Can't use lid to compress Tuna to remove excess water and have cut myself again trying to get last bit of Tuna from tin after it gets stuck under lip.
Although I like your Tuna it is no longer on my shopping list until you revert back to old style tins.

Unable to open Tin

I love Corned Beef, but on trying to open tis tin I was mystified. I took the 'key ' off the top of the tin, but there was no leaf to attach it to, to open the tin. I took all the paper label off, and still there was no such leaf. Ending up blunting a knife to get into it, as it is oblong, a normal tin opener would not work. Where is the QC at the end of the production. I will be buying other makers CB from now on, ridiculous.

Disappointed with their customer service

I bought a pack of 6 tins of Branston beans with a ring pull as I have arthritis. EVERY single tin when the pull was lifted broke off in my hands. I complained and after many weeks of tooing and froing I was sent £3 worth of vouchers. As yet not one single supermarketwill honour them. So absolutely nothing from Princes foods. Bought a 6 pack of Heins beans and they are just fine. So won't be buying Branston again. I did not know Princes made Branston beans and I would have expected better from such a well known company.

By far one of the most terrible company to ignore problems…

By far one of the most terrible companies out there. I normally purchase quite a few cans of Tuna, after opening a pack of 4 Tuna chunks in oil, I contacted the company as it was basically mush in every tin. Out of the 4 packs, the contents wouldn't make a tin of chucks if they were somehow stuck together! I have emailed the company 5 times and Not Once have I had a reply, you are basically ignored, it appears that they cannot be bothered to answer. So, I have stopped buying Princes brands altogether, as there is clearly a problem and the company doesn't want to know! Labeling these Tuna Chunks is wrong because whats inside is mush. I have switched to another brand now as Princes are not cheap and the quality is shocking. Princes you had your chance to rectify this, but you either employ people who cannot be bothered to respond when a consumer has a problem with what you are selling. In this day and age of shoppers, you must really want to be the losers.

We tried the apple slices

We tried the apple slices. What a disappointment when compared to the ham and tuna.
The apples are tasteless not fit for anything.
Flavour so faint it is hard to tell if it is apples or pears.
Disappointed.

Princes Tuna Big Rip Off

I have purchased Princes products for many years but lately I have noticed that a particular favourite is nothing short of a rip off as the already tiny tins are only half full.

The photos that I have show quite well why I have become disappointed with Princes Group products Princes Tuna Chunks in spring water but no way to attach then here.

Over time it has been noted that the depth of the tins has decreased as a cost cutting measure to prevent price increases, you get less for the same cost, every company uses this practice to keep price increases in check but lately I have noticed that there is also far less inside the tins as well.

This is the second time that we have purchased a multi pack of Princes Tuna Chunks in spring water but when opened the tins were only filled half full, the photos that I have show one tin half full the other not more than two thirds full which is not acceptable.

When I looked on the label for the product quantity there was nothing listed which surprised me because I would have thought that Trading Standards would have insisted that the contents were being listed.

It was not possible to contact Princes Group products Customer Services by email to send the photo’s as the web form on their site will not allow attachments.

As I wanted to send the photo’s I contacted Cameron Mackintosh who is listed as Princes Group products CEO but my two emails sent to this person have been totally ignored which speaks volumes about his attitude toward his companies customers.

If you like Tuna and want value for money I strongly advise you to choose a different brand because as mentioned Princes Tuna is a rip off as the tins are very small and only half full.

Plastic Wrapping

I like the tuna but the plastic wrapping around the multi-pack tins splinters off and goes everywhere, sticking to everything and mixing up with the food if you're not careful.
