Elaine Kaye responded quickly to my request for advice on how to choose residential setting with nursing care suitable for my 102 year old father. He had partially recovered from a serious infection which had been treated in hospital. He'd been very well looked after in Perth House with a view to rehabilitation into is own home but was not sufficiently fit to manage there. Elaine listened carefully and was able to recommend homes with appropriate facilities. We secured a bed at Ashbourne Lodge where Dad is receiving kind and compassionate care. Jenifer Walker at Senior Home Plus was incredibly helpful and supportive in what is a difficult journey to find the right care home for my father. She set-up tours of great care homes and followed up with me. This is a free service which is great, and I highly recommend using it.

I was greatly impressed with her friendliness and meticulous attention to every relevant detail of the help we needed. We quickly received a suggestion of a suitable care home. We visited and it so right for our needs we booked on the spot.

I made contact around 2 years ago trying to find care for my poorly Mum. I was asked what my requirements were and it was clear they couldn’t find anything suitable. However they kept contacting me with Homes that did not meet my needs. I asked them to stop calling as I had found somewhere myself that met all our requirements. They stopped contacting me for a while, my Mother sadly passed away not many weeks after finding her new home. I was contacted again and explained via email and phone conversation that she had passed away. I have been contacted 3 times in the last 6 weeks asking if I’m still looking for a Home for my Mum... well obviously not. I have replied to 3 emails to explain the situation but the contact keeps happening. PLEASE stop contacting me, remove me from your system and show some respect!

I contacted Seniorhomeplus as I was trying to find a suitable nursing home for my friend who is suffering from dementia. Jenifer Walker, the Seniorhomeplus advisor was sympathetic, helpful and constructive - and gave freely of her time and experience in clarifying my friend's particular needs and how a suitable place might be found him.

Senior Home Plus are an excellent firm to aid your search to find a quality care home for your loved one. After my initial search for a care home I was contacted by Jenifer Walker from Senior Home Plus she was kind and considerate to the needs of my friend who I was looking for a care home due to her Alzheimer’s she recommended an excellent home that had all the amenities my friend needed to still give her a great quality of life in a modern clean environment with a great outdoor space which my friend loves. She now lives in the home and is enjoying each day as it comes. Thank you Jenifer Walker for all the advice you gave and finding this wonderful home for my friend.

Josh Moore was very attentive and knowledgable and responded quickly with suggestions for care facilities locally. He followed up any enquiries. We did in fact choose a care home not on his list but that did not reflect any dissatisfaction with Senior Home Plus service given.

Emma was super friendly and helpful. We had a phone conversation about what I was looking for to help with my Nan's care. Emma kept in touch with text messages and arranged appointments for me to view a couple to nursing homes. This was really helpful when you find yourself suddenly needing to sort care and leading your own busy life! Every little helps - thanks Emma! X

Understanding all is not black and white with social care funding

Josh and his team connected with me and were amazing. Josh kept in touch my with me and never minded my needs for my husband changing constantly. I was offered good reliable advice plus being found homes to suit our needs. Unfortunately my husband didn't get to move to a better place in time but my appreciation of your assistance is heartfelt

I wasn't expecting such attention and care to be given when I filled out the online form but Josh Moore really took the time to listen and respond appropriately. He followed up daily with me and made me feel like I wasn't alone in doing the search for mums care.
I would definitely use this Your Senior Home Plus again, should we need it because I had zero knowledge of how these homes work and Josh helped me to understand.
