I bought an Apeks Harness

I bought an Apeks Harness, wing and weight pockets. The prize was the best one in the market. Also they answered all my questions I had by email or phone.
Also I decided to send back another item and they paid my money back without questions and really fast.
I'm very happy with the service and the quality of the products and definitely will buy again in this store.

Dry Suit Repair

I had my Dry Suit repaired by Dan at SDS. There was quite a lot of work to be done, neck seal, glove rings, zip, pee-valve and some holes.... The suit had taken quite a battering... The work done was of a very high quality and I've just had my first dry dive for months... Absolutely awesome service ... my suit is like new... I cannot recommend SDS highly enough.

I was given excellent advice and …

I was given excellent advice and nothing was too much trouble. Adam spent time showing me all the various product that I was interested in and quickly sorted out the dry suit for me to try on. Really pleased with the service and the suit arrived as promised a few days later.

Great price if you can ever get the item...

I ordered a scubapro first stage on 04 Jul 2017 it is now 26 Jul 2017, and I still have not received notice of shipment. I sent two emails the first was not returned, the second email was responded to with:

Good morning

We are sorry for the delay, your order is being sent out today and will be with you in 3-4 days via international courier, we will send the tracking details once they are generated, hope that's all ok.

well that gave me a lot of hope, but 24 hours later and still no notice of shipment, and their web-page still shows my item as "processing".

I undestand that they are a small shop and may not have had the regulator in stock, which is fine if they would let me know it is on back order, but silence or promising to ship it out and then not sending it does not give me a whole lot of faith.
When I first contacted them to see what shipping cost would be they were very fast to respond and cut shipping in half for my item, even said they were sorry it was so much but first stages weigh a lot.
Update: 27 July 17
Okay I got an email today saying it was shipped with a tracking number, I checked the number and it is in the USA heading my way (27 July 17). So basically if you are going to order an item from them you should email them first and see if they have it in stock, If they do not have it in stock then be prepared for it to take a while for them to ship it. unlike other online ordering sites they do not show when the item is in stock or not. That takes an email.

The computer was shipped via P4D, or the cheapest means possible, if you look online they score a 1 or less on reviews, they tend to lose everything they ship. So my package made it to “LEAMINGTON DEPOT” and sat there, then a new tracking number was posted and my order is back at “LONDON-HEATHROW - UNITED KINGDOM” I am not sure if this means it is heading back to the shop or coming back to the USA. Either way I still do not have my package.

Update: 29 July 17:
So I called the shop, yes called form the USA to the UK thank god for t-mobile international calling plan. After a short call (20+ minutes) I was told they would resend the package as soon as it came in, he was very nice and apologetic, I also asked about a drysuit and the idive computer, the drysuit he said he could get in 4 days, and the computer in a week. then I tried P4D redirect on the shipping and sent it back to myself, which it looks like it worked because it is back in the USA in LA in the hands of DSL express, yes I have hopes it will get here this time.
Update 31 July 17:
I received my package!!!! So what have I learned? SDS watersports is an awesome dealer if you are local and can go in. If you are not local but can call, they will go out of their way to help you, and between them and yourself you can work on getting your package, If you are trying to do it via email alone... well... just call them. Will I shop with them again? Yes now that I know I can get my package (and they promised to use a different shipper next time) I will be ordering a dry-suit and computer from them. and five of my dive buddies are already looking at buying MR17 from them.

Online shopping failure!

Ordered mask and snorkel for a family holiday having bought kids sets from SDS before and visiting shop couple of times with good experience and reasonable prices in shop. Found a good set online and ordered. Was perhaps a little over zealous with expectations of delivery within 2 days but didn't think twice about it. After returning from a weeks holiday was surprised not to find any missed delivery notice or any correspondence. After waiting a further week still no delivery or messages phoned and was informed order has been received but not processed as waiting to see if I still wanted items due to timeframe. Explained yes as money was taken for items day after ordering and would like them for next family holiday. Phoned several more times to be told no stock available and suppliers not available. After patiently waiting a month decided enough was enough and phoned to cancel order was told that person responsible for transactions was on holiday and would process cancellation on return. Now over a month no items no refund and nice phone bill from chasing order.

A new go-to company.

I needed a wetsuit for an upcoming diving holiday. I am an unusual shape, so I always have to try things on. I ordered what I had selected on the basis of the size chart, but sadly it was out of stock. SDS offered me a very near equivalent that I was happy to accept. We had a conversation about timing - they shipped it the same day. Tried it on, it fitted where it touched and that's all. So it had to go back for credit. The credit came quickly and correctly (eat your hearts out lesser vendors!).
They may have not made the quick and easy sale, but they are now going to be right up there on my list of go-to companies

Saved by the bell..............

I needed a wetsuit for a holiday at very short notice. SDS didn't have what I wanted in stock so they chased the supplier and procured one very quickly. They were very helpful on the phone and gave me a great service. I wasn't too concerned about the price because speed was more important but the price was very good too. I have used their services in the past and would not hesitate to recommend them for value and great service.

Purchase of Inon Strobe

SDS offered the best price for a replacement strobe (bitten by a shark!) and the service was excellent throughout. Highly recommended.

Awesome service of all my gear needs

Over the last 17 years I have purchased the vast majority of my kit here due to SDS providing the best advice, prices and service all wrapped in fabulous craic. Am local so regularly pop in to look for a new "toy" - and the boys invariably get me a good price so I am never dissapointed.

All round excellent

SDS is my local divestore and they've always got great offers on. They also do price match which is great! Never had a problem and I'll be coming back shortly for some more gear!

I have been using SDS since I first started diving 28 years ago & there customer service is excellent, they excel in putting the customer first no matter what grade you are. Well worth a visit.
