A good taxi company, I love their services which are available for anyone, disabled included. Just mention it and it will be taken care off.

The usual waiting but thats the same for all other companies. Drivers are the kindest but keep your distance!

I am a driver and working with Scottscars from last 2 years. I read some reviews from the drivers who are no more with this company. I wana tell them that I never ever have any problem with the company regarding work. I think Sale, Altrincham, Hale, Stretford and surrounding area is best area to work for and Scotts covers most of this area. Its driver, who need to pay for uniform as we are self employed. You only work for 4 days which is not enough time to make a judgement. Second factor is that in taxi business, every day is different from the other days ,Some days are very busy while some are very quite, while as a driver we need to keep this in mind. You can not have same amount of money every day. As for as the fare is concerned, it depends which route you are using to. I think you were new to the area and was using the long routes. I think you should request the passenger to guide you incase you are using the long routes. Most of the passengers don't mind to guide you the right route. The meter will keep running while you are at red light only if you turn the option on from the app, otherwise it never happened to me or any of my friend.
To pick the passenger from Air port is bit tricky. As taxi only have a limited time to stay in the pick up area. So most of the time drivers don't inter in the pick up area until they are 100% sure that the passenger has cleared the immigration and collected the luggage and is ready to pick up as the driver need to pay a big pick up fee. We pick and drop 100s of passengers every week. I never ever have any issue with pick up or drop off. Its the most trusted company in the area. Operators are very professional and very well experienced.

Brilliant service. Taxi arrived on time and dropped all shopping bags for me at my door because I had a sore foot from playing football the night before.

I have often had poor service from Scotts. They will promise a taxi within a certain amount of time but it seldom arrives on time. Last night was a classic example. Rang and asked if a taxi could pick us up within 10 minutes. We had a few options, including other taxi firms or an Uber but was told that 10 minutes was no problem. Called a further 3 times to chase and was told it was just a few minutes away. Eventually arrived after 40 minutes of waiting.

I was left stranded in town by another taxi firm, I rang Scott’s cars and they picked me up and were very polite on the phone as they could tell I was panicking. The driver was really nice to me and the service was top notch, would Reccomend!

If i could give zero stars i would. Please use any other taxi company but scotts. Rude incompetent receptionists and drivers. Always late that's if they do in fact turn up and then they proceed to take you the longest route possible.

Ok booked a taxi from airport to sale a week before I was due back for 0200. Got to the pick up area for 0200 and tracker said it was being dispatched in 15 mins???? After 20 mins of getting through the operator said he hadn’t sent it as he had been calling to see if I had got my luggage (I had no missed calls) then best bit was the app told me 8.60 yet the driver told me 15.50 DO NOT USE

After using Scott's Cars for the first time, recently I can honestly say they are the most incompetent (Taxi operators) I've ever.... encountered.... from the 1st booking,
The radio operator's are abundantly rude & ignorant as they carn seem follow simple instructions aswel as information given to them by phone, awaiting a 2nd Booking* only to fine out whilst waiting fo the Taxi* they were at the other side of Manchester.... i rang them yet again, I was practically told I was a liar & having been dropped off there earlier on;... 3rd Booking* having a job booked nearly 3'hours in advance I was then told they were running late and having the utter cheek to say there really buisy & told to wait another 10mins or so, as they were buisy!!! there was no empathy or Apologies from them whatever;.... so unless am very much mistaken please, think twice before using this totally incompent Taxi Company!!!
