Booking system for campsite

There was a lot of support while setting up the online booking system for our campsite. Emails were always answered promptly, and staff members were kind enough to ring and talk us through the process when our IT skills were letting us down! It’s early days but we’ve had bookings coming in and all seems to be going smoothly!

If the last few weeks are anything to go by, you are in for a belter of a season :) Now that Q-Book has replaced your website enquiry form - it's all about online bookings from here on whoop!
Having entered the realms of a Channel Manager, you'll find that Q-Book centralises all your bookings.
From one calendar, you can see bookings generated from your website, Pitchup!, Campsites.co.uk, Hipcamp and any other sites you decide to integrate.
The sync removes vulnerabilities and can cut your days in half by reducing admin tasks.
In addition, the auto-payments function (modern-day/game-changer) will automate and streamline all deposits and balances.
No longer will you manually have to take BACS payments or update outstanding balances - it's all done automatically for ease for you and your guests - happy campers all around!

Q-book are a fantastic channel manager, very personal and all the services you need within the system, with developments in their tech always ongoing.
Jane is a literal superstar, and query I have had had she has been so efficient at helping me solve any issues. Would 100% recommend.

Not because moving to Q-Book is difficult, but mainly because you are used to a different way of doing things and there's nout wrong with that! We like to spend lots of time with our customers to ensure that your personal configuration of Q-Book is bob on! At the end of the day, you use Q-Book every day and it has to work for you! So, if something doesn't feel perfect, it's likely a simple setting needs changing. Whatever you need that will make your life easier - give us a shout - we'll do all that we can for you :) Sophie was especially on a mission to ensure that Q-Book works for you and that you feel confident using our software! You won’t find a better and more…

You won’t find a better and more sincere booking site group to work with! Before I fully understood all the intricacies of my Queensborough booking site, I considered changing away from them. Soooo glad I didn’t do it. There’s no other group who would offer the brilliant support that they offer to me, whenever I need it! Jonathan and Sophie had both helped me out numerous times and I couldn’t imagine leaving Queensborough now. Their rates are very affordable and the staff are lovely! I highly recommend Queensborough Group as your booking service.

An professional company with a down to earth customer approach

All the team members at Qbook who I have dealt with have been so patient, friendly and supportive, nothing felt like it was any trouble and ensured they took any stress away from particularly the technical side of things. A special mention to Jane for her extremely patient and straightforward approach helping me connect all my various platforms. I can’t recommend them enough.

Excellent Company

Queensborough is an excellent company; the staff are friendly, professional, incredibly knowledgeable and very swift to reply if need be. Both our website and reservations calendar are paramount in the running of our business and simplify the bookings process; efficient for us and for our guests.

I have been with Q Book now since 2018…

I have been with Q Book now since 2018 and from the first interaction to date I have had nothing but great service rom the whole team. Any query that I have or finding my way around the system is answered and dealt with with such care. The system it's self works amazingly and has many features to make my presence visible on the internet. I have nothing but praise to give.

I have worked with Queensborough Group…

I have worked with Queensborough Group since 2016 and I have to say, they are absolutely brilliant. Their staff are all so lovely, patient, helpful and of course know these systems thoroughly. They are always willing to help on anything and are very happy to talk you through things in a way that is so easy to understand!
As for the booking system, it couldn't be easier and it has everything you need and makes online bookings so simple and fool proof. I absolutely love the Qbook system and I highly recommend this to everyone!

In these difficult times, we understand the importance of direct revenue instead of handing over hefty sums of commission to OTA's. We got you! We can see you are making excellent use of Additional Services and generating extra rev for your campsite.
Selling extras like fire pits and logs generates money for your campsite but also helps you to prepare your pitches for your guests.
This leads to happy guests which generate great reviews which attract new audiences. We hope you take some time to enjoy yourself while the campsite is closed.

Have dealt with queensborough for a…

Have dealt with queensborough for a number of years now and always find them friendly and efficient. It's a simple on line booking platform where you see everything at a click. What I liked most of all and was the deciding factor in going with Queensborough, was that I could decide how many lead days for bookings. So many said sorry, guests can book on the day and that was not what I wanted. I wanted total control and that's what I got with Qbook. Never had a problem with the system either and if I need advice it's like asking a buddy. Keep up the great work guys.

Q-Book is a solid booking platform

Q-Book is a decent booking platform for campsite, glamping sites and holiday parks. It was presumably set up initially for hotels and on that level means the team behind it do have plenty of experience of booking systems and customer requirements.

We have used a number of booking systems in the past 7 years, including Anytime Booking and Bedful, as well as systems on Pitchup, Airbnb and elsewhere. Q-Book rates highly amongst them.

Q-Book is certainly one of the more cost effective options (the thing which attracted us most) and has a much greater degree of detail than Bedful offers, for example. However, it does suffer from a lack of direct connections to other platforms, despite the advertising of this as a feature (looking at the current list, this does seem to be improving so perhaps that's old news). You can still use iCal links for other sites in most cases but it takes quite a lot of manual work to get done.

All in all, Q-Book is definitely a system worth considering. Customer service is excellent and you get plenty of support on set-up. The review system is handy and you can display these with a widget on your website. There's good analytics available, though some of the reporting is difficult to work out and not as straightforward as I'd expect it to be.

So, as you very kindly state, we have plenty of experience. However, as the marketplace has adapted - so have we. We have seen demand for camping, glamping and self-catering. We are loving and thriving within this new (to us) sector. However, our software is a product of the experience and knowledge we gain from our camping/glamping customers.
For this very reason, we listen to all suggestions and feedback and work tirelessly to reinvent Q-Book to suit the industry, never forgetting all our other customers' needs. We have done lots of research and were surprised at how much some campsite systems charge. A pitch is a fraction of a room price. In keeping, we launched the 20p/50p pitch/glamping booking fee. As hotels and camping are worlds apart - we believe the pricing structure needs to be. Thanks for your kind comments about our price! We are also incredibly flattered to be compared to Bedful, an industry leader who offers a brilliant system. We beat them on price, yes. However, we massively respect their booking platform and long may their success continue.
Our integration list continues to grow, especially our API integrations. You'll only see iCal integrations where an API isn't available from a third party. It doesn't mean to say it won't change in the future. When it does - we'll be on it like a car bonnet! Thank you again for your lovely comments about our staff and friendly support.

Experience the best -The Queensborough Group

I have used the Queensborough Group for all of my online B &B +services for several years now and have never been disappointed, just more impressed as each year passes! They continually strive to find new ways to enhance and promote your business, have useful updates, new ideas, often solutions to offe and are always there for you.
Their service is friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and (so unusual in this day and age ) made personal to you and your business needs when you are requesting information or assistance..
For me, I find the the fact that I can actually speak directly to a listening member of the team at any time and receive accurate, very timely follow-up/ guidance from them to be invaluable and quite remarkable in these times.
