Podsbay support sucks. The owner whom also answers support is very rude.

I asked for some questions. Support rep assumed that I would know that if ANC does not work, transparency mode wouldn't work too. I missed one of his response about ANC being related to transparency mode because rep did not give a straight answer with prior response and I got triggered. All went downhill after that.
it seems that the support rep is actually the owner. he was bragging about his 200k weekly sales on podsbay. very arrogant person, very rude, keeps insulting customers if they have issues.

I wish I had found this site before purchasing from Podsbay. Seeing the easy that they communicate to their disgruntled customers is disgusting. Their snide remarks and brash comebacks alone should prevent you from purchasing from them.

I purchased the i30 TWS and upon receiving them found that the left headphone often comes unsynced. I saw on their website that I may need to let them die completely veggie trying to re-sync. This worked momentarily, but during my workout, the left headphone again unsynced. In all, this issue has happened 3 times in 2 days.

Additionally, the touch sensors are finicky. If you don't tap them in the perfect spot, you will likely disconnect your device.

I'm actually praying that my headphones will suddenly work because I know that they will not honor my refund... But I don't foresee that happening.

Our website quite clearly has a returns section and every email our server receives is auto-replied to with the address for a returns/exchange section. Just like any other company.
If you choose not to use it we can't force you.

And yes it would have been great if you found this site before considering we are ranked as 4/5 stars and have many happy customers who had no issues whatsoever. And again we have a clear returns section on the site (the same as any other company) if you don't want to use it I can't make you.

Thats not a snide reply thats just stating the supremely obvious. If you'd like a refund return the product. There isn't a company on the planet thats going to give you a refund unless you give them the product back. Thats just pure fantasy.

Bad product and service

In november 2019 we bought the Air i500 Pro TWS Earbuds. It is a very bad product.
- no name change possible
- we lost een soft plastic earbud, we asked for a new one (to buy) and nobody ever replies
- the product goes on the 'pause' modus all the time

The service is very bad, nobody replies on mails.

We did not reply because there are clear corporate auto-replies to every email received informing customers where to file for refunds/exchanges etc. The email you sent us was nothing other than demanding we refund you for a product that you lost parts to?

Honestly there isn't really much more to say. You lost parts and you're blaming others for your accidents.

Yet Pods Bay continue to reject my refund requests and want to pretend as though they didn’t sell me faulty earphones for like £90... not cute

The returns policy is blatant false advertising and I’ll never be buying from this company again 🥴

NOT RECOMMENDED! 30 DAY WARRANTY IS A SURE ENOUGH ILLUSTRATION

30 DAY WARRANTY??? 30 days???? How can this be with consumer protections we have in Australia? I received a faulty set and was told as they were delivered on Dec 11 (bought as a Christmas gift) I was 2 days out of warranty period. My request to return was therefore rejected. What an actual load of rubbish. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Further to the above, It was a Christmas gift and to ensure I received it in time, to gift it for Christmas, I had to purchase it two weeks prior to 25 December 2019. It then sat under the tree, wrapped, until I could gift it to my daughter. A week or two later, it stopped working and so, two days out of warranty, I am denied a return.

I could care less whether the price was $33USD or $3300. 30 DAYS warranty or “free from defects” and “fit for purpose” is not a reasonable warranty - it should work as described and it did not.

Had I have known paying the correct amount of $54.99 AUD, or for MY US Friends, $40USD would have been the equivalent of throwing my money away, I would have hung onto my money, if this is the value for money “logic” which you are applying!

AND, Apple offer 1years warranty on $239. According to YOUR cost scale, you warranty should at least be 60 days ($55/$239 or 23%, so almost 90 days compared to 12 months for genuine airpods), but you supply sub-standard product, which do not function as they should, or, our expectations are that they should likely to last a touch over 30 days, you do so in an attempt to avoid your obligations under Australian Consumer law. It’s a poor experience for ME and a snide response from a business who doesn’t seem to be concerned about their customers or reputation.

I have now, also lodged a formal complaint via the Australian Customer Consumer Commission, to ensure that REASONABLE warranties and coverage are afforded to myself and others. If your product is worthwhile, why not warrant this defect which occurred two days out of warranty?

Lastly, despite you assertions to the contrary, your warranty is difficult to find on the website, as is your Australian business number (ABN) and Australian address, but I have found them all now, after much searching, in order to lodge my response with the ACCC.

Hello! You purchased a product with a sale value to you personally of $48 AUD or for our American friends $33 USD. This price also included the delivery (which we paid for). On any metric that is considered a "cheap" product.
Your Request For Return was filed 32 days after you were delivered the product. A product that cost 48 AUD and delivery paid for by us.

Our Terms of Service and Refund Policy are publicly available (and always have been) and are very clear that 30 days since date of delivery is the warranty period.

If you would like a longer warranty period then you had the option of going to the Apple Store and paying 200+ $AUD and you would correctly expect a full and generous warranty.

I am not sure however if expecting that same level of warranty for an item you paid $48 AUD for is reasonable. Plus our policies have always been available to you, if you chose not to read them we can't force you.

We apologise if this reply is considered too "honest" for you but I feel that purchasing a product for 33 USD and asking for a full replacement 32 days later (after the expiration of warranty) and expecting warranty on a product that costs that little to last longer than 30 days is something most people wouldn't feel is normal.

No returns! They won't honer the 30 day return policy

Make sure you are ok with compromises of knock offs. If you aren't satisfied, they will not return. Even in sealed unopened box. The 30 days returns means nothing.

You submitted a return request asking us to accept your return because you had "Changed Your Mind". Doesn't matter if its in a sealed and unopened box our policy clearly excludes you asking for a return based on 0 reason other than "I bought it and now I don't feel like owning it"

We paid $$expensive INTERNATIONAL shipping costs to send that to you so we won't be accepted a return for a sealed and unopened item simply because you "Changed Your Mind" as clearly mentioned in the 30 day return policy.

It is wholly unreasonable to expect that we pay in excess of $20 USD to send an item to you, you receive that item, shrug your shoulders and then say "eh I'll just send it back I don't feel like it anymore".

We accept returns for defective items, not because you bought something and then later figured you didn't want it anymore. As clearly mentioned in the returns policy.

ONLY website that will really ship your AirPods...

Bought 2 pairs of AirPods from them, one is the TWS i500 the other one is the TWS i500 BlackPods Killer, the second one is slightly cheaper. I have been scammed by other blackpods website, I placed the order they charge my credit and they item never shipped out. So I was little bit afraid this will happen to me when I order at the PodsBay.com. But actually they surprise me with fast processing and shipping speed. They shipped out my item the second day! I even have a valid legit tracking number with it!! I am so happy about that and will recommend the podsbay to my friends!

With respect you emailed us less than 24 hours ago on a weekend demanding to know where your order was. We replied that
1) You have (and continue to be) sent automatic shipping updates
2) We paid the INTERNATIONAL shipping costs ourselves. Which are expensive. You have not paid any shipping costs.
3) You had the option of making delivery faster by choosing a Paid By You express option. But you declined to pay shipping costs.

The fact you find these answers "rude" I think speaks to the truth that you just don't like being told the facts to be honest. You didn't pay for shipping, we already replied to you and you have the option to get a faster DHL Express option but you didn't choose that.
So not really sure how any of that is our fault.

If i can give 0 star i will. I bought a pair of i500 and it came to me broken not charging wirelessly but still i accept it because i still can charge it wired. But the again i start using the left earpods then i felt so happy it was nice then when the left side was low batt, i switch to the right earpods and the volume was so low even i'm on a full volume..nothing compare to the left side. Its not low battery or anything at all..and speaking of battery the percentage of the battery in the phone for the case and the earpods is not accurate. I know what you pay is what you get but still its not right. I tried contacting them for like more than a week for atleast replacement but no one come back to me and even 1 answer abouty issue NOTHING..very disappointed i only throw away my $$$ to this garbage company..bad customer service.

P.S. I editted this review because podsbay is reporting my review. That only show that they're guilty. I can provide my order # and The confirmation email i received from them. Podsbay have a time to report bad reviews here but no time to reply to customer. I will keep puting bad reviews all around even the review video you have in youtube if you keep ignoring me. We have a returns centre on the website thats been there for over a year and is used by customers to return defective items. Its publicly available and easy to find.

Not good for the money

First of all,
They are sending product to Turkey with Yunexpress which is not trackable outside of China. However product arrived. Product page says it is sent with DHL worldwide.I deducted 1 star for this.

I also have original airpods 2 so I am able to compare this I500 with that.
Product is good, it does what it says it does;
In ear sensor works, music stops and start successfully.
First time pairing is the same as original.
Connection and battery level is the same as original. However I500 doesn't show battery level after connection.
Wireless charge works, however both case and pods gets very hot so I am not planing to use wireless charging.
sound quality is good. It is comparable to original. However I haven't tried mic quality.
Hinge doesn't feel as good as original. this is the only way to differentiate from original.

Update:
After using it for a long time now, I feel I need to provide updates to some topics:

Mic quality is very bad and podsbay also have a message in the owner manual regarding this: these pods are not designed for phone call. Because mic quality is very bad. Voice is not clear

Connection drops also started to occur when I connect to devices other than iphone. It connects and disconnects immediately after connection. This issue makes it impossible to use it with other devices.

Hopefully you never get a defective…

Hopefully you never get a defective product. First, they tell you that it's you and not them. Second, they'll ask you to return it with tracking overseas - which is half the price of the product despite having a return address when it is shipped within Canada.

Safe yourself the time and hassle, and buy elsewhere like on Amazon where sellers are forced to provide a good customer experience.

Good product

Some of my friends recommended me this site and because they had shown me what they had bought from PodsBay before I was excited to get them. Overall I would say you get what you pay for. They aren't as good as Apple but they also don't cost as much either. So keeping that in mind for the price I think they are a great choice. But if I had the money I'd get apple.

Beeping, blue blinking light after 2 weeks

I have the same exact issue as Oscar but it’s the left ear piece on i500TWS. Really disappointed as I was planning to buy a bunch of these as Xmas presents. Was told by the company to just wait til they ran out of battery and see if that fixed the problem as it happens apparently a lot? After 2 weeks of use, they are useless. I will update and adjust rating accordingly.
