When I contacted RCT to enquire about a bespoke brass frame to surround the newly constructed opening for a woodburner, the staff at RCT were amazingly helpful from the first, even going as far as sending me a sample of the brass strip in order that I could see what it might look like in situ. They advised sending photos before I placed the order, and made sure as well that I understood exactly where and how to measure everything from, The frame arrived promptly and was absolutely perfect. I ordered a magnetic fire trim online using the measuring instructions provided which were easy to follow. The trim fits perfectly. I also ordered a new fret online but was a little concerned the silver finish I had chosen wouldn't match the brushed steel trim. So after placing the order, I contacted RCT and spoke to Claire, who couldn't have been more helpful. She took the time to check in their showroom and call me back to reassure me. The trim and fret arrived well packed and are perfect. Great service.

We recently contacted RCT Manufacturing ltd to request a bespoke fire (hearth frame) surround to place onto our tiled hearth and our newly fitted oak flooring. My wife contacted the company and sent measurements and a couple of pictures and Jackie knew exactly what we wanted. She sent us two small samples of different sizes and colours for us to choose from. Then then the final confirmation of size was agreed. The frame arrived without problems and is absolutely perfect for what we were looking for to compliment both the tiles and flooring. We were looking to replace our fire surround and this company offered a bespoke service as our fireplace was non-standard. The website gave very clear instructions for the measurements required, and the product that was delivered fitted perfectly. But what stood out here was the customer service, from the moment of the order to it's delivery. We had a query and when we called it was great to be answered immediately on the helpline without a robotic voice and endless menu choices. Quite like old times...

My parents needed a new brass surround for their fireplace when having a new fire installed. Surprisingly the fire retailer was unable to help us. I searched online and found RCT - their website was clear and provided a realistic price. All telephone and email contact with the company was efficient and friendly. The fire surround arrived before the expected time and was very well packaged. The brass surround is excellent in quality and a superb piece of manufacturing. I would recommend RCT to anyone. Their bespoke, quality service is rare and deserves praise.
