Tea is fantastic Best I’ve ever tasted but as I live in Japan I had to pay many extras. Of course I paid the post from England then I had to pay an extra post in Japan plus tax in Japan I also paid the tax of England. It would’ve been nice if they were discounts for over a certain amount, I bought over 200 pounds worth of tea. Also for sending abroad customers it would be nice to take off the English tax, I have dealt with some companies who do this as a routine. Please think about these for future customers including myself. Thank you

There's a few points that we do want to clarify as we think there's somewhat of a misunderstanding regarding the very complicated import / export rules. Firstly, in the United Kingdom, tea is free from tax and therefore we do not charge VAT on our products. When you import items into a foreign country however, there's an expectation that import duties will need to be paid, which is why we wrote to you in advance of sending your consignment to ensure there were no unexpected surprises. I'm sure you'll understand that we cannot influence any charges related to import costs imposed by the Japanese authorities.
Perhaps we didn't explain it in enough detail but we upgraded your postage service from standard to International Tracked, with our compliments. This actually amounted to a 45% discount on the shipping fee that was charged to you.
Our website is set up to handle straightforward e-commerce transactions and in our info pages we explain that we're always happy to consider special deals on higher volume purchases, next time please email us at hello@quinteassential.co.uk as we would be more than happy to quote a discounted price.
We realise that our website can be improved to provide a better, and clearer, experience to non-UK shoppers, which is why we've temporarily suspended purchases from abroad. We're still able to sell tea to non-UK shoppers but will do this on a personal basis via e-mail to ensure we maintain our very high standards of customer service.
Hope this has brought some perspective to the valuable feedback you've provided and happy to answer any other queries via e-mail.

Introduced to the company by a popular relaxation and spa in Liverpool (Maya Blue Wellness). Absolutely stunning flavours and very relaxing. We had to purchase our own supply. No hassle and came freshly packed in immaculate condition. Looking forward to trying a few of the other teas now we know where to find you!

These teas are a pure delight. I'm very particular about tea, especially the brewing times and so I especially appreciate the QR codes on the packets. These lead you to a piece of music that both compliments the tea and lasts for the time it takes to brew. This, in my opinion, is a work of genius.

Received a gift voucher from a friend for tea, picked a selection of different varieties and they arrived the next day. Fantastic choice of flavours to suit everyone’s tastes. Received an added bonus of some individual teabags which I hadn’t chosen allowing me to sample flavours I wouldn’t normally have tried. Great service.
