Not interested in my business

I have been using q book for 6 years, they have been great. However after being mis sold a website I have asked for help. I have been told to spend more time designing my website. I paid for website design for my pub. I have no food times, no opening times. I'm told I need to do this myself. I've asked how i complain and been ignored. This is having a detrimental effect on my business and my life. A professional could have designed a great website for less money.

I'm so sorry to hear that you have been disappointed with the Website Redesign. We offer a templated design service, whereas you pick the design of your choice and we build your content (text, images, awards etc) into the design to personalise it to your business. We had emailed you a demonstration and the only thing which separates the demonstration and finished product - is your content. For these reasons, we're a touch unsure why you believe you have been mis-sold? From spending time with you, I know that your disappointment is mostly based around the functionality of the Website Editor itself. After speaking with you at length, I know you much prefer a different CMS, which is fine and, from you explaining its capabilities - I understand why. However, our Editor doesn't claim to be anything different than exactly what it is. I have taken on board all of your comments and your suggestions about where you believe we can make improvements; this has been passed over to our developers - thank you for this! As promised, I will continue to work hard on the Website; whether we edit together or you instruct me to make changes on your behalf. I know this time of year is a super busy time for you so, please feel free to contact me whenever. As mentioned numerous times in the past, I am 100% committed to making sure you love this website.

We joined the Queensborough Group…

We joined the Queensborough Group September 2014. Before that we used Visit Scotland's internet booking system and hoisted our web sites in the USA. We are a small to medium sized Bed and Breakfast in central Aberdeen and changing to the channel manager with direct links to Booking.com,Expedia etc was a major change to our booking procedures.
The Staff at Queensborough were very helpful, friendly and the technical staff ensured we made the transaction hassle free.
April 2017 we changed our web hoisting from the USA to Queensborough. It was not a easy transaction but the staff at Queensborough ensure a successful outcome and their web design for our site was excellent.
Recently we approached them concerning the lower activity generated from our site. The Account Manager contact me and l found her very helpful and productive and we spent several hour amending and upgrading my site.The outcome is that the activity is better and hopefully it will keep improving. I live in an area where 5 years ago we had the highest occupancy rate mid week in the UK.
Now because of the lower price in oil and number of new hotels built locally we have the lowest occupancy rate in the UK. We live in a highly competitive market and l was very grateful for the knowledge gained and the caring help given. l would highly recommend Queensborough to the Guesthouses and Bed and Breakfasts.

Queensborough Group

Queensborough Group – such a good business to work with.
We have been using the Q-Book booking system and channel manager for what must be 7 years, having transferred from a major player with a commission-based model. We were attracted by Q-Book’s fixed and reasonable annual price and more responsive customer service, and I must say it was a great move which is why we’re still with them. The system is intuitive, stable, high-quality and perfectly matches our needs. Upgrades are quite regular, which often bring features that soon become invaluable. Staff are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. On calling, more often than not the initial staff contact is able to resolve the query, but with more complicated requests the IT staff are efficient and skilled.
A few years ago we decided to also move to a Queensborough managed website (a tough decision as I didn’t really want to cede total control) but that was a great move too. We’re delighted with the site’s flexibility, easiness to update, and responsiveness.
Queensborough Group staff evidently take their jobs seriously and the company is keen to keep improving and developing. I feel that feedback is really taken on board and the needs of customers is their focus. Would heartily recommend to other B&Bs and small hotels.

Hassle free and endless patient!

We have been with Queensborough Group for about 6 years now and could highly recommend to any B&B. The service is second to none and endlessly patient. They designed and maintain our website with minimal input required from us. The integration of our information and inventory to other Booking Channels is seamless and effortless, and any issues that have arisen - ALL arising from my own human error - have been swiftly resolved. The Q-Book system is very easy to use - even I can manage! A special thanks to my Account Manager - Amy - who is always cheery, endlessly forgiving and, most importantly, always able to sort it out!

Having been with the Queensborough…

Having been with the Queensborough Group for sometime now I find their service excellent - Nothing is too much trouble and they sort the problem very quickly. Having struggled for years with websites my life is now hassle free with the Queensborough Group. I also cannot believe I have managed to sort and make the site with their help. Friendly and amusing they are a joy to deal with and the highest praise. A big thank you.

Fab Channel Manager

We have worked with Queensborough Group for just over 12 months now and being new to the B&B business we were unsure of what to expect. We were not disappointed!! our Account Manager - Amy has been there as a constant reassurance and has supported us every inch of the way.
We would highly recommend Queensborough Group to anyone, as our Channel Manager they have been fantastic, thank you for all of your support.

Very Happy

Very Happy. Used system for 3 1/2 years. I must admit I was irritated at the glitches with the re-vamped qbook but the changes have been well worth it. I think the mobile interface itsn't 100% (scrolling issues and opening bookings) but not a big issue. Website revamp is all good, and only just moved to the channel manager for one of the booking sites, and it is excellent. If they improved functionality on the invoicing side I'd stop using 3rd party software! Also User level permissions to restrict access to reporting and other areas would be useful if they could implement

A five star review for a five star company…

As the owners if a small bed and breakfast business, we have been with Queensborough Group since 2008 when they created our first web page, which was great. They followed that with the easy to use on line booking system Q-Book.
We are highly satisfied will all aspects of their service. All the staff are efficient, helpful, highly professional and very friendly too, which is such a bonus, for all telephone enquiries. Their on line support system is excellent too
They have just created for us a wonderful new web page, which is so modern and stylish, it makes our Five Star Gold Award bed and breakfast business look amazing. It is fully interactive and we can up date it ourselves. New on line bookings with Q Book arrived the same day as it went live a week ago.
Many thanks to all the staff, we highly recommend Queensborough Group.

I love it. I think the system is fantastic

I love it. I think the system is fantastic.....and I'm not kidding I have more flexibility with my room designations, pricing and descriptions I can email my guests asking them for feedback upon departure I can manually adjust availability with guest details - even more now I can add a quick reservation I can see where my guests have come from. The whole thing is great!

Excellent service and support

We would just like to tell you how delighted we are with the new website which Queensborough Group have created for us; and with the excellent service and support we have received from you and your colleagues throughout the process. Although our old website was looking very dated, we were aprehensive about making a change thinking that the process would be expensive, time consuming and disruptive to our on-line presence. In fact we need not have worried because Queensborough have made it so easy, quick ( it was up and running in about 36 hours!) and excellent value for money. We selected a standard template, wondering whether it would be able to reflect the individuality of our property and never imagining that the finished article could look so fantastic. Our old website was content managed for us by a local firm. The Queensborough system, which came along with the new website is brilliant. It gives us complete control over our content and is so easy to use. We are really enjoying playing with it and keeping our website updated and refreshed. The fact that everything is linked to Q-book makes it completely synergistic and so simple to use. At first we had lots of questions and requests for tweaks here and there which were answered and dealt with promptly and without any fuss or additional cost. Faultless service from everyone at Queensborough! Thank you Amy and thanks to all your colleagues at Queensborough who have helped us with this and produced such an excellent result.

Queensborough Group is one of the best…

Queensborough Group is one of the best companies I have dealt with in the 13 years I'have run a bed and breakfast. Their system is easy to use, visually as well as technically. As a company they are the MOST responsive I have ever experienced. They really do listen to their customers and if a suggestion I make is a viable option they act on it often immediately.The staff are always cheerful, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Their prices are reasonable and the channel manager is free to use. I have never had any problems with the system and guests seem to find it easy to use as well.

Very Poor Customer service!

So.... the June email in re May account stats! ........ unable to access our business stats for May ! [access points still grayed out]

Have received no booking as a result from signing up with Q-book/Queensborough! and as for their customer service!????
I find it very interesting that despite the issues we are having and the amount of apparent visitors per month from Q-Books email not one booking has been made to our bed and breakfast???

Again we would advise very careful consideration on signing up with The Queensborough Group/Q-Book.

30th May No resolution cannot access my account statistics!
Absolutely no customer care from Queensborough please take careful consideration when dealing with Queensborough, I have wasted hours and hours of time dealing with them to no avail.

Having signed up with this company 2 months ago am unable to login into my account and access my statistics again.
Have spent over 2 hrs of my time dealing with support and account personnel, despite giving them access to my computer failed to resolve the problem. The services I have paid for I have not received when asking to speak to their Director it was declined as was a refund.
I find this company very unprofessional and unhelpful with virtually no customer empathy.
I would not recommend the Queensborough Group.

In answer to your recent reply my account manager has not been in contact today despite again telephoning and trying to speak to Amy but instead had to leave a message with Gill to ask her to telephone me this afternoon!
And for the record I still cannot access my account! The user id etc is still greyed out for the problem I have had from day one.

At least have the professionalism to leave a name on your comments.

As I'm sure you will agree; no software can 100% guarantee that there will never be a technical issue but, what we can do is reassure you that we will go above and beyond to make sure you receive the very best in customer service/technical assistance/support. We are responsive and react to any issue brought to our attention immediately. We agree that for a small period of time a technical issue had arisen but, we made it our mission to fix the problem and eradicate it thereafter. Our technical team downed tools to assist you and the problem was fixed after remotely logging into your computer. We offered to spend more time to do further testing on various browsers and devices so we could be absolutely certain this wouldn't be a problem for you or for any of our other customers in the future - to which you refused. We appreciate, wholeheartedly that you have a business to run but, as we were already in your computer - it would have been zero disruption. The timeframe you mention in your review ( from viewing our call records is, in fact, incorrect) was due to the fact that you refused our offer of a callback. We thought it would be less disruptive and less time-consuming to call you back, therefore, not hogging your phone line (and potentially preventing any telephone enquiries reaching you) and in general - wasting your time. All we can do is apologise that you didn't find this to be satisfactory but, based on past experience our customers have found this to be more time-effective. The technical issue you had experienced did not compromise your exposure on our Distribution Networks and more importantly did not create a barrier for people to view your advert, contact you, send you an enquiry or anything that we should be doing for you. If your advert was not publicly visible and we had essentially prevented people from booking with you or caused a detrimental effect your business - we would agree that remittance would have been appropriate and fair. For the reasons stated above; we decided (after careful consideration) to not refund your subscription fee. I hope that we can look towards the future and build a positive relationship with you again; we are here and happy to help - anytime you need us.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Your account manager has again been in touch with you. We have just done some further testing and I can confirm once again – the issue with your dashboard has been rectified. If you wouldn’t mind spending a little more time on this (as at the end of the day we want to help you) could you please disclose to your account manager why you think the problem hasn’t been fixed? We have thousands of clients with none of them other than yourself with any issues with the dashboard– the system works perfectly? I know you're more than IT savvy so, I don't want to insult you and ask if it's a problem with your browser or if you need to reboot your router but, we are utterly perplexed that you cannot see it working perfectly.
