A class above other garages

The whole experience from entering the showroom in York was fabulous. Our sales assistant, was attentive and informative. But what really set the experience apart from other garages is that she took the time to include my daughter. This had such a positive impact, and it was wonderful that she saw us as a family and treated each member with respect and kindness. It was this level of service that made it an easy decision to purchase our Volvo through Ray Chapmans, York.

Excellent service at Ray Chapman Malton.

We picked our XC90 up yesterday from Ray Chapman Malton All the staff were very professional and helpful. Garth answered a few questions over the phone and said anything you need to know we are all pleased to help The salesman Tom was excellent. Very patient with us on the handover setting up our screens with all the new technology.
We traveled from Wakefield to buy this car. That alone tells you we have had good service in the past.
I’ve already recommended them to a friend.

Bradford branch

Bradford branch - Customer Service Pants

Took XC40 in for a service re RTTI not working on sat nav. Asked them to knock off the regular maintenance reminder warning light while they were at it. Refuses, defeats the object he said as you will get it serviced elsewhere …I’m aware I can do it at home but thought they would do it whilst here….minor matter but shows the lack of customer skills. And yes I will get it serviced elsewhere where they don’t charge £125 per hour labour…

Ray Chapman Motors Malton - Highly Recommended!

We would highly recommend Ray Chapman Motors in Malton! We bought a great 3 year old Volvo XC60 from them today. Many thanks to Jason (sales consultant) who was friendly, informative, patient and super helpful; he went out of his way to make sure we had the car set up as we wanted it, and knew where all the controls were, before we left. Thank you too to Gareth (transaction manager) for helping to get all the admin done quickly.

Good old fashioned customer service as we remember it.

Customer service these days is non-existent. Nobody wants to speak with their customers, preferring the BOT.
It is a pleasure to deal with Ray Chapman as I have done when having my brilliant XC40 serviced during the past 5 years. I have just taken delivery of my new one and their salesman Martin Hadrick was most helpful. Thank goodness we still have people like Chapmans and their team. If only their coffee was as good as the rest of their operation!!

Filthy interior…

My Volvo XC60 was serviced by the Bradford Volvo dealership today. The service went fine but whilst driving home I started to notice dirty marks on the cream leather interior. The seats, doors, steering wheel etc are filthy and stained. It’s clear that whoever has been in it had dirty hands and clothes. The car was immaculate when it went in. If this is how they treat your cars when you take it in for a service I won’t be going back.

We delt with Bryonie Everall at the Ray Chapman Volvo Bradford branch. Bryonie was very friendly and professional throughout all stages from trading in of our old car to purchasing our new car. 5* Experience with Ray Chapman Motors

Had a great experience with Ray Chapman Motors, when buying my new Volvo. From the moment I found the vehicle online and made contact, Sales Executive Rob Riddell put my mind at ease. He was friendly, answered any questions quickly and sent me videos of the car, then assisted me through the purchase. It was a pleasure doing business with him, and very nice to receive a call after my car had been delivered to check everything was ok. First class service compared to most car dealers!

Excellent Service.

I've been after a Kia Stinger for a while, and saw a beauty for sale at Ray Chapman Motors.

Spoke with Justin via phone calls/emails, and with his reassurance (as I only went via images on their website), professionalism and competitive part exchange offer, it was a no brainer.

Delivered to my home address on time and in pristine condition, to say I was ecstatic with my purchase, is an understatement.

Receiving a few follow up phone calls to see how my new acquisition was going, was also a nice touch.

Excellent Customer Service

I’ve had some excellent customer service experiences at Ray Chapman Volvo York and today was no exception. I was initialled welcomed by the receptionist team Katie and Denise, and then spoke to the Service receptionist Leah. I had a relatively minor problem with my XC60 but Leah gripped the problem and it was sorted within 30 minutes.
Customer Service second to none.

A first class sales experience

I found Ray Chapman Motors by chance whilst searching nationwide for my nearly new Volvo XC90. Not only did they have the exact car within their stock that I wanted, they also proved themselves very knowledgeable about Volvo cars in general and especially the model I was looking for. Our sales contact was Aidan Horton. He was knowledgeable and professional but also had time to listen to me, to understand what I, the customer required. My beautiful car was personally delivered to my door inclusive of a slow and detailed walk through the many controls. I found the whole experience dealing with Ray Chapman Motors stress free and trustworthy.

We had a system breakdown on our Volvo…

We had a system breakdown on our Volvo XC60 on our return journey from Whitby to Surrey. We called into Ray Chapman motors in Malton on the off chance and received excellent efficient service from the staff and especially the mechanic Matthew who with his skill and with his diagnostics was able to override the problem and sent us on our way south. Have been looking for a”Dog Car “ for the last few months and saw a V90 Cross Country for sale for £23249….. sadly by the time the owner replied it had been sold . Imagine my surprise when I found the very same car for sale in Ray Chapman with only £8000 added to its sale price ! Nice work if you can get it …My search continues ……

Don't trust this dealer I bought a car…

Don't trust this dealer I bought a car from there York dealership which had problems from the day of delivery.Had to pay for another service 4 months later as don't think the car was checked over before delivery and nothing but continued problems.They never call back to discuss the isue Look else where if looking for a used vehicle.

Great sales team Bradford branch …

I just wanted to provide some feedback on my recent experience dealing with Ray Chapman Volvo Bradford branch. The sales team in particular Gee Kang and Andrew Thompson are such genuine individuals that understand what a difference that excellent customer service means and are testament to the organisation they work for. It’s so refreshing to deal with individuals who go above and beyond to make a difference and truly make the customer experience something that you will remember. It’s not a mechanical process that sells cars, its people who are genuinely vested and have a passion for what they do that make a difference, keep doing what you do!

More than expected! - what everyone should aspire to

Ray Chapman at Malton have been exceptional. The whole car buying experience, attention to detail and customer care has been something you simply don't get very often. The team that I dealt with: Marianna, Ben, David and Ken were all very professional. All my questions, concerns etc were dealt without any trouble. I would not hesitate to recommend Ray Chapman at Malton!
