Absolutely ineffective service, errors and long time for replies

Revolut was to receive an international transfer, they reverted to the origin bank as they had registered the account in the UK (before brexit) instead of Denmark. In the process of reverting the money, done automatically, they didn't inform all needed information and the money is simply lost for a month. Chat and customer service channels are simply ineffective. Extremely dissatisfied, and still could not retrieve or receive the money back. Revolut don't answer about the costs related to the problem they caused.

Customer service is an absolute nightmare

The app is good, but if you ever need the customer service you are officially F****d.

If you don't need anything complicated and just exchange currency to use abroad ok, but definitely don't use it for stocks and crypto or anything else.
If something happenes you are completely alone.
Customer service is useless, not competent, and not responsive at all.

They cancel my new card without…

They cancel my new card without providing any reason. For some reason, I can't log in to my account, so I cannot contact customer support to provide any help (in-app chat only). This is an example of another company that is all about marketing and growth, without thinking about their customers.

Money transferred 5 days ago never…

Money transferred 5 days ago never reached receiver, app said completed in the first day. Customer support abusing empathy but not solving anything. Situation escalated and every day in chat and nothing solved . Trivial customer support wording : rest assured, we are on the case, the relevant team is on it and bla bla bla . Where is my money?

Terrible!

Revolut UK is appalling and very bad banking services. I have asked my mother to do international bank transfer of £1600 into my revolut bank account. It states 3 days in your account. But do not believe Revolut they use the money and never reached my account. I was sick travelling in Europe and money was for my urgent medical treatment while traveling. But I never received £1600 which my mum sent to me. So put yourself in my situation. Please please do not use revolut for international banking. I now plan take Revolut to UK court! Try to use wise or TransferWise company for international banking. I had no issues with wise banking company but with revolut it was horrible experience

Terrible support

Terrible support.
It has now been 23 days and im still missing 1300 dkk (175 euro). Now I get a respons every 3-4 days and they are not being very helpful

Response from Revolut after…

This is the response from Revolut after 4 years! I just want my money back! And to delete this crap app!

"I am extremely sorry for the time this is taking

I do appreciate that you have shared the details with us.
Note that you were unable to make the transaction at that time since your account is limited as for now.

Please be informed that you are unable to proceed further with the verification procedure as I can fully confirm that we have all the needed information from your end. We do not need any further information.

Transferring the funds might not be possible as for now since your account is limited at the moment."

Cancelled my physical card without a reason

Everything was going alright until yesterday, for some reasons i received an email from Revolut claiming that my physical card has been "successfully cancelled". I tried contacting support and all they told me was "we cancelled your card because we are constantly updating our payments and cards tech processes". I mean W T F!!! Cancelling a customer's card without any prior notice or warning!! My suspect is that they just cancelled the card because it's been inactive for some time. Scam online bank, there are many better out there like TransferWise, avoid this trash company at all costs.

Bank from hell. Revolut is not the one.

I’ve been using Revolut since they initially started up and it was a great company at first.
When I moved to Madrid I decided to pay for premium as it gives you health insurance, other benefits. But honestly I haven’t felt any benefits.
Instead I’ve been humiliated a dragged threw the dirt. I’ve never used a bank that was so useless.
I’ve had staff speak to me in a rude manner when I referred a friend who had two numbers linked to one phone. They accused me of trying to steal money from them, because they one person I referred was suspicious. They then blocked all my friend referrals (which is nearly impossible to get a colleague to join) and when I complained and sent a transcript of the conversation they said it wasn’t a concern for them.

And then..
I was scammed by some Russian scammers. And I was distraught and contacted Revolut straight away and they said there was nothing they can do. And I had to fill out a chargeback form. On the chargeback there is no option for fraud ...
and after 76 days no result from Revolut other than, keep waiting and the relevant team will get back to you.
I started a 5 day campaign, contacting help and pushing my concern all the way up to managers. After 3 days speaking to 3 different managers. Them all telling me to keep waiting... I finally got another email from the relevant team saying that I needed to wait another 50 days.

In all ... I got scammed and Revolut seem to not have a shed of decency or integrity for their paying customers for premium and just long it out in hopes you’ll forget or become defeated.

Worst banking time wasters on this globe 🌏

Don’t waste your time or money on this company.

Enjoyed revolut for a few months before…

Enjoyed revolut for a few months before all the problems started. I tried to transfer €2500 through the app using IDEAL. The money got taken put of my bank but never ended in my revolut account. Called my bank and they assured me that ideal payments are guaranteed payments and that they didn't see a decline for the transaction on their side. Now 7 days later I still don't have my money and the only thing customer service keeps repeating is that I need to be patient and the team is working on it. Today they told me it will take another 3 to 5 days for the money to be returned. I've lost all hope this will ever happen and if it does I will never use Revolut again. This company can't be trusted and shows more and more signs of being a bunch of scammers.

This company isn’t trustworthy

This company isn’t trustworthy.

A vendor charged me a higher amount than I agreed and I filed a chargeback with Revolut.

After a month, Revolut decided to cancel the chargeback without consulting me!

When I asked why it happened, they dragged me for 3 months (!!!), passing me between customer “care” associates, and telling me lie after lie (one time they tell me the chargeback is back on, the next time they tell me the chargeback was never back on).

So far they didn’t start the chargeback again.

It seems that they prefer keeping good relationship with some vendors rather than protect their clients from stealing.

I wouldn’t trust them and from now on I will use other services (I filed a chargeback with a competitor of Revolut a while ago and everything went well, including great support).

There are many alternatives to Revolut, I would definitely recommend choosing one which is more reliable.
