Overall, excellent experiences with Rab. However, not certain what the “sales and use tax” is, which essentially doubles the usual sales tax. Never saw this coming.

Warm and good fit coat
Paid £33 for the wash service and logos hanging off
Paid £33 for the wash service of a RAB Down jacket. I requested the logos were replaced as the were peeling. They replaced them with a different colour (which is fine) but the new ones are not stuck properly and are hanging off straight out of the return packaging.
RAB service centre and customer service as not getting back to me at all, will approach card company for a charge back.

Game Changer
RAB jacket repair service!! Cheap prices! Absolute game changer!
...And I thought I couldn't love RAB any more
After 3 Rab jacket pocket zips…
After 3 Rab jacket pocket zips splitting from the bottom I have to say I’m not trying anymore.
I work outside and the outside pocket is an essential point for me.

It's wonderful to find a company…
It's wonderful to find a company aligned with nature and working to keep our bodies warm, healthy and outdoors! I appreciate the attention to using recycled products and reducing the toxic load. I am warm, stylish and living in my values with the Rab logo on my heart.
£450 coat might as well be a bin liner
Had it 4 weeks. Kept in wardrobe. Only went out to restaurants in it. Got it out the wardrobe to find a rip in the coat arm. £450 of coat ripped within 4 weeks and not even used for its desired purpose of walking etc
Rab won’t sort this through warranty. What on earth is this coat meant for??
I’ve gone down the repair route. £23 which is not even my point. It’s the fact such a reputable company are quick to refuse help given I know for a fact I didn’t cause no rip.

Poor Quality, Badge Fell Off!
Bought at RAB jacket, Cirrus Flex 2. Initial thoughts were it was decent, then after a period of time, just outside of warranty the stitching started to come apart on the sleeves & the RAB branding on the front started to peel of, initially showing AB then the B then totally fell off. Wonder if thats by design so folk can't identify the make of the jacket when the stitching is coming apart. Would I buy another, not after this experience no.

Wash service ruined my jacket
Sent a near immaculate down jacket for a wash for it to come back completely ruined!
The insulation is clumped up in EVERY section.
I’ve bought A LOT of Rab equipment over the years. Needless to say, I’ll be going elsewhere from now on.

Very poor customer service
Sadly, my experience with the RAB customer service department has been very poor! My Rab waterproof, which is within the warranty period, was leaking through the back taped seam when I used it in heavy rain. I have only used it about 6 times. The customer service department's first response was to tell me to reproof it despite, me telling them it had had minimal use. After 9 days of e mails, they eventually asked me when I had bought it and confirmed it was within the warranty period and the best option would be to send it back so they could test it - letting me know the process took about 3 weeks before they would be able to tell me the outcome. My experience has been very frustrating, unsatisfactory and I felt I wasn't being listened to. I eventually gave up and took the waterproof back to a Cotswold Outdoors branch where I had purchased it - the staff member was great, explaining about the warranty and the process - I am waiting to hear the outcome! This experience with the Rab customer service has certainly made me think twice about buying more RAB items - a real shame!!!

Disappointed with Rab Customer Service
I’m British but live in the French Alps and bought a Rab Nexus Women's Hoody In the summer from a small outdoor shop in Grassington whilst visiting family. Returned home to France and noticed a hole in the material on the cuff, 3 pin holes on the left arm by the Rab logo and a couple of pin holes on the right sleeve.
Having heard great things about their customer service I contacted them direct and they have unhelpfully referred me back to the supplier. Living in France, it would be far easier to deal with them direct and cut out the ‘middleman’. Disappointed with their customer service.

…Grouchy website fixed in a flash
A one-off technical glitch was keeping my payment from going through. A 2-minute call to the customer support line had me back in business, and my order was completed. Would recommend to a friend!
excellent service
I sent away a 10 year old event waterproof jacket to the repair service to replace 2 zips. I got an email reply that stated that to repair the jacket may cause extra damage due to the age of the jacket but offered a full refund of the repair fee, recycle the jacket and they gave me a goodwill discount off a new jacket from their website. I've just ordered a new Rab jacket and am looking forward to it's arrival. Well done Rab.
Disappointing
Bought a Rab Downpour jacket not so long ago, and the first thing that happened when i tried it on was one of the tightening straps ripped off with very little force. Since then i have had the zipper break, big problems with the waterproofing, and gotten a hole in the fabric from a simple scratch from a tree branch. I expected better quality from you guys since your sleeping bags are great, but this was a huge huge disappointment and has made me question staying loyal to the company at all.
I have bought more Rab products than i can count on my fingers so this was truly disappointing. I expected better.

Superb repairs & fantastic service.
Just had my microlight jacket returned from the Rab repair centre and had to comment. I have had this jacket for approximately 8 to 9 years and it has served me well but was a bit worn out! The return to Rab was easy & well organised. I had the main zip, a pocket zip & a wash carried out. The jacket was returned really quickly with the requested works carried out & with both pockets inner linings repaired too! A huge thank you to Tina for carrying out the repairs to a superb standard. All in all it has saved me buying a replacement jacket & being able to keep my old faithful. It isn't cheap but you pay for quality & a lot cheaper than buying a new jacket! I am not affiliated to Rab or anyone else, just a very satisfied customer.
Exceptional service
I recently had my Rab insulated jacket cleaned and treated by their service center. It is approx 8yrs old and has been well used. The jacket was returned quickly and beautifully clean, unfortunately it did let in rain across the hood/shoulder line. I contacted the company and their response has been what you might hope for but rarely get. A refund and apology, and an option to return the item for a fully funded rewash and treatment.I shall,in good grace, only accept one option but what a great after care. Thank you very much Rab
Great Company … but surprise charges.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service and top advice on what jacket I should buy for a trip to Antarctica,
Prompt answers to questions and very, very swift delivery. Jacket, Neutrino Pro, fab. Well made, warm and stylish. Just the thing for my trip.
Thank you.
Rab Cirrus Hut Slippers are very soft…
Rab Cirrus Hut Slippers are very soft on the skin, very warm and comfortable to wear. They are ideal for wearing in a bothy and campsite, especially after a long hike swapping the boots for these slippers give your feet a bit of tlc. I expect that they will be equally comfortable to wear around the home in the colder months. The sole is non-slip, but not rough so as to wear the house carpet on the stairs. Very happy this the purchase and I highly recommend them.
However, if your feet are larger than size 10 (UK) then you will struggle. I have the largest size XL and my toes are at the very tip, I have regular size 10 feet. Luckily there is enough give in the material to allow a fairly comfortable fit.
I had initially order size large for my size 10 feet but they were too small. Rab's returns policy is that they refund the returned item and you have to order the replacement item you desire, this is annoying, as you cannot just get a replacement.
However this policy is very understandable if consumers are ordering items in multiple sizes then returning the items that do not fit. This must have been very annoying and extra work for the staff at Rab.
I am a Ski patroller
I am a Ski patroller, back country skier and mountaineer. RAB is my go to company for clothing, packs and accessories. I cannot wait for their Neutrino sleeping bags to come back into stock so I can try them out but they seem to be a hot in demand product. Great customer service and products.
World class jacket repair
Booked my rab jacket in for a repair as my cat scratched a tiny rip in a front panel.
Booked a repair and sent it away.
Just got the jacket back today and it was repaired by Rachel. There was a note that she had done a full panel replacement as it looked better.
I dont know if Rachel will see this, or if Rab pass on comments. But if they do then please give a huge thanks to Rachel.
Marked one star down as communication could be better. Sent my jacket away and then didn't hear any update or if it had even been received. Had to ring in the end to check as it was an expensive coat.
Other than that a great service.
