Firstly
Firstly, the booking process was very easy and on the day Sam the RAC mechanic kept me informed all the way through the process from his initial call to inform me of his attendance time to talking through what he had done.
Also very easy payment process and the money was taken after all the works was completed.

My RAC mechanic Joe was brilliant
My RAC mechanic Joe was brilliant, let me know when he was going to arrive the day before, arrived on time and was a friendly, lovely guy (which isn’t always common especially early in the morning), had a quick chat, let him get on and at the end got my car back, fully serviced with a breakdown on what I might need to keep an eye on. Will definitely be using RAC again and hopefully Joe will be the one showing up on my doorstep!

Mobile Mechanic HARRY.
Mobile Mechanic HARRY was allocated the job of replacing the starter motor late in the day. He gave regular updates on his ETA and was mindful of me having waited all day. Fortunately he willingly took on the job even though it took him way past his normal finish time.
Forty minutes after his arrival the job was complete.
Harry is to be commended for his standard of customer service !

Quick and professional service!

I can’t fault the service I received. My battery replacement was booked for Wednesday, but when the RAC mechanic arrived he found a damaged terminal that meant the job couldn’t be done safely that day. Rather than rush it or leave me in the dark, he took the time to explain exactly what the problem was and talked me through the next steps clearly.
What really impressed me was that he booked me straight back in, and I was seen the very next day. He returned, fitted an OEM replacement battery, and sorted out the damaged terminal too. Professional, honest, and genuinely went the extra mile to get it done properly and quickly. Couldn’t ask for more.

I had the joy of having John Gold as my mobile mechanic yesterday morning. From the beginning of our interaction John was polite and extremely friendly, John was changing my break pads and discs and within 10 minutes he called me out to be so open and honest telling me my discs were actually okay and I could just pay for the pads and that’ll be all. Absolutely amazing service from him a true credit to the Swindon team. Thank you R.A.C and thank you John.

Mechanic kept me up to date on his…
Mechanic kept me up to date on his arrival turned up on time, explained everything he was going to do and then got to work on my vehicle. About two hours later he phoned me to say it was all done, he went through everything he had done and explained a couple of things he had written on the report. Then he took the payment, it was all so simple and I didn’t even leave my home. Jay Elliot the mechanic was a really nice chap and a great job I would highly recommend him.
