I have just replied to an email from Perfect Pet Insurance which asked for my opinion on how they were handling our claim.Our Cavapoochon, Bertie, was found to have cancer in his anal gland. This necessitated the removal of both anal glands, which now has to be followed up with three sessions of Chemotherapy. I personally paid the bills I received from the vets and then they were sent to PPI for the claim. I was aware that the first £90 was my reponsibility. I was also aware that the max allowed was £4,000. They have been incredibly slow in informing me of the state of the claim. To say I am very disappointed with PPI is an under statement.

Exactly as insurance should work. My dog went down with sudden onset vomiting and rapid dehydration, requiring a couple of nights at the vet hospital. I paid the bill, informed the insurance company, and 5 days later the money was back in my account. You could not ask for more.

Very satisfied with this pet policy and the ease in which they processed my claim. My 8 month old Rottweiler masticatory muscle myosotis (lock jaw) which meant she couldn't eat. The vets diagnosed the problem quickly and treated her accordingly. After paying my initial excess the bill came to a grand which the Post Office settled with the vets immediately. Thanks to this P.O. pet policy they took all the worry out of our claim. And our "Bella" is making a great recovery and will be right as rain in no time. Highly recommend.... 10/10.
