Jenifer Walker was very efficient in listing possible homes for my mother. The service helps to reduce the manual search of homes and provides information.

After my initial phone call with Jenifer Walker explaining my situation and wanting to find a suitable care home for my mother in law l was very pleased how she emailed me several times to check how things were going and offered her advice and understanding.
Overall a great experience

When I was looking for a care package for my 98 year old mother from her local social services, they were very difficult to work with and did everything possible to put me off.
I got advice from Jake Saunders of Senior Home Plus. Jake gave me a lot of advice, support and a list of possible care homes to consider and got me back on track. He also followed through to ensure that things were working out. My mother is now in a care home of her choice.

Josh really helped me find a suitable nursing home for my elderly mum. We'd driven around a some homes I'd found on line which I found were not at all suitable .
Some homes on line do not make it clear what kind of care they provide so a lot of time can be wasted .Josh suggested a few homes in our area that could accommodate my mum's needs and I was so grateful for someone to speak to that could help with what I found to be a stressful process. I was contacted by various homes the next day by telephone who had spaces . The first one we viewed was excellent so we choose that one and hopefully mum will be settled and well cared for there. He spoke clearly and was so understanding of the whole situation.

I made one enquiry and was then hounded and spammed with multiple daily phone calls, texts and emails. This went on for months until one of their agents finally agreed to remove me from their list of people to harass.

I am very grateful to senior home plus for their very informative, friendly and extremely useful chat it really helped me and my family!

Intial contact was great from Jake. Friendly and helpful. My dad's situation changed and he went into hospital. We are now dealing with local social services, and looking at funding options, so our search for a suitable home is in limbo. I received calls and texts to which I replied saying I would let them know when I knew. Just had an email from Jake which said that he had tried several times to contact me without a response. As their service is free, a response from families updating them on which home they have chosen "is the least we can ask". I now feel somewhat hounded at a particularly vulnerable stage. Wish I had not contacted them.

UPDATE: Jake called me today to explain that the email hadn't come from him, that the IT team had sent them out with his name and without his consent. He also expressed a view that there are too many communications from them. He explained that he had had meetings with his management about all of the above and there will be changes.

I agreed to amend/update this review rather than remove it as, at this point, I don't know for sure that the changes will definitely happen. I hope, for any future customers that my experience is an isolated one and future reviews are glowing.

A really good personal service that gives you the confidence to make important decisions on behalf of your friends or family. Quick relevant information and personal (yes a real person) follow up allowing discussion and advice. S

We needed information and recommendation at short notice after my mother-in-law (104) suffered the first stroke, which made her blind. ONE phone call, after a quick search in Google, put me in touch with Jake, who was immediately able to suggest three care homes in our area. Within 24 hours we had visited the top recommendation and reserved a room. We could not have been more pleased and reassured by the quality of care delivered by Rosebery Manor Care Home. The lady lived on a further three months before her second stroke and her final four days. During this traumatic time, the care both she and we received from the staff were of the highest quality.

Hannah was knowledgeable, was careful to understand my wife's needs.
She suggested suitable care homes within reasonable traveling distance for me and arranged for me to visit them so that I could see each home for myself before making a decision.
By contrast, the local council offered one home that I wouldn't put my dog in, and another that was much too far away.

The advice was actually given in August 2023, but the form would not accept that date.

Hannah was so engaged when we were looking for a suitable home for my father in law. She responded quickly and followed up all enquiries. We wouldn’t have found the home without her help. We had to move Ken from the Lake District to Brighton which was potentially problematic but Hannah was extremely helpful with all our queries. I would happily recommend her!

I can't be constructive at all. This company continually bombards me with emails and texts about my search for a care home, even though I have informed them of my mother's death. They don't respond to phone calls, emails or texts asking them to stop. The named contact doesn't reply. Absolutely dreadful. They never even found a care home or anything...
