I wish I had read the reviews before buying. Bought battery 3 weeks ago money taken right away . Battery hasn't appeared no receipt or advice sent No reply to email . Just opened a dispute through PayPal . What a pain in the neck !

I would give them 0 stars if I could, I have the same story as every other buyer here but the only difference is I bought it on coogo.biz. The paypal details are all the same and upon googling power-supplier.co.uk reviews I have come across this page.

Recently I wrote a very negative review of this company regarding my order of a battery for my laptop computer. I was very discouraged as there were none of the usual notices of anticipated delivery or even that an order had been placed! I was also not happy with the responses I received to my queries as regards when it would arrive. Well it finally did arrive, it is the correct battery and I am a happier customer.
This Chinese company that appears to be based in UK could use some input on how best to work with customers in the West who likely have different expectations. That would save everybody a lot of grief including PayPal who had to process my request for refund (denied appropriately). I would suggest for one they not send out replies under the large bold print SERGIE BRIN label. So I am changing my review from 1 star to 3 stars.

I ordered a power supply for my Del computer but I never received the item. I sent a couple of messages to customer services, but the replies were very evasive, lots of apologies and no definition of delivery details. Don’t trust this company. I hope they have the decency of giving my money back.

guys i ordered a laptop battery and i never recieved it there is no customer service no phone number where u can contact .absolute joke ..never buy anything from uk power supplier guys they stealing money from you . i email them many times but no answer.

I actually got a battery for my laptop (which also seems to work!), but the battery was physically larger than specified hence my laptop no longer fits its docking station. I have spent weeks emailing trying to get a replacement battery, but the seller insists that I shall return the battery at my own expense. The worst part is the communication with the seller: he/she has poor English skills and the communication moves in circles with no real progress. Frustrating!

A final ending to my story of ordering a laptop battery from 'Power-Supplier.co.uk aka 'Guo Hongfei', back in April. After leaving my poor review of this company and pressing the option button to copy my review to the company itself, I was very soon contacted by email by a Chinese representative of the company at about 3am. Clearly they were emailing from China itself, which is 8 hrs ahead GMT / 7 hrs ahead of BST. That would have been between 10 and 11 am in China.

The rep' was clearly worried by my review, explaining that they could not stop the battery being delivered because it had already left the warehouse the same day as ordering. (S)he asked me to take down my review if they refunded me straight away. I told them I wanted a refund, but made no promise about taking down my previous review. They did refund me via PayPal. I said I would wait to see if the battery arrived and that if it did, I would not take delivery of it. To my knowledge, the battery never arrived.

In view of what happened, it is important that this and my previous review and all the rest of the 37 bad reviews stay posted, to help warn others who are thinking of buying from this company.

This company needs either to clean up its act or stop trading.

I saw a Toshiba battery. The same as mine. I decided to buy it. In the website it says that arrives between 3-7 work days. Arrived after two months (strange for something that as a UK address), a different battery (fake). And its not working. They using original brands to sell garbage...
I contact the seller and allways answered. Now they want me to sent it back to make the testes (maybe more 6 months) this address

I don't know what to do. I believe it goes to the technician, he will say that is everything ok and they send me the garbage again and still my money. The costs will be unsoportable...

I confirm the others commentarie. This is a scam. They send me a battery that doesn't work. Go away from this seller. Chinese scam.
Bad customer service. They only steal your money

Similar to other customers with a tale of terrible service and what I would describe as essentially theft of my cash. Ordered a laptop battery and paid by credit card but mysteriously got a PayPal type confirmation which made be suspicious. Email contact has all been in poor English so its not a UK based company and are I believe based in China. So my cash is gone and I have not received my battery so am posting this in order to help other would be customers to avoid being ripped off.

Paid and never received my order. No customer support. No phone number where they can be reached. Update. They gave me a refund finally. Worst company ever.

Totally a scam company. don't buy anything from here. I was trying to buy a computer battery at May 29, 2018. Almost two months, I wrote several emails to this garbage company and got nothing.

I had to wait 10 days for my order and when it finally arrived it wasn't even the correct battery! I can't even email their support as their customer support doesn't work. I've requested a full refund through paypal so hopefully I'll get my money back.

Ordered a computer battery from Guo Hongfei - UK power supplier. Received email to confirm delivery would be in 7 - 10 days. Did not receive the battery so emailed the company they informed me that the battery had been returned to them because no one was in to sign for it and a refund would be issued. What delivery company does not leave a card to say tried to deliver something!! Despite several more emails to the company to try and get a refund I get no response from them my emails are being ignored. I have now taken this up with PayPal in the hope they can get the money refunded.

After taking out a case with PayPal the money has been refunded, should not have to do this to get a refund. Thank you PayPal.

FRAUD
I paid for a battery that I never received. I asked to refund me but they never did.

I ordered the wrong laptop battery from this company on 15 May 2018 and sent them an email to cancel the order within 40 minutes. They acknowledged my email but still sent the battery. I sent another email on 23/5/18: "The item has now arrived. Please let me know the return address and an RMA number if needed. Thank you."

The company operates from a .CO.UK website with .co.uk repeated all over it and state their address in Portsmouth PO3 5FL (which is convenient as I actually live near Portsmouth). But after long delaying tactics, they have finally given me a return address in China!!!

I'm happy to return the item to the UK address on their website but, as I'm sure they know, it is illegal to send batteries to China through Royal Mail.

This company has a disgusting reputation for selling dud batteries and have tried this same tactic before to prevent returns. See posts by Graham Wilkins and others below.

I have now escalated a claim with PayPal. I'll let you know how I get on.

BTW, I see they have given their own company three 5-star reviews in April last year (one actually under the name 'Power Supplier' - a bit of a giveaway! - and two more under aliases).

Despite explaining that I couldn't mail to China in the PayPal claim, I received an automated email reply from PayPal demanding "To receive your refund, we need to confirm that you send the item back to the seller".

So I followed the advice given in other reviews below, phoned PayPal directly (saying a codeword to bypass automated) and got passed through to a lady in Accounts. She confirmed my money would be refunded without returning the item. The refund immediately appeared on my PayPal account and was back in my B/card account within days.

Received the battery no problems, However this failed within 30 days of receipt. That is when the problems started, They purport to be a British supplier !!! they are not, they have a warehouse in Portsmouth.
They requested that the battery is shipped back to the factory in china before they would replace this (At the Buyers Cost). The cost to ship a Lithium battery back to china was greater than the original battery cost.
This is a great ploy to stop people returning faulty Goods.
My advise is give this company a miss and buy from a genuine UK Supplier.

Ok, so a lot of stuff you put up with online, but I ended up accusing this company of just being BOGUS. Ordered laptop battery for our daughter's sony vaio - b**ger all appeared. Three weeks of emailing and the response was 'make sure to recharge battery and discharge several times'. IE advice about what to do with the product that never arrived. Complained to Paypal, whom I paid by - long-winded forced to RE-contact the company again (if it really exists as a functioning entity, not just a website!), then kick off a dispute resolution blahdeblah...PITA plain and simple - steer clear. There's a German company on ebay sells same products, not 'bait' prices like this fake company, but an actual, real product. This power-supplier lot, they are bogus as far as I can see, their prices are just under the lowest prices on the web, and their specs are just at the top end - absolute empty, scamming, baitmongers. Keep this drama out of your life - use a high-rated ebayer instead (99.5% etc).

Not an English company, but chinese. No customer service with phone. I received a battery for my laptop 5 weeks after I bought it. Not only that, it was the wrong battery. The package came from China, not from England. Fraudulent.
