everyone I tried calling say they can't hear me properly.

Another issue is the pod sometimes disconnects but it connects again easily due to the apple system. (They are not even going to accept my refund or exchange with the right pod sometimes having issues)

I contacted pods bay support and they said "no where on the product description says it's suitable for calls therefore they are not liable and are not able to refund...(See picture for email response)

In my opinion it's not worth it if you CANT MAKE CALLS. I may as well use my Xiaomi ear buds or QYC for $30aud and they are much better with calls and value wise. Regret buying these and I'm pretty sure the reviews shown are fake based on my own experience.

Edit: responding to Podsbay reply after my review. Who are you to tell your customer to grow up and telling us we can't have a say/winge about your product? I am simply giving my honest review and warning so other people won't fall into situation that I'm in.

Great job on covering yourselves by saying it's not stated anywhere that this product is meant for calling. Maybe you should clearly state on your website that your earpods dosnt come with a microphone as people who buy and use earphones obviously want to make calls as well. it's 2020 and not 2002, all earphone have microphone especially if you're paying over $70(this includes GST), even basic $20 wireless earphones have it.

You purchased a pair of earbuds that people use daily to listen to music. That is what companies make them for - music listening. Nowhere on our product description of its functions and capabilities does it state it has a microphone or that it is useful or contains support for making calls/telephone services.

Sounds to me like you're just having a giant whinge about a product not having a function it never even said it had to be honest. Think perhaps you need to grow up.

Yeah so you bought a product that costs 64 dollars and compared it to a product that costs 250 dollars? And furthermore made your own *personal* assumption that it was good for making telephone calls (which is what a phone is for btw) despite it stating absolutely nowhere in the product description that it supported that function. Got it.

Our reviews are left by customers who understand what they have purchased and read the description. Which you clearly did not and now you want to blame others because you didn't take the time to read the publicly available product description of features and functions.

Hate them

I ordered some AirPods Pro type headphones on here and they are horrible in quality. On top of that you have to go through hell to get a refund. Because the company is in Australia it’s not an easy or Swift process either. I will never ever use this company again for anything and I will never recommend it to anyone. If your item is defective they even make you cover the cost of shipping it back to them which of course is expensive because it’s going overseas. I tried to send mine and they were returned because I accidentally put the wrong number. I will be trying to send mine back this week. It’s just hell to deal with them. I was hospitalized and they refused to return my defective headphones

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. When the product works as intended, it works perfectly fine with good sound and usability. Just like the original.

However, if there is a warranty issue you will have to ship your product back AT YOUR EXPENSE halfway across the world. My airpod case did not close properly and would have cost me almost $50 to ship to the Australian returns centre (im in Canada). I ended up having to buy a third party one WHICH WAS CHEAPER THAN SHIPPING.

Review and warning to their own “real reviews” section and guess what? It was never posted to they only post the best reviews and don’t publish the bad ones.

Super shady and untrustworthy.

Do your research and then decide. BTW not EVERYONE on customer service is bad, just a few.

Hey... I won't say don't buy the product because obviously a lot of people have left positive reviews (hopefully after having the product for a while). I'll just say read the good and the bad and make a judgement. I only saw the good and went ahead and bought. Hey what can I say YouTube vids can really hype up a product lol. Anyways onto why it got a low rating from me. So I received a defective product (i500 tws) where my earbuds only skips songs on left (no rewind on either and Siri doesn't activate by tap) and pauses/ plays on right. I sent an email about that issue. A nice woman spoke professional and sent me a guide to potentially resolve the issue, but I had already tried everything on that list by the time she sent that. I asked for another suggestion and she suggested I return it. I then shot another email saying I that I was a bit upset from the defect especially when I seen so many good reviews on it. I also stated my fear of returning it to potentially receiving another defective product after almost a month. Well the nice woman had pushed my message onto another employee, who well... Didn't quite get what I meant. His first two emails were basically saying I was living in "fantasy land" and just basically kept insulting me. I decided to keep it professional so it didn't seem like two kids arguing over something dumb, and had tried to get him to understand what I was trying to say and that he needs to talk to me, a customer a bit more polite. It seemed what had triggered him was the fact I had said I was a bit angry from the defect. Overall I LOVED everything else, but he took that tiny bit and started bashing me. Making assumptions that I wanted a freebie and keep the defective product. Which I don't, otherwise I wouldn't have messaged in the first place. I told him that I it arrived later than stated due to the Coronavirus. And he took that as me blaming your company for the Coronavirus saying something along the lines of, "we can't control that, you want it gone? Yeah so does the rest of the world." I was baffled, after this was supposed to be customer service. I cleared the air saying that is not what I meant in the slightest, I told him I knew the reason for the delay and i was just afraid for another delay to receive another defect! Somehow I managed to calm him down, and he finally started replying to me calmly. Like I said I loved the product aside from the defect, but that whole email had me well upset. Seeing the other reviews people have dealt with similar. I'm not saying everyone in customer service is bad, but wow this man must've not been having a good day. We ended things with me saying thank you to the both for responding to me. I'm getting this feeling like I'm gonna receive a reply to this comment from PodsBay insulting me for "not being clear to the employee" or getting upset that "I assumed the employee was insulting me when he was just so and so and just and just" Trust me y'all I think I've had enough insults, so and so's, and just and just's from y'all, so it'd be nice to receive a non insulting response from y'all. Again I'm not gonna hate y'all from ONE bad experience, y'all make these things cheaper than the original. It's remarkable how y'all are able to pull it off being pretty much exactly like the original! Seriously I was shook when I compared the two and I still am! Ok hope y'all have a good day! Also P.S. I felt bad for not being able to thank the woman who helped me first, I asked to pass my thanks to her, but knowing how upset he was he probably ignored that. So If there's any potential way she might be reading this, thanks for helping to attempt to fix my issue, didn't mean to scare you off. Ok this is long so have a good day! Bye! Oh! P.P.S. it got worse today now i can no longer skip at all but now Siri works by tap. So now I can only pause/ play and activate Siri on these.

Great while in the purchasing process then you are on your own

Great while in the purchasing process. After that you are on your own. Blackpods worked for 1 week then could not be charged anymore. Tried to contact them for warranty or repair or any communication but no response. And there is no phone number.
This is not acceptable ! Don't buy from them !!!! The product might be normally ok but without any aftersales its a great risk.

Reaction to Podsbay comment. Yes this is a real review. Sent you a mail through your website on the 27th of January. regarding ORDER #AU2684. Got a automatic answer that it has been received but that was it.

Honestly I doubt this is even a genuine review because finding the returns page on our website or the contact us section is obvious and easy.

I like them just need help to get them to work

I have had then for 12 days and only got them to connect one time and I really liked them when they conected I have an Android and they will not come up on my Bluetooth screen I have tried the drain the battery and recharge but it doesn't work I have asked them on there website to talk to a human but they send me the same thing each time they tell me to drain the bat and recharge I just want a fix for my problem

Worst Products and worst service...

This is update for my review posted below.
Are you guys serious? I have given you 5 pics in the response. Don't spread lies. I have the snapshop as well. You guys have no spine. You asked for images and I gave you 5 images that product shows different battery levels after every second and also dies in 1-2 hours. You guys seriously need a good managament. With this kind of customer service, trust me you are not gonna go too far.. Really disappointed.. Will post this review on all the youtube videos that promote your products. You are cheating people of their hard earned money..

What was posted is accurate. Your initial return request contained absolutely none of what was asked for which is legally required. It was rejected and you were told to begin a new request with the asked for information which so far you have not. Nobodies fault but your own to be honest.

No company is going to accept a return request unless you can provide photographic evidence the product is in ok condition and not smashed or broken or dropped. You didn't and refuse to provide it and until such time as you do your request will continue to be rejected.

I purchased podsbay AirPods for my…

I purchased podsbay AirPods for my daughter for Christmas. After only one month the right earphone has very little sound compared to the left. I can also hear the music playing while sitting next to her (music leaking out) I contacted support and they told me as it is over 30 days there is nothing they can do. Don’t waste your money!!!!

As support correctly stated it is outside the warranty period and there is not a single business in this area that has longer than 30 days. Also music is leaking out because it is an open ear earbud like all products in this category so that is not unusual at all.

Charging case not working when not connected to lightning cable

Since I didn’t get a reply from an email I sent a few days ago, I wanna know if I can fix my charging case for my i500 killer blackpods. It does not charge my pods unless its plugged into a lightning cable, When i open the lid, there is no green light or any sign of power. But when connected to a lightning cable, it works perfectly fine. Is there any reason for this problem?
